Located in a historic, 135-year-old Victorian home in the heart of Breckenridge, the Hearthstone Restaurant has been a locals' favorite since 1989 for wild game, fresh seafood, and hand-cut steaks all creatively prepared by our talented culinary team.

Our extensive and reasonably priced wine list has received the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" annually since 1997.

Reservations are for dinner service. Happy hour is first come, first served on the patio and in our Victorian Lounge. We look forward to serving you and your guests.

I have been to Hearthstone twice in last 12 weeks and many times over the years. Jan meal was exceptional along with service and table choice. This time around lamb (best last time) was fatties, bison was also high in fat. Kind of disappointed because last visit was awesome.

The Hearthstone was perfect as usual. We sat at the upstairs bar for happy hour. I had a Mezcal Negroni, my daughter had a strawberry and serrano pepper mule. Both were excellent. We shared the sweet potato toast, jalapeno shrimp and Tikka chicken appetizers. All were excellent. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding, one of the best we've had. Benji, the bartender is skilled, friendly and knowledgeable beyond expectation. You can't go wrong here.

Impeccable! Really interesting creative menu, great wine list, professional server, lovely pace to the meal. They really think of everything. We were three and we wanted to share our three starters - one of which was an amazing soup - they served us three small bowls. That may not seem like a big deal but we could all enjoy the soup at the same time while it was hot! Just one of many lovely touches during a great meal.

The service was wonderful! Except for the Colorado Lamb entree, the other entrees are limited. The happy hour shrimp and meatballs were excellent but the cheese plate was way to small for the price (even at happy hour pricing). For those who love LAMB Hearthstone serves the best!

This was our second trip to Hearthstone and we were afraid it could never live up to our first meal there...and it did!!! Food quality, imagination of pairings, and superb service make it a true fine dining experience. The Lamb, Elk, and Coulette steak were ridiculously good!!! We will be back every trip to Breck!!

visiting and took a chance on site. We were not disapointed. From the greeting at teh door, and somehow managing to move our reservation up. A really great old house revamped to an upscale dining venue. Wait staff attentive and very knowledgeable-- perhaps the best entree (ono and black rice) that I have had in years highly recommended

Reservations are necessary. Busy place. Hostess did a great job getting us a table suitable for our evening. Service was excellent. Food was perfect! My wife had the scallops, I had the Elk. Don't miss the mussels appetizer if they have it!

Loved our evening here! Zack was knowledgeable and friendly. Our Lobster Raviola was the better of the two apps and all entrees were solid. Culotte steak, Lamb Chef’s special and Seafood Trio. Love the quaint/ historic interiors and Victorian building. A special place!

Amazing experience. We covered most of the menu with our party of 6 and each dish was absolutely delicious. We also were so fortunate to have the upstairs table in the front with a stunning view. 2 years in a row best meal of our vacay!

We were seated at the very end and in a corner upstairs in a nook on the left - far away from the main areas of the restaurant. I asked for a change and the waitress refused to change. I said well I cannot take this table since we are here for the ambiance as well. This is our second time dining at the restaurant and did not have this issue earlier. The waitress just walked away leaving us waiting at the table until another person walked up to us and reseated us on the main floor. We saw multiple families walk in after us being seated well. It was only 5 PM and we had such a terrible experience. Cody our waiter was great. However when we were leaving the hostesses gave us no smiles, nothing- except grim looks. I said thank you for reseating us and left. NEVER coming back here again and a simple dinner costing us $260. There are multiple restaurant options at breck and no one deserves this kind of service.
