We had a girlfriends' lunch yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The Wednesday special, smoked fried chicken, is one of my favorites, and my girlfriend enjoyed it too. Jenna was our server, and she did an excellent job, making the event feel quite festive and special.

I wasn't sure about ordering meatloaf on a date night, but it was superb as usual. When I commented in it to the waiter he said the meatloaf had won an award a couple years age. I believe it! Oh and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer - yum!

We had cocktails on the 3rd floor and were intrigued by the teepee booths! But we ate on the 2nd floor and our waiter Pedro was amazing! We visited with Jamie Johnson a friendly Midwestern lady who was so welcoming and knowledgeable! Our food was amazing can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience, I went with a group for homecoming and it was packed. Even though it was full we had swift service and an excellent waiter. Will definitely come back again for the delicious Texas steak!

Our server Santiago was super attentive with great suggestions for food and drinks. He was very professional and paid attention to all the details. Our food was fantastic as well as our drinks. Overall a perfect evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will be back again soon.

My biggest problem with this place is what is the point of reservation if there never on time. I picked an early dinner 5:15 get to the restaurant early and am told there are 4 tables ahead of us. It was 5:45 asked again and it was everyone showed up early for the reservations so keep waiting. People showing up early isn’t my problem it’s on the restaurant to manage the flow. Besides that the service was great and the food was great .

Brunch with a couple of friends at Haywire. Very attentive server. Food was good, but not outstanding. Sent a side salad back to the kitchen because the ranch dressing was borderline rancid. Server took it away and never mentioned it again. No offer to trade it for another side. Simply took it off the table. Very odd.

The service was impeccable. The server helped make my mother's 71st birthday fun and she felt spoiled by the great service. This was our first time but we will certainly be back again. Fantastic and fresh food. You don't leave hungry.

As always fantastic! Service from Peyton was top notch and Chef Skyler’s food was out of this world! The new dessert, the buttermilk pie, is out of this world!!! The manager, Turner, and Managing Partner, Jamie, stopped by to check on us which was a nice touch. Kudos!

Never have a bad experience at Haywire. We went to have brunch on Sunday with the kids. Everything was really great. I am a bit sad that they no longer have the chicken and dumplings available for brunch. It was one of the reasons we loved going for brunch. However, there are lots of other taste things on the menu for sure.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We really enjoy the food selection and quality. Typically their portions are quite large and hardy. This time, the Chicken fried steak was just average. Very thin, the breading looked like it was only dipped once. The green beans were very tasty, and the meal was fine, but I've had this meal many times at this restaurant, and today's favor was lacking. I hope they can correct it!

I will be coming back here in the future. I had a short trip to Dallas and this place with its many options (whiskey lounge, restaurant, cigar bar - all different floors) fit the bill. Friendly staff, perfectly cooked fillet (rare +) without extra frills because it doesn’t need it. The bartender was friendly as well as the rest of the staff. They had my whiskey in stock (back at home you can’t find it). Highly recommend.

From the moment we walked in, we were treated with great service. We took the elevator to the second floor were we met the hostess who had us seated in a booth which was requested in our reservation. We were there celebrating my wife’s birthday. The hostess placed a bottle with some LED lights on our table when we were seated. We inquired about it and was told they are placed on the table so your server knows you are celebrating something. Our server was great and went over some items with me as it was my first time at a Haywire. We decided on our cocktails, a Rose 75 for my wife and a Shinerbock for me. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer and they do not disappoint! We had a few leftover so we took those home to enjoy another day!I enjoyed the Wedge Salad and my wife the House Salad. The House Salad was huge so we also brought some of that home! We opted for the 8 oz. garlic stuffed filet with asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly to our request and was delicious! Our server surprised my wife with a dessert for her birthday which reminded us of a bread pudding and came with a whiskey sauce. That was just what we needed to finish off our birthday celebration dinner! I will definitely go back again!

8/10 Food: I’ve never really had anything here I didn’t like. However, this was my first time having steak, it was a little salty. The first steak came out over cooked but our waiter and the floor manager came over and took care of it; replacing our steaks at no cost. One of my friends got the lime potatoes and they didn’t taste like lime and seemed a little too much oil for me, the mashed potatoes are better. Drinks: I love the old fashioneds here. They do a TX sized pour for $3 and it’s worth it. Also, the ice cubes have a TX state in them. Too fun. Service: They were incredibly busy for a Thursday night so I understand some delay in the drinks especially, but we got our food before we were even asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. We actually had to flag down our waiter to order a second round. Overall: This place is good tho. I recommend.

This is one of our favorite go to places. We drop in and sit/eat at the bar all the time. Sean (manager) I've known for years is a really great guy. Last night was a bit of a challenge as they had many corporate events going on. The staff worked hard to deliver but it was still a slower service than normal. Knowing the level of events, I would have opted for another day.

We brought a friend from Maryland who had never been to Texas. We introduced her to Haywire's uniquely Texas style and flavors to great satisfaction. Our server Liz did a great job of explaining a few menu items, and we chose the grilled barbacoa sandwich while I had the ever-popular soup and salad. Our friend loved the sandwich and the accompanying tortilla soup, without a doubt the best in its class. We shared tastes, and we all liked everything. Dessert was a tough decision, but we all loved the fabulous pecan pie with cinnamon roll crust. The house decaf coffee also won high praise. Her verdict is, "I'll be back!"
