Excellent service even at 9 pm on a Friday. All dishes very good. Price was great for the food. Portions were correct. Fries, strawberry milkshake, and Brie appetizer were outstanding. It had been many years since I had been there but my family will be heading back repeatedly! Do not change!!!!

Fun Friday evening on Heck’s sidewalk patio, one of our favorite spots on a warm summer night. Quality of food and drinks was excellent as always. Service was disappointing, we saw our server when she took our order and when she brought the check—she never checked to see how our meal was or if we wanted another drink. Other tables were being serviced, and we were pretty much ignored. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience, and look forward to our next visit.

Great place for a late weekend lunch! We ate on the patio and enjoyed both the food & drinks as well as the charming atmosphere. Our out-of-town friends loved it also! Flatbread, pierogis and rosemary garlic fries were outstanding, as was our server.

Reserved a table 2 months ahead for Mother's Day. Seated for 15 minutes no waiter, I had to go to the hostess and tell them. The table behind us was seated AFTER us and were served immediately. Waiter claimed they didn't tell him we were seated (but he walked by us a few times in the 15 minutes we were waiting. The starter plate took about 20-25 to arrive. Then out main orders took another 25 minutes and it was COLD!! UGH What's worse is that he didn't come back to ask us if we wanted refills on our drinks. Tip was cut by less than half! It was the worst. And on top of that it wasn't that busy so no excuses.

I ordered the Sea Bass and enjoyed the light crust on the fish. It especially paired well with the bed pesto couscous. My wife enjoyed her favorite burger, which is an automatic win.

We sat at a very awkward table in the middle of the room underneath the cold air vent . Our server never checked on us after our app or when our food came out. Food was delicious. After dinner I asked to see a drink menu for an after dinner cocktail , then when the server came back he asked if we wanted the check. So we cashed out & had cocktails somewhere else. Over all , delicious food and nice atmosphere. Wish our server was a little more attentive.

Our entire family went to celebrate my son’s birthday. The food was delicious, generous portions. The atmosphere was a nice, casual. It was a little noisy, Sunday lunch, but nothing crazy. Our server was great! She was very helpful regarding menu questions, she kept everyone’s glasses full and cleared dirty dishes promptly. I thought the prices were reasonable. We had a great time and will definitely return.

Sunday brunch time is very-busy -- plan for that and you're OK. Staff courtesy, capability, efficiency and responsiveness are outstanding characteristics that are prevalent here and to be commended above all else, even the menu. Food is very-good and delivery is spot on quick/fast. Heck's appears to be a well-oiled business "machine" of great customer care and organizational supremacy.

Went for Sunday brunch. The Brie appetizer was delicious. From there, it was somewhat downhill. The breakfast potatoes were over cooked and lukewarm. Eggs were okay. Toast was cold and not buttered. Desserts were fabulous. Like I said, just a so-so experience. Not what I expected.

For some reason they had the bartender as our server. She was making drinks for the entire restaurant so it seemed she didn't have time to service us. On 3 separate occasions, a server had to get her to come to our table (for water refills, condiments, and place settings)

We have had many wonderful meals at HECKS. The food is always innovative and delicious. We were there early before the rush yesterday. The waitress was very friendly and talkative, perhaps too talkative. When we ordered something, she asked why we would pay $14 for melted cheese. We had enjoyed the Brie before so we ordered it anyways. When it came out, it was about 45 minutes into service, and must have sat under the warmer, because it was NOT melted. My daughter ordered a Pomegranate drink and the waitress told her she is paying too much for water and sugar. She then said they didn't have things on the menu which is hard for serving staff and they are so short staff she worked a 13 hour shift and is tired. At first we thought it was very nice of her to "warn" us of something not very good on the menu, although it was odd. When it came to ordering, my daughter ordered a burger, in which she said that that particular one gets sent back alot....so she ordered The Chicken Caesar and the HECKS fries appetizer. The waitress told us not to get the appetizer. It was like she wanted the money we saved to go towards her tip and it was not comfortable. We got the Brie and we waited another half hour for our food in which the waitress came back out to ask us what we ordered. She had lost our order. When I ordered the bolognese (AGAIN) she told me that I would need to add salt and pepper because it never tastes like anything. We told her we were in a rush and had 2 hours for dinner, but it was already 1 hour 45 without our food. She told us it would be 5 minutes.....We got our food and had to put it in boxes to go by the time it came out and didn't have time for dessert. It is NO fault of the restaurant.....but I think you need to know that you have servers out there giving too much personal opinion and are unhappy there, which was too evident in our dining experience. On a good note, the food warmed up wonderfully & was enjoyed as leftovers

Went for Sunday brunch and was seated quickly at a nice outdoor patio table. Our Server was Excellent- friendly & efficient l. The short rib Benedict was ok - muffin was grilled & burnt, sauce & eggs perfect. Potatoes were fried chunks and not edible. French toast for kids was burnt. Omelette was cooked perfect. Valued Brie app was Excellent. Could have used a little more bread - only came with 1 slice of toast & hard crackers. Would definitely recommend for Excellent service and good food.

Great food with offerings that satisfy diverse palettes and ages (had 3 generations together). Service was attentive but not overbearing. A little loud in main dining area, so it was difficult to hear our conversations because we had a longer table, but still had a great time. Would definitely return.
