Heartland Brewery Chophouse

We arrived on time for our reservations and they were honored immediately. There was a long wait for walk in clientele, so we were pleased. Service was prompt and we were able to get additional drinks when we wanted. We were not rushed to finish up. This location was very convenient to the Town Hall Theater where we were headed.
Service was efficient and friendly. Food was good as to be expected in a pub. Beer was about average if you are a beer person
I had the salmon it was over cooked. Serve never came to table too see if your food was good.
Our service was awful and you could tell everyone there felt they same. Your sat so close to someone when there are so many open tables that your uncomfortable. The food was ok, I got the buffalo chicken salad. I wanted more ranch but no one ever came back not even to refill our class until 20 minutes later by then we were done. We felt rushed and neglected.
Very expensive. Recommend tip was $58 for a $290 bill. Didn’t take off the free drinks tokens until asked and then only took off the cheapest not the ones on the voucher. Waitress tried to up sale at every occasion. No veggie options, and when we picked a pasta dish and asked for the shrimp/crab to be removed as a veggie choice, was still charged the full $23 price and didn’t offer to replace with a veggie choice. Eg cheese mushroom or vegetables.
Excellent service close to Times Square and Broadway.
Beer and drink selection was great! Loved the fried pickle appetizer. The variety of the menu was nice and dessert was yummy! Would recommend - especially before a show at the Sondheim Theatre.
Food okay, not great. Service perfunctory. Noise over the top. Called fine dining: humph!
arrived after matinee (4:45 PM) before other theatergoers arrived. Service was good, food came out very fast... the drinks were good...spent a little more than average because we had 3 cocktails plus 3 glasses of win and 1 large beer (for 2 ppl). ..that's almost $90.00 right there..but that was the plan and had a good time...never did it get crowded for me to feel our waiter was overwhelmed and i=gnoring us...that service is as important (almost anyway) as the food....LOL
It was great for what we wanted. Love their pretzels! Services very friendly
Food was good, but the bar keep did not know how to pour a pint of the Farmer John's Oatmeal Stout. It came with a 3" head and by the time it settled, my pint was missing almost an inch of beer. We went for lunch and had one beer apiece, with an 18% tip the bill averaged $37 per person.
good for the theater and great sweet potato fries
Excellent outstanding waiter and drinks were great. We’ll Definitely go back manyby
Great location if attending a Broadway show. Meal was reasonably priced. Plenty to eat and service was excellent.
We made an 11 PM reservation for dinner after a show. We arrived at 1045 and were told the restaurant was closed.
We were going to the theater across the street. Was extremely convenient. Service was great. Food was great!
Great Fried Pickle Spears!!!! Delicious Burgers, the service was wonderful
great. good food, quick service, friendly customers, good value
My party of five arrived at Heartland Chophouse about 5:30pm, in order to make it to our theatre showing. We were seated immediately, and we had a very attentive server. We each had an appetizer, an entree, and two beers...with the total about $300, not bad for a midtown restaurant. We all found our meals quite good, and the appetizers tasty. The music was a bit odd (late 70's disco-synth pop!) but the atmosphere was very relaxed and congenial.
WE HAD A NICE AND RELAXED TIME. LOVED THE CRAFT BEER SELECTION.
We ate lunch there and had burgers and the fried pickle spears. The food was good and service was great. Will definitely go back.
The food was fine and came out fast but the staff was not friendly or helpful and seemed irritated that we were even there.
The beer was not very cold ,
Perfect for after theatre right across the street. No wait, good food and quick service!
Best Burger we’ve ever had. The bison burger outstanding!!
The burgers were amazing-- one of the best burgers I've ever had. The service was kind of spotty.
Good food, casual atmosphere and great service. Very friendly waitress who was also very good at her job. The food was average in taste, but nicely presented. Small portion of pasta dish was disappointing, however, especially for the price. Still fun to go to with a group though!
Great service and the food was good if not great. Pricey but it's New York so.....
Food is ok and service is just basic, nothing special. For a simple pre theatre meal it’s fine however if you’re looking for a great dining experience, this is not the place.
We were there on a Monday - wings and onion rings for the app tasted great but were over cooked, burgers were good, nothing special, cheese cake was great. The service was excellent - our waiter was very personable and showed up exactly when we needed him, but not too much.
The food was very good. We both had the petit filet mignon, I with French fries and my companion with mashed potatoes, which were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. This restaurant is a little gem in the theater district.
Do not go to this restaurant!! Within 18 hours of paying out tab here, our credit card number was used to attempt to purchase $1500 at Bergdorf Goodman's. Food was just ok.
Went there for a 55th birthday party. Not only did I write a note on open table for Chophouse but I specifically CALLED and spoke to a woman (wish I had taken the name) on the day of arrival (1/12) asking to please make sure a piece of cheesecake WITH a candle goes to the table after dinner regardless of whether the party ordered dessert or not. The purpose was so his children could sing Happy Birthday to their Dad. I was SO disappointed to hear this did NOT happen even after I made the followup call!
The food was okay, the service was okay, but nothing stood out that would make me come back or recommend it.
Im vorderen Bereich kann die Musik sehr laut sein.
Service sehr freundlich!
Perfect spot to grab lunch before a matinee or dinner before an evening performance. Diverse menu. reasonably priced. Nice and very attentive staff.
The food was ok. For the prices, I was hoping it would be better. Our waiter was amazing but the servers and bus boy were rude. I found this place on opentable after reading some reviews
We visited on a Thursday night. I got the pulled pork sandwich and an IPA beer. The beer was ok. The pulled pork was not good at all. The fries were the best part of my meal.
I was with 5 others, they said their meals were good.
The waitress was just ok... she wasn’t the friendliest. Missed a drink order at the beginning & my wife’s entree came out about 5 minutes after all the others but no one said anything when the other entrees were delivered. We weren’t sure if it was forgotten or just taking longer, but it did show up then.
