    This was quite the ‘road trip’ experience for us from the UK. It was nice to share in a quality restaurant which served something just ‘a little different!’ You can only eat so much fast food, (which we try to avoid) Amazing surroundings and charming and attentive staff. Food cooked fresh and beautifully presented. Thank you .

    Once again the Heartland provided us with a fabulous experience, celebrating a milestone birthday with our friends from out of town. Natasha gave us excellent service, the food was delicious and the atmosphere perfect!

    The food is alright, I wouldn’t write home about it. I went to the restaurant when it was located in Bridgeland in Calgary and the food was amazing! At this location, i found the food a bit bland and the soup I had was really salty (opposite to everything else we had here). The service was ok, although our server tended to lean towards having an attitude it bus so we weren’t super impressed. I think k the striking feature of this cafe is the ambience of the building they have created… the history and the decor. It really adds to the experience of eating here. I think it’s a great
