   Disappointing. You must be a rare meat lover to enjoy their best dish… beef Wellington. I’m not and there is a huge difference from their “rare” or “Medium rare” and mine that is normally right on with other restaurants. I understand the need to not overcook the pastry around the fillet, but wish they would figure out how to fix the rawness of this dish. Other places do. The best thing about food choices is the toffee sticky pudding! Delicious. Ambience disappointing. One large feature wall and beautiful center floor tile. Wasted space could be used for side wall booths for parties of 6-8 with much more “Hell” wall treatment like fireplace or rock walls. Service - another story. It was not busy ! Many empty tables yet our lady server was not enthusiastic in doing her job. It was my B-day and she was condescending when I asked about having a beef dish not served so very rare. Maybe an often asked question they should listen to.

   My husband and I got the 5-course meal and each dish was amazing! The experience was a bit pricey, but it was definitely an experience we will remember.

   We have been to the South Tahoe HK several times. We are fans of GR restaurants. This visit the menu had changed some which we like. All the favorites are still around but it is fun to try new options.

   Dining experience at Hells Kitchen was good, but we had been here several times 18 months ago and the major expansion of the restaurant since then has severely lessened the experience. Noise level no longer pleasant, scallop appetizer barely warm, 20 minute delay before soup arrived, wife’s filet was medium well rather than ordered medium rare, and service was okay but not nearly as attentive as before. Sometimes success brings growth but the growth does not insure success. We will probably try again in the future, just not anytime soon.

   Chef did an amazing job on the food.Sean was our server, we was fantastic! Sean was attentive, knowledgeable. It was a nice treat for him to help celebrate our anniversary!

   Amazing food!! We got the salmon and the Beef Wellington and they did not disappoint. The chowder is delicious and the toffee pudding is to die for. Was super happy with all the food.

    It was a great experience. We loved it wasn't overly busy and it was quiet which we enjoyed. Portions were much smaller than we thought but they were honestly perfect. We left very satisfied. Great service too.
