Heirloom - Midway Ratings and Reviews
This was our first visit to the Heirloom. It was recommended by a friend and a great choice for my wife's birthday. From the greeting at the door (Emma) to the service at the table it exceeded our expectations. I am sorry that I can't recall the name of the lady that served us. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and personable. The food presentation and taste were on point. You can be sure that we will return.
Are here for a second time on a trip to Georgetown, KY. Although crowded due to many holiday parties, the service was excellent and the food arrived in a timely fashion and well prepared. Some members of the party enjoyed the extensive selection of local Bourbons. Nice variety on the menu, all thoughtfully prepared with selections to please vegetarians. Would recommend the cheese board to share as an appetizer.
Very disappointing. I have been going to Heirloom for years. My recent visit was truly an upset. I won't be going back for a while. My burger was so undercooked, it was dangerous. My Father was kind enough to pretend his burger was good, when really it was undercooked as well. While my Father tried to endure his burger, I sat there and waited for my burger to be cooked more. Well, it finally came back and it was so overcooked that I could barely eat it. It also showed up with no mayonnaise, no knife and no lettuce, which it originally had on it. I then, waited again, for hem to bring those missing items to me. The server asked how it was and I could not help but be truthful. I told her it was waaaayy overcooked. She explained the stovetops were so hard to cook on and that the owner was in Mexico and the people in the kitchen could not control the grill. WOW!!!! Thanks Heirloom. I promise I'll come back. Make sure your restaurant is warm nd cozy before you disappoint your loyal patrons!!!!
This is a hidden gem in KY. It has to be one of the best restaurants in the state. The menu is innovative although not extensive and the food is excellent and well presented.
The service was excellent and friendly. Hanna had a great personality and engages in conversation if she sees it is welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Always enjoy Heirloom! Food is consistently good. Service this time was just ok. Told our server it was my husbands birthday and he could have cared less. Didn’t expect anything to be done but was just disappointed as we have celebrated life events here before.
Beet salad was incredible, the best that we have ever had. Very fresh. My beef tenderloin was on the same level. Perfectly cooked medium rare. My wife had the scallops, which were very good, but not great. We also ordered the cheese plate to start with. It would have been nice if they told us what cheeses were being offered, but they were still all delicious. The one downside was that we felt rushed. We went through 3 courses in just under an hour. It would have been more enjoyable had they timed everything out more appropriately.
Drove from Louisville to have lunch at Heirloom. Definitely worth the drive. Started with the butternut squash soup which was outstanding. I was all set to order the crab cake when I was told by another diner that Heirloom's fried chicken was the best. So I ordered it and was not disappointed. Boneless breast on top of mashed potatoes. Crunchy crust and juicy chicken. Highly recommend.
