Housemade Peanut Butter
Our Peanut Butter —made in very small batches— was put on the map when Lynn Rosetto Kasper swooned over it on her NPR Splendid Table show years ago. Jane and Michael Stern (Roadfood.com) said, "This could very well be the best peanut butter on the planet." And each and every day, our diners rave about this crunchy delight. Shelf life (unopened) = 6+ months
Huevos Rancheros "Of The Gods"
A crisp flour tortilla layered with buttery hashbrowns, spicy black beans, soft-scrambled eggs, and a 3-cheese blend baked to a golden brown. Called "Huevos Rancheros of the Gods" by roadfood.com. Topped with hand-chopped salsa and sour cream.
It was so good to be back! Things are certainly different due to covid but the food was excellent as always and the staff is just as amazing as I remembered. Can’t wait to go again!
One of our favorites and it was so very good to see it back open and doing regular meals with good spacing and safety precautions. Delicious food, fun place to eat.
Well.... let me say first that I have always been a huge fan. So was delighted to get a seat at a pop up dinner. It was very COVID safe and they had a couple of musicians who were good.
I guess I also like sit at the bar, but the dining experience was just not fun. Not the usual fun wait staff and creative menu. First thing I was told was they are out of garlic mash and only have tots and fries... but I was paying way more for pub food that way. Yah they shaved parm on the tots... but still tots. And it was a 7 pm dinner! How did they run out? I guess if you are going to be open for a pop up, Have the staples.
I mean it was okay. But I had looked so forward to it to end up with food that wasn’t that great and a boring waiter who wasn’t wonderful. I just expected different. I was disappointed. I think I’ll wait a while before I try that again. Maybe when you can go in the bar again. Sorry Hells Kitchen. Just being real. Maybe next time.
The service was excellent - always checking on us. The food was delicious - The Ricotta Lemon Hotcakes and Linguine Scampi with Shrimp. Perfection!!! The lighting was dim and romantic - very soothing and peaceful with a slight tune of music in the background. Not to loud not to quiet. It was just right. Definitely would go back. This was our second visit there.
This restaurant is always amazing. The staff are great and the ambiance is like no other. Highly recommend everything on the menu : )
Great dinner. Fun place to eat! The staff was outstanding! Highly recommend
The food is consistently fresh and tasty and served quickly!
Nate was our server and he was great as he filled my coffee and our waters when necessary. The food was amazing. Huevos rancheros were so good!! Can’t wait to go back.
Very happy to have been able to attend a purgatory weekend brunch. We applaud Hell's Kitchen; they are taking precautions and doing things right--even though it has very likely hit their bottom line. We will continue to support them now and always.
One thing I really want to call out-- For this experience, Hell's took the time to call me and explain to me the precautions. They took the time to learn about my party and inquire if we needed any special assistance. One of our group is less mobile and needs a cane so stairs are difficult. Hell's arranged to have the elevator ready for us. This may seem like nothing; but to us it was really going the extra mile.
Our experience at the brunch itself was a ton of fun. The staff / Server was amazing. Fun, knowledgeable and personable. The bloody Mary bar "table side" was great. Absolutely worth every penny. The lemon pancakes continue to amaze me every time I order them. All in all, we had a great time.
Thank you Hell's Kitchen. Keep on keeping on.
It was wonderful to get to return to in-person dining! Very intimate, it was quiet when we were there, which is not at all normal but works for our new norm. The menu is limited but all our favorites were on there. The walleye hash was amazing! Service was impeccable and the atmosphere is still awesome, despite fewer diners.
Hell's Kitchen offered a special opportunity to dine on-premise for a Sunday brunch, with assurances that customers and staff would be protected. I was very impressed by the experience!
We were seated at a comfortable table, at a safe distance from other diners. The restaurant offered a complete menu (on paper, to be discarded after one use) that featured huevos rancheros (my favorite of all time) and a bunch of new items.
Service was prompt and professional, and our food arrived hot and perfectly prepared. If this was a trial experience for the restaurant I'd say that it was successful.
Amazing food with many new items since the pandemic started. Over the top cleanliness with every COVID precaution taken. Lucas was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and overall highlight! We are glad to HK reopening and look forward to returning soon!
Hell's Kitchen is always fantastic, & this was no exception. Very clear protocols to keep their staff and customers safe, and delicious food as always!
It is 6/1. My reservation for 5/29 did not happen. Couple things i would like to share for the history books. Hell’s Kitchen was not open on 5/29 for my party of 7. We were in a freaking pandemic. They are responsible and thoughtful HUMANS who continue to wait for the ALL CLEAR that we all are so pained to hear.
But on top of that, 5/29 was a night of continued violence and mayhem in the wake of yet another black man. George Floyd died at the hands of a poisoned mind and when the good people of minneapolis showed up to protest, a whole different slate of poisoned minds showed up to sow fear and destruction.
If we weren’t all in a corner 2 months ago, these clowns tried to push us in that corner a little tighter. But we won’t go. We’re cleaning up, we’re sharing food and clithing and hope. And a smile for anyone who’ll take it. And i am writing a review to say i freaking love Hell’s Kitchen and Angel Food and the food trucks and Birch and D’Amico and Nong’s and Theresa’s and PAMP and all our friends who are just trying to hold it together a little bit longer.
Please. Hold it together a little bit longer. We need you as much as you need us. It’s a message to the whole twin cities.
Hang on, hang on, we can do this.
Kitchen closed 1.5 hours early due to there being few patrons. I wanted to place a to go order at 8:45 and was told the kitchen closed at 8:30. It would have been nice for the waiter to come to us to make sure we didn’t want anything else and explaining that the kitchen would be closing early.
Outstanding! Can’t wait to return after the Coronavirus settles. Love this place!
Our favorite breakfast place around! Great food, great drinks, great service!
We love this place. The food, as always, was amazing!
The French dip was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
We found hair in our food. The food was not great. We had heard such great things about this place. But we were not impressed. After finding hair in the food. It just ruined the rest of the visit.
Ham, cheese and pear sandwich excellent!!!!
Tasty food, great service, awesome atmosphere!
Great atmosphere and great food!! Will definitely be back again!
Went for birthday dinner, food as always was great, only drawback was noisier night and they were out of one dish but the replacement was still delish!
Thank you so much for joining us on your special day! We try our best to not run out of any dishes, but it does happen on rare occasions and for that we do apologize... but beyond that, we're glad you had a great time and hope we get the chance to serve you again soon! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
Love this place, always lively. Service and food are top notch too.

