Hectors was great as always. When I have gone in the past it has been packed. It was unusually quiet on this particular night. The service was great and the food was great too as always.

Hector's is a large, very conveniently located restaurant. The food was excellent with large portions! About 3/4 of the way through our lunch, a huge party (about 25) was seated long the middle next to our booth so conversation became impossible without shouting, and even then we had a difficult time hearing each other. Once they group came in, our server "disappeared" consumed by the demands of waiting on so many. We had to track her down to get our bills and then wait for them to be collected. While I'm sure not a usual occurrence, it still made for an unpleasant end to our luncheon. When we exited through the bar, it was like getting our hearing back - it was so pleasantly quiet! It would have been nice to have been offered to be reseated in there!!

Hectors is getting ready to close it's doors and I guess that means that they don't worry what their service is like. Very disappointing; the service was in the past very good. The food was good but it was overshadowed by our poor service. And we were there for a birthday celebration which the waitress blew off completely.

We appreciated that Hector's was open on Thanksgiving--all those working at Hector's gave up their holiday dinner so that we could forego cooking ourselves! They did it in good cheer, and the food was delicious.

We took our daughter and her husband to dinner . We guys ordered hamburgers , they said the burgers were delicious. We order a chicken and a beef entree that were equally delicious!

Had Sunday brunch with friends and had a great time - the crab benedict was amazing - as was the poinsetta mimosa! Would totally return for a breakfast or brunch!
