Great neighborhood spot with American food. Some of the dishes try a little too hard to be unique (the cheese curds and calamari for example), but most of the menu is solid and dependable. Noise and ambience are lively. Service has always been professional and timely.

Our waitress was great and our food was yummy. We eat here often but this was the first time we were seated by the east side windows so that was a fun change.

We love this place! It has become a favorite for my husband to grab the Walleye Fish and Chips and my go-to salad is the Santa Fe (yum)! If you want a real treat check out their deconstructed Key Lime dessert!!

We took a friend to dinner who cannot tolerate gluten. They list quite a few things as available gluten free but when questioned about it, they admitted there was likely cross contamination on everything they said could be made gluten free. Very disappointing.

The food was excellent. We had fish and chips and the porkchops and the boursin articoke dip appetizer. And gin and tonic. The waitress seemed disinterested at best. The drinks took a long time. The appetizer and food came out put in a reasonable time. The waitress never checked back to see how our food was and seemed in a hurry to move us along.

First time dining at Hazelwood. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Our server was very knowledgable, upbeat and helpful in making suggestions. Will definitely be returning to Hazelwood!
