Great vibe, good drinks, good food. Service was a bit slow, especially considering that we told our server that we needed to be out the door in 2 hours (which we thought would be plenty of time). But all in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Amazing steak sandwich! Lovely food served quickly. Staff were a little quiet which wasnt what we were expecting but overall the meal was amazing!
Great service. Delicious food and cheesecake.
It's a great casual place for a group of 6-8 people.....tables are large, service is great, and the food is very good for a casual after work spot
Had to be at the theater early. Great burgers and great beer.
Excellent as always! A go-to for us when we see a Broadway show!
Stopped for dinner at Heartland Brewery between parts 1 & 2 of the Cursed Child, which was convenient due to the close proximity of the theater. Service was fantastic. The food on their menu fit my wife and my low-carb lifestyle very well. My 7 year old son, who is a "slow-eater," finished his kids' burger and fries in record time, which told us he REALLY enjoyed his meal. My wife and I started with the Buffalo Spring Rolls, very tasty, and we both had salad entrees, Chicken Caesar and Buffalo Chicken, respectively. I only tried their Stout, but it was delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to avoid the chains in the theater district/Time Square. Heartland is going to be on my list of restaurants to go to whenever we are seeing a Broadway show. I'm looking forward to visiting again when we have more time and trying one of their steaks.
The food was great as well as the staff. Food came out pretty quick. Great location!
We’ve been multiple times, but this time service wasn’t up to par. We were there around 5pm, and our waiter wasn’t very accommodating. As we order, he says he’s unable to ring up the “prix fixe” menu and it would take a while. Besides that he was rather short and inattentive.
Got a nice table with room and our waiter was professional. Real beef and burger place, burger was delish; fish and chips was so-so. Enjoyed the home brewed beer Voyage that we split then got a pint of our favorite.
Average food, salads are small for the price. Burger is good but buns and toppings are just average. Overall, slow service from waiter and kitchen and restaurant was half full on a Friday night.
The service was very disappointing. It took almost 15 minutes after we were seated to be acknowledged. We didn’t even have an opportunity to order a drink and then order our food he rushed us along and wanted our food order right then and there with our drinks. He never came back to ask how the food was. Our drinks were empty and he never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We then had to flag him down to get him to bring us our bill he was very disconnected with us. He didn’t even seem like he could care less. It had such good reviews but I will never go back now after that experience!
Try the buffalo chicken spring rolls! Good beer selection, love the Voyage of Beer.
Great place for a quick bite before a Broadway show! Had a great server Bradley D who was not only fantastic, but also got my wife and me a great surprise with our meal!
Salmon and her marinaded chicken were wonderful.
Great beer choices & the atmosphere was low key for Times Square (exactly what we were looking for) The best fried pickles! You must get them!
Overall decent place. The service was decent enough.
The steak was terrible. I asked for it medium-rare and it came out well past we’ll done . You can find better food in Times Square for the same price
The organic chicken with avocado and coleslaw was amazing!
Very pleasant atmosphere, great food reasonably priced. Our waiter was awesome! Got us in & out in time for our show.
Server was pleasant and very attentive! Food was good, not a lot of menu options. Was an early pre-show dinner and the place was not too full.
Supposed to be a brewery which is why we made the reservation- had 2 beers on tap out of the 7 or 8 they advertise to brew. We are huge beer fans-visited 55 breweries alone last year and it was very disappointing. We tried the mixed beers (beer with raspberry liquor and beer with cider) they were so gross we left them more than half full- waiter didn't ask one time why we didn't drink them. Food was extremely overpriced for what it was-basic burger & small fish & chips plus 2 beers cost us about $80. Would never go again or suggest to a friend.
Ordered two filet mingion, was given one and a different flat steak, both were overcooked. Waiter said flat steak was filet but cut differently (obviously a lie)
My boyfriend and I had a great time at Heartland. It was our first visit but it won’t be the last. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We had the strip steak sandwich and the fish and chips both were delicious and the portions were big! The bar scene was hopping and it was a nice way to end the week. There were tourists as well as Nyers and we all had a great time.
I went last year and it was great. I went again, told friends how good it was and come to find out they changed the menu. The first time I was there I ordered the Buffalo Cobb salad, it was great and worth every penny. This time I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad (which I thought was the same thing) and they come out with a small bowl of lettuce with two burnt chicken tenders dipped in Buffalo sauce on top for $18.00. I was shocked and really embarrassed after telling my guests how great this place was. Won't be returning.
Not worth the money and menu was just awful
Just love their food! Great go to place in NYC
Service was excellent!!!!
Service was good. Food was good. Our beers were warm. We asked for fresh ones but 2nd round, was still warm. Draft system wasn’t working well. Waiter was pleasant. We had a good time.
Nice restaurant. This has become part of our annual Christmas tradition when we meet our niece and her two children in the city for the day. After a long day of walking all over the city, this is a great spot to sit and relax and chat. Good service and good food. I would recommend reservations
We were 15 minutes late and when we arrived the hostess said our reservation was cancelled. We ask to speak with manager who quickly seated us. Service was great. Food was very good. We will be coming back
My expectations for a Times Square restaurant are high price, but decent food. The food, all plates, were disappointing. Very small bricks for a crab cake dinner. Fish tacos are crunchy shell filled with iceberg lettuce and small fried piece of fish, mostly batter. Look elsewhere.
The service was very good but my salad was not good
Nothing particularly special about the menu. Service was spotty, food was basic and a bit bland. Good enough for a quick lunch.
Beautiful ambiance and unbelievable service. I got the fish tacos which were delicious, my family got the Chop House special burger and I should have gotten that because it was the best burger any of us have ever eaten. We'll be going back this winter when we have tickets to a show.
Great place for a casual bite and some great brews! Right in the heart of Times Square and a perfect place when you need a break from all the hustle and bustle of NYC. Seated right away with our reservation and very attentive service.
Good overall. A solid choice, plus we arrived early for our reservation on a very busy day & we were seated, no problem.
A complete overpriced rip off!
Even the Farmer John is not what is was.
We used to be frequent visitors when HB was opposite the new York Times. We enjoyed the beer and food. Now we stick to our memories.
The new HB is a disaster - to spec with No. 45
