My daughter ordered the salmon it was over cooked the shrimp where dry
My food as well the buffalo shrimp where hard almost like if they where recook
I brought to the waitress attention
nothing was done.
Not impress with the food service
Jonathan was our server and he did a fantastic job! My daughter turned 16 this past weekend and he treated her like a princess. All of our food was amazing. I personally ordered the jumbo shrimp and grits and WOW...it was delicious! The red snapper had incredible flavor and although I'm not a huge fan of salmon...it actually tasted really good as well. I would definitely come back. I would refer any of my friends and family to try out this awesome restaurant. Keep up the good work, guys!
Terrific food and service! Wonderful experience during Houston Restaurant Weeks.
Our server Gabriel was so nice and attentive. The hostess was amazing at helping me modify my reservation. I will definitely be back!
We booked the Houston Restaurant Week brunch for 11:15am on a Sunday. We were told that there were no more waffles for the chicken and waffles. Ok, weird... We had the deviled eggs that were ok, nothing special. I had the French toast that was ok too. And when we were done and paying our waiter told us that he forgot the brunch was coming with a mimosa... We were really not impressed by the food nor the service.
Heresay on the Green is a hidden gem in the city. Food was great and service was outstanding! We had the cheesesteak egg rolls and deviled eggs for appetizers and the Red Snapper and Chicken Milanese for our entrees. If you get the chance, talk to the Manager, Adam. He is really nice and made us feel welcomed.
HRW brunch. Good tasty food. Everything we ordered tasted great. Complimentary mimosas were a welcome surprise.
Great food, service , and ambiance will dine there again!
Such an awesome place with delicious food!
The chicken fried steak was way overdone and was mostly batter.
Lunch was so amazing. the presentation was like looking at a professional picture, so perfect. Our server was so friendly and kind, very very welcoming.
Definitely a place I will return and suggest.
thank you Hearsay!
Thank you for participating with Houston Restaurant Week.
The Kunh Pao Shrimp, toasted poblano soup and the Brussels sprouts were our favorite. The Wagyu steak was tender and flavorful.
It was a very refreshing date night venue... food was fabulous, service impeachable.... we loved everything about it!!
Worst food I’ve ever had.
Greeted by the most friendly host! The bacon appetizer is amazing- 3 out 4 entrees were impressive. Disappointed in the bread pudding French toast not what I had pictured but taste was on point.
Food and service was impeccable. Filet was cooked perfectly, the corn casserole was amazing and just sweet enough to really compliment the garlic mashed potatoes.
The blacked scallops and corn mix was amazingly savory which complimented the richness of the scallops very well.
I love the original location, but this just topped them thanks to the manager and attentiveness of GiGi.
I had the avocado toast and was expecting just that. When it came to the table it had shredded apple, bell pepper and other veggies with a weird sour flavor. Also came with an egg cooked to my choosing. All those flavors mixed did not go well but the service was good and setting was nice also.
We left before even getting drinks...took about 15 minutes to be greeted, and then we waited another 15 minutes before giving up. The two FOH employees were working as hard as they could, but the place was obviously understaffed. Seems like incredibly poor planning for a Father's Day lunch.
The steak was awesome and the Atmosphere was wonderful loved all the beautiful lightbulbs, and the service was above and beyond.
This location is my favorite, but Hearsay is one of my favorite restaurants. You will not be disappointed if you choose this place.
Just season the food! The risotto needed another 30 minutes of cook time, was not creamy and zero flavor. Maybe 1 or 2asparagus stalks in the order...couldn’t tell it was a part of the dish. Drinks were good and service was great, but very disappointed with every dish. Cajun pasta...really? No heat or spice.
Pre concert dinner
It was packed because of the Eagles concert and our waiter was working hard but there were a lot of people in there. I thought it was great and will be back!!
It was crazy busy with Eagles fans but we still got seated ahead of time. Server was great. Food and cocktails were on point as usual. Only issue we had was that we were under an air con vent! CHILLY!!!
Our waitstaff were excellent!
Very nice place. We had a waiter who seemed uncomfortable with talking. But, he did okay. But, everything was great otherwise.
loved coming here for brunch. Travis was a great server and would recommend. Never had a manager stop by my table just to say hi but Ryan did that. It was an amazing experience
Burger was undercooked. Salads and fries were good. Waiter was not attentive.
Service was excellent!
Drinks and food were great as was the service. It was pretty loud and the tables were a bit crowded, but overall great experience.
Bret was awesome and informative for the couple with us that had never been there.
Had a 7:15pm reservation. Arrived at 7:15 and the hostess told me someone was just sitting down in my section so I could wait at the bar until they were done. 30 minutes later, I asked if we could sit at a smaller table while we waited for our table to open up and they allowed it. 15 minutes later we got our "reserved" table. We sat down and no one came to check on us so after about 10 minutes, we got up and grabbed our own menus from the host stand. The food was just fine and the wait staff was great, but the fact that we had to wait an hour past our reservation to experience that is a problem.
Good food for the downtown price. The mushroom risotto was excellent.
We went for early dinner prior to a concert at Toyota Center. Service was prompt. Bar menu was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food. Highly recommend!
Food and atmosphere was amazing as always. Walking distance from Marriott Marquis makes it easy to dine there and take in a concert at Toyota Center after.
Hearsay is not a "fancy" restaurant, so don't overly dress unless you have some other dressy affair before or after. Make reservations about a week ahead if you really want a certain time as it will get crowded with concert attendees, etc about an hour or two before gates open. I had the snapper entree and risotto as a side. My husband had the salmon salad- he expected warm salmon but it was cold, smoked salmon packaged type salmon on the salad. It was okay, he said. Not really what he wanted for a dinner... he usually gets salmon salads at Coastal Flats in DC and expected something of that caliber for the price. The menu did explain what you got but the menu for the Coastal Flats salad was almost the same except for the word "grilled". So maybe he should have asked. My risotto was very good. Snapper was delicious but I didn't eat the asparagus side... went to waste. Not crazy about chewy greens as an accompaniment to the tender fish flesh. The risotto texture and flavor was more complimentary, in my opinion. Service was good- atmosphere pleasant...although we were seated close to the door at 4 when the restaurant was not busy. Not my favorite place to be sat- but I am sure they had their reasons. Wine servings were generous- my prosecco came in a standard glass- no champagne flutes around. Meh- a little thing, but I notice little things. I might eat ther again on a whim but probably would not go out of my way since there are so many other restaurants are in the vicinity. Handy if you are staying at Embassy Suites.
We had a nice dinner before walking to Toyota Center for a concert. Loved the bacon appetizer and ahi tuna dinner. I will be going back.
