Service was fast and friendly. Good American good. Good beer. Great place.
The burgers are great. The meat itself had great taste and the toppings aren’t overpowering. The summer beer is nice and refreshing has a nice light fruity taste.
good location close to offices and not expensive. Good for business lunch, decent food and atmosphere
Took the wife to HB Burger before seeing Beautiful at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Burger & Beer were great Wife had the chicken sandwich she said it was just okay. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Was perfect for a quick bite before Beautiful (right across the street). Very good burgers and great happy hour deals at the bar.
Very good. Fast friendly service. Will go back when back in town.
Nice waiter. Cute venue with vintage beer memorabilia galore. Music a bit loud, but not too 40. A good mix. Enjoyed a yummy Kobe burger and Royal burger. Price was right. Good location for theater.
Awesome, great food and service. Awesome craft beer.
Great pre-theatre place, they’re turn around is quick. Food is delicious!
Best burgers ever! And i’ve tried some in my career! When i visit NY again it will be the only place i’ll eat one!
They also serve very good house beers, overal definitly worth a visit! And the price is worth it, quit ‘cheap’ for New York standards...🙃 staff is very friendly...so, what are you waiting for...😋
The burgers and buns were delicious. Fries were ok - a little too overdone. Onion straws and pastrami egg roll appetizers were interesting and tasty. Amanda our server was excellent. Would go again.
The burgers were great. The staff was friendly but there was a private function which was a bit loud.
Food was delightful! Staff very accommodating! Will be back on our next visit to Broadway!
When I looked this place up on TripAdvisor and OpenTable, I saw 4+ ratings. Since we like good burgers, I thought it was worth a try.
The first let down was that there were more empty tables than I expected for a place near Times Square with 4+ ratings.
The second was that their menu listed homemade sodas on tap. Yet when we ordered the black cherry soda, we were told that they no longer offered the homemade soda. Beats me why they were still on the menu.
We ordered the Burger Royal and Blackened Tuna Burger. The burgers were good. The tuna burger was a little dry. I should have ordered the Sashimi Tuna Burger instead.
I had a pint of Cornhusker Lager. It was too bitter for my taste and not as smooth as I had hoped.
The apps were great! We had the pastrami spring rolls, tater tots, and buffalo wings. The burgers were excellent and they had a really good beer selection!
Standard fare as expected. A bit too salty on the southwestern salad.
Very good burger. I day after i eas in the napkin burger, this burger is total over valued
This was our third visit & we keep coming back. Great burgers, brew & good location for after the theater.
Great food in a great venue. Ideal for a pre theatre meal
I loved my visit to HB Burger! Great service, and great food!
Great place for before a show!!
Best veggie burger I’ve ever had!
We were very glad, that they had the bison and kobe burgers. The service was stellar and we appreciated every aspect of our dining experience.
We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return, in the near future.
Extensive beer/ale offerings and creative beer-based cocktails. The world's smallest sundaes are not to be missed!
First, the burgers were absolutely yummy! Cooked perfectly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and she surprised the birthday girl with a small ice cream parfait. My children enjoyed their food as well.
Stopped here for a quick dinner before a show. Service was prompt pretty good, the only qualification being that the server disappeared for periods of time. The food was good and reasonably priced however read the menu carefully since the standard dishes (primarily burgers, as the name implies) do not come with any sides so the prices may seem lower than they turn out to be, but are still a fair value.
Definitely recommend for a Pre-show dinner
Great burgers and waitstaff. Close to theaters. Great choice for pre theater burger
Great burgers and salads in the theatre district. Take a bus trip; eat at HB Burger and still have time to shop on Fifth ave a bit before the matinee. This is my third visit and I will go there again! Also, we had a group of 13 and they graciously accomodated us. They honor your reservation, so be on time!
Solid burgers, great beer selection, good prices and fast service. Good for a quick casual meal before a Broadway show. Look out for solicitor on corner for free beer coupons.
This was my second visit to this place... service is quick, good food... good beer... and prices are very reasonable. Okay for families too.
Good burgers and beer we needed a quite bite for lunch before a Matinee. Perfect for that
Very friendly service, EXCELLENT turkey burger. Great location for walking from Grand Central to theatre district. Only downside, no gluten-free options
We went for a pre-matinee lunch. It was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The three of us all had burgers with different toppings. Each was done exactly as we requested -- one well done, one medium-well (just a hint of pink) and one medium. It did get a bit noisy as the place filled with the lunchtime crowd, but we could still carry on a conversation. The server was attentive, but not pushy and the prices were what we expected for New York.
HB Burger was conviently located near the theater we were going to and the food and wait staff were exceptional.
Went while on vacation. Good food for teens and adults!
Nothing to write home about. You never get a second chance to make a 1st impression. The hostess started the experience off poorly with her condescending demeanor. The food was average, and my son's hamburger had a piece of gristle in it which he spit out when he almost choked on it. The manager was quite professional in handling the situation and gave us a free dessert.