We’ve been here on 3-4 occasions over the years on the weekend for a special occasion and it’s our highlight of the weekend! The Bloody Mary bar is awesome, must do!
Great experience! Had a 6pm reservation , got right in and seated at a nice high top table. Nice view of the live music!! Waiter took care of us. Food came right out and was very tasty! Definitely going back!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and to share your very kind words. You enjoying the music, the service, and of course your meal makes us so happy and we love hearing when we get everything just right. We can't wait to serve you again! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
We went there for our anniversary. It was during Lent and I gave up meat, I rolled the diced and attempted the "Impossible". WOW.
Advice, try the peanut butter and get you an ice cream; a wonderful small dessert at a great price and it is out of the world.
Thank you so much for choosing to include us in your anniversary celebration; we're thrilled that you had a great meal and were able to find a tasty option during Lent. The Impossible Burger really is awesome, and we’re so proud to have been the first restaurant in MN to carry it (and even happier that this great product has spread across the Twin Cities). I hope we get the chance to serve you again in the future! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
The Mahnomin porridge is amazing. Be sure to order at least one for the table. The bison sausage is delicious as well and packs some nice heat, and the lemon ricotta pancakes are the stuff of legend.
The decor might be a bit kitschy, but it's fun. This is a lively, energetic place where the waitstaff is consistently outstanding and often comes to work in jammies (at least for the breakfast shift). They also host music on weekends.
Thank you so much for all your kind words; we appreciate you taking the time to not only support us, but to share your feelings about our restaurant and the dishes you love so much. I hope we get the chance to serve you again soon! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
Fish and chips were slightly soggy and not seasoned. Ambiance was fine, and the band was good...but the food was the real disappointment.
Thank you for taking the time to visit us; I'm so sorry you left disappointed in your meal! We try our best to make sure every plate that leaves our kitchen is up to our standards, but on the off-chance that something less-than-stellar slips out, we appreciate candid feedback so we can turn around and make sure it doesn't happen again. If you have any more details to share, we're all ears. Other than that, I hope you'll consider giving us a second chance! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
Came here for my birthday. Really cool vibe, Scott our server was great, and I enjoyed the food. Overall recommend 😁
Thank you for joining us (and happy birthday); we're so glad you had a great experience. Scott is a wonderful server and we'll be sure to share your compliments with him. I hope you'll consider us for future celebrations! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
The food and drinks were great. Service was excellent. Drink and food prices were way too high. But we love the place!

As for the prices, we do our best to price our menu accordingly to cover our costs while still offering a fair value, but we're always open to specific feedback from guests and use it whenever we adjust our menus. I hope we get the chance to serve you again! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
our waiter was fantastic. very polite and energetic! food was above average and the feeling of being in down below was spot on.

The bloody mary’s are impossible to beat and the huevos rancheros are the best in the cities.
Thank you for visiting and thank you for the compliments! I hope you’ll consider coming again next time you’re in the area! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
Way too kitschy decor, food not good and overpriced for what it is and service only ok. Will not return. Trying too hard.
Thank you for visiting us and for sharing your thoughts. We know our style isn't for everyone, although we do sincerely appreciate you giving us a shot. If you have any specific details about how the food, service, or prices could have been better, we truly do value honest and candid feedback as it only helps us improve and live up to the reputation we've built over the years. -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
Waiter brought me prime rib instead of ribeye. He comped our drinks, a beer and a soda. The food was good.
Thank you for visiting and sharing your experience; I'm sorry for the mix-up with the order, but I'm also happy to hear that your server worked hard to make things right and that you ended up with an enjoyable meal. I hope you'll consider returning next time you're in the area! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
We had never been here before, but we were absolutely astonished by the atmosphere, the reasonable prices, and the fantastic quality of food. 10/10 would definitely go back.

We enjoyed experiencing the mimosa bar but really look forward to trying the bloody Mary bar next time. I'm not a fan of blood Mary's but it's a whole meal to build in that line!!
Thank you so much for coming in and for trying out the Mimosa Bar; we can't wait to see you again and hear what you think about the Bloody Mary! -Nate Gerdes Hell's Kitchen
