I like her as a restaurant. Employees there are very friendly and very cooperative and making sure that you get what you ask for. I do see some mistakes sometimes which I won’t get into, but they are quick to correct these mistakes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and They will definitely see me darkening their doorstep in time.

During Covid everything is slower. It was nearly an hour to get fed which is ok but muppets breakfast was cold but my husbands was hot . So hit and miss. Service was slow but okay. We will go back again because the food was good and they have a lot of outdoor seating,

Took over an hour to get brunch served. Waiter kindly explained new chef/kitchen staff. They were nice in offering a drink on the house while we waited. Food was not very hot when we did get it. Potatoes and chicken sausage dry. Nice outdoor seating area. Kind staff.

Hearth was fantastic! The outside seating was SO perfect for my first dinner since the COVID lockdown. The tables were perfectly spaced. The menu was online and accessible with a QR code. Service was amazing and the food was perfect. We had the crab fritters for an appetizer and salmon and fried chicken sandwiches for our entrees. We'll be back. Thank you!

The food was phenomenal! But for only having two seated tables, the service was extremely slow. We were there for about 2.5 hours and only eating for about 20 min. Spent so much time waiting to order or with empty plates. The food itself was fast, but not the service. Highly recommend the mushroom pizza!

Chicken and mushroom pizzas were both great! Half price bottles of wine Tuesday to Thursday was a nice surprise and the list has some great wines. Only complaint was the bottle we ordered had not been refrigerated and had to sit in ice to get cold. Stocking issue most likely.

New chef is putting out some great food! The crispy chicken sandwich was amazing and we love the traditional French omelet. Only feedback is to train new servers to know the menu better. When service is excited about the food it goes a long way!

The time and effort put into executing on the new regulations really shows. All staff have masks and gloves. Reservation times are stagered, tables reduced. It's slso in the little things like the offer of personal hand sanitizer as you are seated and the pen in a little plastic bag. It makes you feel just a little more at ease during this time and is appreciated greatly. Thank you!

We dined at Hearth during COVID-19 Phase 1.5. They did a great job taking steps to minimize our risk. All the staff wore masks and they provided sanitizer for the table.
Food was great. The server was very attentive. We have had slow service in the past, but everything was great this time.
We were on the patio which was nice because of the warm weather. It was a bit noisy though since we were at the end near the intersection of Kirkland and 3rd.

We popped in here after our son had an activity at the Kirkland Performance Center, not expecting much, but appreciating the proximity to the venue. Wow we were surprised! It was fairly empty, which didn't bode well, but then every bite was just delicious, as were the cocktails. Our server was super engaging in quizzing my son on his Spanish vocabulary and was a delight. We will be back!

Sadly I was so disappointed in Hearth in several ways. The staff were great friendly and happy to see you. the ambiance wasn't, too open and clinical. The frittata was way overcooked and tasteless that I barely touched mine. I was a frequent guess at Trellis for many years where the food was outstanding ambiance great and always looked forward to returning with friends on a regular basis.
I don't like the change and do not intent on returning.
I do however want to say a Thank you to our server Kobe who was great, you have a good server in him

In all fairness it was Valentine’s Day and I don’t think they were prepared for serving full course Valentine’s Day dinner and their full menu. The staff was polite but seemed of the food was good good quality but not fantastic if you were staying at the Heathman Hotel it is not a bad choice

Had the ribeye, which was good, but a bit overpriced imo, service was attentive, staff friendly. Not memorable but nice.

I was hoping for a great evening out with my daughter and husband to celebrate Valentine's Day and booked a reservation at Hearth on line. When we arrived a bit early, they were super nice but there was a bit of confusion and we were basically told they were "squeezing us in" on a really busy night...what? We have a reservation. Then, no where in the reservation portal did it say anything about a set menu. Both my husband and I have many dietary restrictions and the menu was not conducive to our needs. They did allow me to order something from their regular menu but the choices were few and far between. The food was average. The service...what to say about the service...inexperienced in professionalism. Told the table next to us that she would be with them shortly but she had to deal with "their (our) dietary issues". She didn't understand the menu or our restrictions. It took 30 minutes between the first course and the second course and when we asked if we could get the second course she kind of snapped at us that the kitchen was working on it. She tried charging me the set menu price for my little dinner salad ($75 for a salad...better have gold nuggets in it). She did apologize and said that she made a mistake but if we hadn't said anything I doubt it would have been rectified. I really thought this was going to be a nice dinner in a nice setting...I was quite disappointed.

