I took my husband for his bday and he absolutely LOVED it. We had a minor issue but Stephanie, the manager, quickly resolved it and Victoria, our waitress, ensured that everything with our order was communicated with the kitchen. Or meals were AMAZING and will DEFINITELY recommend Haywire-Uptown to ALL of our friends and YES we’ll be returning!!!
Server was not good! Food just ok.
Service was great, food was amazing.
Great food and service
Consistently great. My go-to spot for dinner or lunch. Love having Haywire as my next-door neighbor.
A birthday celebration! Great service, good food, excellent valet service. Booth 304 is now our favorite.
Food was OK …6/10
Reed is fantastic! Love the service & food choices.
Our server was great but food service was slow and our food was served to another table….had to wait longer.
Great place, service, and food will visit again soon.
Great experience each time no complaints great food and service
Great food, service and a fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back and would recommend to others.
server was excellent. she should be promoted. amazing experience for the third time. can’t wait to go back
In town visiting for a few weeks and stopped in for brunch. The ambiance is very charming, thoughtfully decorated and perfectly Texan! The food was excellent! I had some of the Best friend green tomatoes that I’ve had to date. The whiskey and bourbon selection was extensive and IMO wonderfully curated. I will definitely return before my visit to the city ends! Highly recommend!
Went for brunch, but the entire menu looked incredible. I got the hot chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. Our service was great too. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere was great. I love the cowboy vibe in Dallas. Get the fried green tomatoes!
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. Could work on their playing. Seemed very basic for a new Dallas restaurant.
Really cool spot. Finish out of the place is great and so was the food.
Food was good. Service was great! The Texas theme is a bit over the top, like it's a Texas restaurant in a theme park. One of our servers used a different fake TX accent every time he spoke.
Fun happy hour menu, great ambiance, very cool place
Excellent food and fantastic service by Nick! In town on business and he had tons of great recommendations for us and was full of fun facts!
Beautiful atmosphere, extensive menu, good (not great) food. Hostess was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. Service was lacking even though it seemed to be a slow night. We received the wrong side dish but nobody came to check on the table until we were mostly done with our meal so we didn't ask for a replacement. The chef's board was beautiful and tasty. Our Tomahawk was cooked appropriately and had a delicious and tasty sear. Over all it was a nice visit but we will probably stick to our regular spots versus returning. Other steakhouses (YO Ranch Steakhouse, Dakotas, Kenny's, Corrientes, Bob's) all seem to offer more attentive service with food that is equal to or even better at a similar price point.
This was my second visit. The first visit was was pretty good. We sat at the bar, the first person to greet us and get us started, kinda forgot about us and we had to give eye contact to another bartender for service. They food was great and the drink good and strong! As for this visit, we were on time for our reservation but had to wait to be seated. We chose patio on the reservation and was almost seated inside. After clearing that up, we were placed outside, directly in the sun. After moving to a better shaded area, we waited a bit for a waiter to greet us. We received our water and placed our drink orders. It was over 20 minutes before we got our drinks (that had to go in and retrieve on my own) and the inside of the restaurant was fairly empty. We then received our food with no utensils. I asked a server for some and she started grabbing loose utensils from a dirty bin. When I asked for wrapped utensils, she told me I’d have to wait. I then went inside (again) to get my own. Again the food was great and the drinks were right on the money. The staff just may need a little fine tuning and everything will be wonderful. I will definitely be back. I want to try everything on the menu!
This was the last dinner of our Dallas “Staycation”. We’ve been to the Haywire in Legacy, but the Dallas location has very different vibe to it, that could make this our “go-to”. The food always consistently great. Our favorite appetizer is the fried oysters.
great food and atmosphere
The service was impeccable, the waitress even stuffed olives with blue cheese because we asked if they had them! The experience was amazing. Would definitely go back!
Amazing food and amazing service! Everything we’ve had here has been delicious and the service is unbeatable. Highly recommended!
Went for date night with my husband. Wanted outside dining but it was still pretty hot and the fans didn’t do much. And the noise from the street was pretty loud but it was still okay!
Ordered the prime rib with a side of the whipped chive mashed potatoes and it was delightful!! Very well seasoned and just perfectly cooked. My husband ordered a charbroiled strip steak with fries. I didn’t taste the steak but he said it was good and the fries were wonderfully crispy and nicely seasoned. We were too full to eat dessert so we took home a piece of the Homestead cake which is their take on a carrot cake and it was yummy!
Sadie was our darling server. We loved sitting on the patio- it had a nice breeze in spite of being a hot night. Our side salads were great and we had the chicken fried chicken- delish and the cornbread catfish- delish. This is a fun place.
Love their Elk Tacos and Chocolate Cake! They were out of the wine I ordered but it happens. Overall a good experience.
Delish! Everything was so good!
Great food and service!!!
Nice ambiance, friendly staff, good food.
It was my second time, their first and as always- everything was amazing! Will definitely be back again!
I drove 3 and a half hours from Houston on an empty stomach to get to Dallas, I had a 1030 reservation got there and omg not what I was expecting. The restaurant is gorgeous and thankfully there was valet but as soon as I got in I was told the kitchen closed at 11, no pressure, and I got a text from valet that valet services would be closing at 11 and to get my car key from security if I stay after 11,tf?!?! I ordered a salad and I never got it and when I mentioned it they offered to give it to me in a to go box?!?? The salad was good but the experience was crappy. Advice? Do better.
Great experience. The food and the ambiance were amazing and if I’m ever in the area again, I most definitely will return.
The waiter seemed peeved with us and didn’t really tend to us. A commonly heard phrase was “I’ll be back” when we wanted something.
