It was our 1st time here. My son wanted to try it. It was pretty busy for a Monday night. We ordered within 10 minutes of being seated. 40 minutes later our waitress came by to apologize for the wait and provided a Caesar salad from the chef for the long delay. She stated our food would be ready in 9 minutes, over 20 minutes later our food arrived. My partners steak tasted good but was warm not hot. My son’s salmon was good and my rack of lamb was good. Overall the wait for the food was way too long and the food itself was just ok, definitely not worth the cost or wait.

We went early (4:45pm) to get the special 3-course meal for $65. What a great deal for some wonderful food. The corn/potato/bacon chowder was delicious but the real winner was the short rib entree. I was so full I could only eat half the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend!

Just amazing! Food was spectacular - the best rack of lamb I have ever had! Every dish we had was out of this world. It’s not a cheap meal, but it is well worth it and a must-go. I have a gluten allergy(celiac) and they did well with that too.

Pretty disgusting when you have a hardwood table that is routinely wiped down with dirty rags and then they set the silverware directly on the table. They have a perfectly clean napkin placed in the middle of the place setting that does nothing. This is an upscale restaurant and they should either place tablecloths or place silverware on napkins. Food and service has improved since my first time 5 years ago. The restaurant is quite loud. The placement of the silverware on a dirty table is unacceptable.

The food was good but overly priced and small quantities. Seemed like there was not enough wait staff for the full occupancy restaurant. Our waiter seemed overworked by having to service 6 tables at once. My lamb was a little undercooked for my liking but our waiter offered to cook it a bit more. Instead he gave me a complimentary dessert. Both the scallops and Mac and cheese were served in very hot plates yet the food was lukewarm.

Gordon's restaurants are part of the few I enter know I will blow money at leave feeling 100 percent ok with it. The prefix with the caeser salad, beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding is unrivaled. I have a shellfish allergy, so the scallops are off the table. But if you can eat scallops according to the rest of my table they are worth it. Do not skip the sticky toffee pudding. Or server was wonderful.