The restaurant did not seem to be overly busy but the staff struggled. We waited for about 10 minutes to be greeted, when we were taken to our table, the wait staff were confused on who was looking after our table. Our mains were brought ahead of our starter and the waitress seemed confused that this was an issue for us. The food was okay, small menu but pricey for a hotel restaurant.
Better that Trellis that preceded it, but that sets the bar pretty low. Food was OK, service has potential if staff are trained properly. As it was, service was pretty amateurish. Example: Server came by and saw our wine glasses empty and encouraged us to "serve yourselves".
Great location, so huge potential IMO.

On a lazy Sunday evening we wanted a light supper in a relaxed, quiet atmosphere and Hearth worked perfectly. My husband had a burger and I ordered the sausage pizza. We both enjoyed our food and I had enough pizza for another meal the next day. One problem was my husband’s draft beer which he said didn’t taste right. It was taken off our bill.

Third time going to the Hearth hoping it would improve, as it is in a great part of Kirkland. Will not return. Once again, the service was mediocre, small portions of food for the price, food AGAIN was served with 5 minute gaps between main courses being served. Tried to order coffee at the end of the meal, but was presented with the bill and my request was repeatedly ignored; the server instead waited for payment of the bill. I felt, again, as though my space was needed for the next party since we were not ordering dessert or after dinner drinks. We were there barely an hour, having a show to see at KPC that evening. Overall, great potential that continues to disappoint.

Have eaten here many times and keep hoping they will get a better chef. The drinks are outstanding and service good while food is inconsistent and ambiance is more like a Denny’s. Loud, uncomfortable seating and too bright with tables lined up in rows. The food is either undercooked, over seasoned, or the acidity level of dressings is off. Go for a drink but there are much better restaurants in Kirkland.
New Years Eve dinner at Hearth. Overall very good experience.
Our New Years eve plans were ruined at the last minute due to the restaurant's poor communication. I received a call at 1 pm New Years eve that the restaurant would only be serving the price fixed menu at $120 pp in the dining room. We were given the option to commit to this or cancel our reservation. Upon request, I was given a reserved table in the bar instead but the food choices there were so limited we opted to seek out a different restaurant. Finding a last minute reservation on New Years is nearly impossible and could have been avoided if we were notified of the dining changes in advance, especially since I had made the reservation two weeks prior. I am really disappointed that Hearth made no effort to make things right after spoiling our plans.
I also want to notify prospective diners that this was the second occasion that our reservation has been dismissed here. In mid November we were also called on the same day as our reservation to let us know that the dining room would not be available due to a private function. At that time we opted to eat from the bar on the patio.
It is now apparent that the management is not committed to honoring reservations, and you may not receive the hospitality you would hope for here.
Order the cheese cracklings! Cramazing. The short rib comes with a flintstone bone. The Cod is so perfect. Victor the bartender is amazing. Super knowledgeable and it turns out most of the cool serving items and decor at the bar are from his own collection. Fun night.
We’ve been coming to this location on Christmas eve for the last 5 years. It’s under different management in 2019 but the food was even better. Service has always been good. We prefer sitting in the “outside” area which is more private and is enclosed and heated and have always been comfortable because we were seated near the main door. This year we sat farther away from the main door and It was much cooler. I would have worn my coat throughout the meal if I had thought to bring it. So, if you go in winter and choose to sit “outside” because they tell you it gets really warm, be forewarned it can be downright chilly in some spots. Overall a terrific meal with good service.
Wait staff was attentive and helpful. 4 out of 5 of us enjoyed our meal.
Pizza was disappointing.
Noise level was higher than anticipated.
We had a great Holiday Tea at Hearth. The only complaint we had was that they marketed Cocktails in teapots and we were excited. When we were at the tea, we were notified that nothing had been prepared for that but, our server Jason and gave us a complimentary beverage, so how could we continue to be disappointed? Great job Hearth, your Santa was warm and entertaining too.
