   Dined here many many times as I am a local, this time our service was poor. No water - we asked 3x, my glass of sparking came 20 mins after the cocktails, server never came to check in - even once. Usually we have great service.

   We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch! Jason, was exceptional and provided excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate us.    I want so badly to leave an outstanding review- but it was a tough experience and I am not one to leave less than excellent reviews. Half our meal was comped bc the service and wait was so long. And the food was very mediocre. When coming to a 5 star hotel & restaurant I expect it to be an outstanding experience. Unfortunately this was not! I DO really appreciate the effort of our server to comp some items to try and make up for the experience. The ambiance and hotel are stunning - but the restaurant needs to step up the game big time.

    Veal was excellent. Hamburger delicious, except bun was dry. Side salad flavorless. Did not taste any dressing. Service good, but no acknowledgement of anniversary which was documented at booking… Even when we asked for our picture to be taken. Definitely not a Ritz Carlton caliber.

    My wife and I really enjoy restaurants that offer tasting menus. We were visiting the Windsor Healdsburg menu and Hazel Hill popped up as offering one. We chose to sit outside to be able to look over the Vineyards. They have heaters and blankets to deal with the cooling post sunset temperatures. The 6 courses (plus Amuse Bouche, bread and post dinner chocolates) were outstanding. We also chose the wine pairing, something we do every time we do a tasting menus and all the wines paired really well with the courses. Very reasonably priced compared to the restaurants we have visited offering tasting menus in the Bay area

    Not as great as the first time we went there. Duck was overcooked, marmalade that went with it was super bitter, and the overall mix of flavors and attention to detail was not as exciting as the first time we were there.

    I’ve bern here twice in the past week. Though one seems to have a mix of servers (4-5), your primary server makes a difference! Outstanding service the first time (Thank you, Daniel!); lackluster the second. The kitchen and the location are phenomenal.

    The menu reflected the abundance of spring vegetables, so fresh, and yet was used in just the right amounts to enhance the flavor of the dish. My daughter and I both had the Alaskan Halibut that was poached, the fish was so moist and delicious, additionally, the Roasted Garlic Soup, probably one of the best starters on the new spring menu. Creamy, subtle, yet quite delicious was the way to describe the Garlic Soup. Keep the Halibut and Soup on the menu for awhile, we will be back.

    Loved the setting of this restaurant. Staff was attentive. The room was open, modern and well-appointed. We were allowed to sit outside for a drink prior to dinner, even though we had reservations at the time they sat us outside. That to me was above and beyond. The food was delicious.

    This is the third time we have been to Hazel Hill for special occasion dinners. We have been very pleased every time. The only thing I could suggest to improve would be to have somewhere to relax for drinks which is not cold! I know the outside is beautiful but having doors open on cold evenings does not make for relaxing ambience. Ian Butcher

    I did a birthday breakfast/brunch with my mom for her 75th birthday. It was absolutely perfect. The service was really incredible. I honestly can't ever remember being so well taken care of at a restaurant before. Just by our reservation they greeted us by name, sat us in the most lovely spot with a spectacular view, and our server was warm and friendly. Everyone you met was kind and helpful, the food was very good, and they have both inside and outside dining. It is the dining room for the resort, so as the restaurant filled in you, you definitely had more families, and people do dress a little more casually. We liked that more relaxed feel, but just a heads up for anyone who is expecting something more formal.

    The host was very nice and attentive and we were seated right away. Once we sat down someone came to fill our water glasses and then no one ever returned. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked to speak with our wait staff. The host came over and explained there was a mix up and no sever was assigned to our table. A server finally came and took our order, we ordered the tasting menu and we’re extremely unhappy with the food. The food took at least another 30 minutes to arrive. There were several courses that were so bad we just sent them back. The food was definitely not up to par with the price of the meal by a long shot. Overall a very disappointing experience.
