   First time eating here and it was a wonderful experience! The waitress was amazing, very helpful with everything on the menu and not only recommending dishes she liked, but what was the overall most liked item on the menu! Loved it all, food was outstanding!!! Highly recommend Heirloom!

   Great meal! Our entrees weren’t our favorite (whole fish and pork chop) but the overall experience was beautiful. The starters and dessert were absolutely out of this world, and it was probably the best dirty martini of my life. Will definitely be returning and trying new entrees!

   Came here for our anniversary and it was simply perfect. Great drinks, fantastic appetizers and the crab cakes, she-crab soup and pesto pasta with tuna were the best we’ve had in Va Beach. We will highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

    This was our first time at Heirloom and I wish I hadn’t waited to try this place. This is THE ultimate farm-to-table restaurant where the food is as amazing as the ingredients are fresh. Chef de Cuisine John Whitaker has created some of the most amazing food pairings I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Our server, Meredith, was attentive but not too much. She seemed to always be right there when our drinks were getting (but never empty!) and she was extremely pleasant and friendly. The restaurant itself does a wonderful job of combining a modern aesthetic with hints of rustic decor that manages to feel comfortable and elevates the F2T menu. The restaurant was very busy but never too loud or obnoxious. It feels cozy and never pretentious and seemed to be filled with locals (always a great sign). Last night might have been my first time visiting there but it’s far from my last. Congrats to all the crew at Heirloom for creating an amazing experience from front to back.

    This was our first time dining at Heirloom. We had a great overall experience celebrating my wife’s birthday. We were greeted with smiles and had our reservation ready. The service and the food was great! We will definitely come back to sample more of the menu!

    Heirloom has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened. Our dinner last night was another great experience. Our server, Zoe was attentive and answered our questions. Dinner, wine and dessert were delicious, as always. Already looking forward to the next visit.

    The food and service at Heirloom was outstanding. Definitely upscale and superior. We had oysters Rockefeller for our appetizer, and baby lamb chops and pealla for our main course. All were exquisite. Heirloom's decor is nicely done, sort of rustic with elegance. The ambience was very nice and quiet to the point you can carry on a nice conversation. Definitely a wonderful place to go for that special occasion.

    The food was fantastic. Our party enjoyed the scallop and the pork belly appetizers along with the She Crab soup. For entrees we had the lamb chops, the duck and the crab cakes. All were fantastic. For dessert we had the strawberry profiterole and lemon tart. I can’t wait to return. I wish the pork belly appetizer came as an entree portion. It was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever had.

    Was an amazing restaurant! We sat at a high top near the bar. Our server was amazing and you never went without anything. If your server was tied up another one would stop by to check in on you. I have never told the server to tell the chef how amazing the food was, but I did on this evening. All the food was incredible. Highly recommend the Whole Snapper!!!

    This was our first time at Heirloom. Our server, Zoey, was amazing. We asked her for the favorite dishes and she recommended the paella and the pork chop. They were both exceptional. I would definitely recommend Heirloom to any looking for a great place for dinner.

    Overall, very happy with the food, service, and atmosphere of the restaurant. We did receive some dirty silverware. I pointed this out to the waitress who immediately took care of it - no harm no foul in my opinion. The pork chop was by far the best I ever had! My family and I had a great time here and hope to be back again when we’re in town.

    The food was excellent and prepared to perfection. The service was good. The ambiance was not what you would expect in a restaurant with prices this high. It was extremely noisy and was like eating in a high school cafeteria. I guess I was expecting something a little more intimate. If you’re looking for quality food, and don’t mind paying top dollar, definitely go there. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet romantic dinner for two, you might want to keep looking.

    Our lamb chops took 3 tries before they were properly cooked to medium rare. The waitress and general manager were very attentive and accommodating. Manager offer to comp our meals which was great. Unfortunately our desert then came out burnt. Our previous experience two weeks prior was outstanding, good and service. How could the food preparation and quality deteriorate so quickly. We are unlikely to return anytime soon.

    We went to celebrate our anniversary. The hostess congratulated us on our anniversary and then proceeded to seat us in a high traffic area between several large groups next to the kitchen. Unfortunately the noise level was high that we could not have a conversation or hear the waitress. It was very uncomfortable for us to enjoy the meal as by trying to talk to my wife it made us feel like we were the center of attention between these larger groups seated at the booths all around us. Unfortunately I doubt we will be back again for any special occasion.

    This was a family celebration and Heirloom made it special. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were terrific. They greeted us with menus that said "Happy Birthday" and there was a card on the table as well. The menu is diverse and elevated - the roasted veggies were terrific, as was all the rest of the food.     It was our anniversary and they treated us beautifully. There was a card on the table congratulating us. We got a free dessert. Our waitress Kelly knew we were celebrating. Overall it was a fantastic evening and one will never forget. And we will be back.
