Excellent restaurant. Had the cauliflower as the start and it was delicious. Had the sea scallops for the main course and it was perfect, cooked to perfection. Had my favorite cocktail - Ride the Lightning if my memory doesn’t trick me - who you can only get there and it’s divine. Perfect dinner

We had a wonderful experience at Hazie’s! Great menu, selections, food, wine, and drinks. The food food selections we ordered were excellent Our server, Ben was outstanding. The chef, Joey Altman came to our table and asked how our meal was. Very welcoming personal experience at a restaurant in San Francisco!

This is THE vibe. Food and drinks were top notch, and the staff was warm and friendly. The pork dumplings were HUGE (and please just give me more and more sauce).

Do Not Go Here Before A Performance. I have twice gone here before a performance arriving two hours before the performance and each time the kitchen has been slow and erratic. In the most recent experience, we actually cancelled our main course and left because it was not going to arrive on time. I go to 8 to 10 performance per year for many years and Hazies is the only place where this has been an issue. It is too bad because the food is actually good.

Drinks were good and ambiance was nice - no issues with these 2 things. Food was only okay: - pickle spears lacked flavor (it’s like they forgot to add vinegar, so it was like eating a cucumber soaked in salted water). - 1 burger at our table was not cooked as requested (asked for medium well, but was still pink). Service was BAD: - Waiter FORGOT to put in a dish and had to be flagged down multiple times for a resolution. By the time the dish came out, it was an hour late, not cooked as requested, and the table had already largely finished eating. - Entrees came out at random times so some folks had plates that got cold or were mostly done by the time others got their meals. - Waiter rolled eyes when asked if an adjustment to a drink could be made. - Waiter made strange comments. Only truly positive experience was that the meal and drinks for the person whose order was missed were comped, but just a poor experience overall.

this restaurant felt so welcoming. open, lots of natrual light, appealing decor in a upscale pub fashion. interesting menu encompassing general favorites done with a twist and some imaginative fresh offerings. food well prepared and so very fresh. i intend to become a regular. also easy to get to by bus as this area has limitations when parking.

An absolute must And a perfect location for those that attend the ballet, opera, jazz etc and the museums. A pure delight

Had a fabulous time. Menu was large. Food delicious. Waiters were helpful, knowledgeable and considerate. We were a little concerned about noise level because bar was packed. It wasn’t a problem at all. Highly recommend!

Outstanding pre-show dining experience. Imaginative dinner menu, fresh ingredients, decent portions. Incredible service - every employee was friendly, attentive. The space is loud but the floorplan is well thought out to allow privacy between tables. Looking forward to returning!

First time there. Service was stellar. And Chef came out to greet us and ask how we were doing. After talking with him about his tripe specials that he had created after a recent trip to Italy and not being sold on anything tripe, he sent out a trial plate. Then came back to ask what we thought. His personal touch and the delicious food definitely created a desire to return to Mezzies when we are back in the area.
