wonderful food. portions on the NY Strip was small, otherwise a great meal.
Nice spot. Very quiet on a Monday night. Took great care of our large group. Weak wine list.
I was very excited about this place, as it's really right up our alley in theory. Unfortunately, my husband's steak was well done, when he asked for it medium rare. And the service was slow as all get out. It took them a good 20 minutes to get us our first round of drinks. Overall, just very very slow - over an hour to get our entrees. Good in concept, but they really have some kinks to work out to make it worth the price.
This is a very beautiful restaurant with excellent service. My family and I came here on a Sunday, and they only serve the brunch menu on this day. I had the best Peach Bellini, and their bacon cinnamon bun was a hit. My husband had the chicken and waffles which was okay. I ordered the shrimp and grits, but it was very non-traditional. The flavors were great but the grits came in cubes that look like fried tofu. I lived in the south for several years so I was really hoping for a more traditional take on the grits. Overall, however, it's a great place. I would try other things on their menu if we go back.
Great atmosphere and service. Steak was excellent and the sides were fresh and from scratch as well. A great vibe and offering for dinner.
John was a wonderful server. Coming from the find dining service industry myself , I will say everything was done well! The ambiance, food presentation, quality and of course service was on point. We enjoy all of our dishes and truly enjoyed our server. Great place to host events, dinner dates and business meetings. Thank you team for a great experience 🙏🏻❤️
A great place to eat and I would visit again. Please note I went on a Monday night with a baseball game in town so I suspect things may be a little more lively if I went in on a Thursday or Friday night.
Food was good. Only 1 waiter for the dining area. Dirty knife. All in all, good restaurant.
Great atmosphere with a fun, energetic vibe. Excellent service. Loved the mussels and the lamb.
Great service and food. Noisy at times with high ceilings being main issue. Absolutely coming back. Found a gem!
Such a great place to drink and eat with someone you want to enjoy. Loved every minute
Completely overpriced for what you get. Sure the atmosphere I asked it for it medium and it was easily mid-well. Rookie mistake when you're charging that much. Service was average at best and the server provided little to no insight on the menu other than informing us that "everything is fantastic"...if you say so. Way too many Excellent restaurants in Denver at way more reasonable prices to ever go back here. I expect Morton's level of service & food when spending that kind of $...not the completely average experience we received. I'd go to Sullivan's, Morton's, Elways, Capital Grille, even Ruth's Chris, before I'd ever go to Hearth & Dram. A swing & a miss.
Food and service was great! Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
Date night with my wife, this place is great for that but would also be wonderful for small, mid, and large sized groups. It is attached to the Indigo Hotel so would even by a good spot for an evening stay downtown if so desired. Great food and service, very pleased.
Reunion date with friends
I felt like we were pleasantly surprised by everything we had, and it all exceeded expectation. The Oxford Comma is bright and such a fun play on whisky cocktails. My filet melted like butter and my only regret was not ordering the larger size! The hazelnut in the buffalo mozzarella was heaven. And the lamb chop was the best we've ever had. Truly a new favorite.
It was a great place for a date night. We had an amazing server. The food was pretty limited. I feel like for the price, it was a bit underwhelming. Not a very big selection. The mussels and the wine were the best parts of our meal. Should have just stuck with that and not wasted time on the entrees.
One of the best NY strips I’ve ever had, great service and ambiance, great place to try!
Incredible service and food
I would definitely recommend Hearth & Dram to friends, and I will be back. The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. The staff was great, and I must say that the manager (Jose) took the time to check on us and make some recommendations. Looking forward to coming back.
We absolutely loved the atmosphere full of classic rock, delicious whiskey cocktails, and exquisite steaks and creative starters.
Great service ! Place is mostly empty which is odd cause it’s good food but other than that quality of food and service is consistent and great
Great decore and service. Best dinner in Denver. Group of six and every single dish was surprising and delishous!
Overall, a Wonderful dining experience. The beverages were spot on and clean. No muddled flavors here. Barney was attentive and educated. The team was there for anything we needed. A definite Recommend.
Our server was spot on. The food was very well thought out for Mothers Day.
Loved it for Mother's Day Brunch. We would go there way more often if they had brunch every weekend!
Very average meal and service
We shared the shisito peppers which were amazing. The mozzarella with bruschetta which was ok. Had the fettuccine which was marginal and over cooked. Cute place though. A little weird to hear Stairway to Heaven on the speakers during a business dinner. Totally overpriced.
I read the mixed reviews but we went anyway and we had mixed results. We started with the pretzel which was really good and came with a cheese dip. We sort of wanted to order another appetizer but nothing jumped out at us. We really wanted a salad to share among the three of us. The filet's were really good and cooked perfectly. The pork chop was done well over the wood fire. We ordered the smashed potato's which were good and enough for the three of us. We probably wouldn't order the broccolini next time. The Blondie and ice cream dessert was very good and the donut holes were average. The service was extremely slow. From the time we ordered dinner to when it arrived was probably close to an hour. The waiter apologized several times but no compensation was offered. The restaurant was not that busy so I'm not sure what the delay was. We were seated near the kitchen which didn't seem very busy. I suspect they intentionally delay dinner so that drinks will be ordered. We were confused by the decor...is it modern or old fashioned with the old medicine bottles and other antique nick knacks. Glad we tried it but we probably won't be running back.
This was a great restaurant. Our waitress was amazing. The food was delicious with a lovely presentation. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal. It is also a wonderful place to take friends or business associates. And if you like whiskey, this is the place! What a bar selection. The only thing I wish they would do is get real red wine glasses.
Went here for my birthday dinner in Nov 2018 and had an amazing experience. Just went back for a second go to see if it was just as good as I remember and it soooo was! If you enjoy a good steak and some savory sides, this is a must try. Shared the 33oz Tbone with two friends , and a few sides and it was a perfect meal. The way they smoke(?) this particular steak makes all the flavors explode ! Delicious! I guess it's known for it's Whiskey bar selection too, although I'm not a whiskey drinker but the ambiance is also a plus! Love , love, love!
We were visiting from Atlanta and wanted to go out for a nice dinner while we were here. We were blown away by some of the most incredible food and service we have ever had. (And that's saying something because we all work in the industry) Chef Chris Sanders blew us away with a beautiful 5 course meal that left us arguing over which course was the best. The drinks were perfect compliments to the food, and the service was exactly what we wanted. This will be a stop every time we come to Denver.
All of our meals were amazing! We were celebrating a birthday and we were so pleased with the "extras" Highly recommend!!!
Best pretzel we have ever had! I enjoyed my spaghetti western cocktail- I was told it is booze forward but I happen to love whiskey so didn’t think it was too stiff at all- went down nice and smooth
Amazing food and service, great ambiance & drinks
Awesome happy hour. The food was amazing. Burger on HH menu was incredible. Beet gnocchi was tasty along w the cool presentation of pretzel w cheese dipping sauce.
The breakfast options were limited. Further, what they had was very picked over and there was an unwillingness to replenish the options. The food that was available was good.
Great food, efficient service, wonderful date night pick
Food was delicious, service was lackluster.
