I did the chef's tasting on 7/28 and the appetizers were amazing. I was very underwhelmed with the pasta dish (not a lot of flavor) and the steak was cooked well but also didn't seem to have much flavor. I was somewhat disappointed this go around because my past experiences have been SO incredible overall. It was also busy, and it seemed as though the staff were stretched pretty thin. The wine pairings didn't come out on time - it was an overall fair experience. After my first two times there, the third was very disappointing.

Amazing tasting menu - perfect for a group outing of four people. Love that we were able to make a reservation for outdoor dining. The pasta and halibut were the star of the menu.
My friends and I split a bottle of wine and each ordered a different kind of pasta. All of them were great, but the Tonnarelli was my favorite!

Great server, friendly ppl working at haymaker, good airflow, nice open kitchen that doesn’t overwhelm the experience or become the focal point. Super comfortable dining experience. Always good oysters, mixed drinks, salads, pasta. Good neighborhood place!!! Also love the decor. Minimalist and bright without being cold or too hip.
Well well well… what a lovely Saturday night date place! My wife and I booked a last minute reservation here and we were extremely happy we did. Despite our hesitation in ordering the chef’s tasting menu, because many tasting menu’s in Seattle tend to leave us wanting to buy burgers on the way home, we ordered it and were so happy we did! We left more than satisfied, the service from Edward was outstanding and after dinner were able to drink some amaro’s we hadn’t ever tried before!

Server a was s awful at his job. After giving him the order two times he came back to check it again. Asked for the table to not be over crowd with food as we wanted it coursed out and the food came all at once. Plus he still got the order wrong.
Food was okay but won’t be returning.
Staff was checked out and more worried about going to party at the lake once off. GM was walking around with out a mask on even tho I was required to wear one based on signage. She was also loudly drink with friends so it was hard to eat in a nice space.
Don’t waste your time or money on this place. There are better options along the strip or just up the hill.

The restaurant left the windows open on a 90 degree day with no A/C on inside. My date and I were sitting by the wall with no breeze, and we were sweating while eating. Poor experience and decision from the restaurant. You should prioritize the comfort of your patrons.

My friend and I had never been here before, I was beyond happy to stay all night if I could have! The staff was warm, kind and had a level of comfort and joy you hope to see out in the world. We ordered the chefs course which came with 7 meals. Plenty of food for two people! Lot of varying options and if you are adventurous with food, I'd recommend this option. Overall I would come back again. Thank you all for a great evening. <3

I love this restaurant. The first visit was really good but this second time was not quite the same. Chalking it up to ramping up from lower patronage during the pandemic or short staff maybe?
I'm no expert in restaurant management but we had a few different servers taking parts of our order and for some reason, all three of them kept making mistakes.
From server #1: Ordered one starting plate with drinks--->Only the drinks arrived but one Server #2 asked if they could take our drink order while we were waiting for the drinks and starter.
A third server checked in on us but once we said we'd been helped, they didn't stop by again.
Server#2 took our food order of three different small plates and three different mains-->the three small plates arrived and the three mains but two of the mains were the same. Third main eventually arrived.
Server #2 took the wine order, Server #1 brought the bottle and glasses.
Server #2 took the dessert and cocktail order, but only brought the desserts, never said anything about the cocktail and it didn't show up on the bill.
They were very apologetic and made it right so I'm not trying to call them out or anything. I do think it might help if they write down the orders or use a tablet system instead of trying to enter everything from memory. It was simply too busy for memory to work all evening.

The tartare was some of the best I’ve had, happy hour fries were great, but a little salty. My CopperRiver salmon was good, but served on a plate solo. Yes beautifully garnished, but for $37 I think a bit of veg or white beans would have made a difference.
My date had a gorgeous pasta dish with crab and fava beans.
The portion was healthy and it was delicious as promised. We look forward to coming back to try the tasting menu.

It was our first time at the restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The service was great and the ambiance was perfect for a fun night out.

Between our group we tried all 3 pastas. They were pretty good, although the only thing we could taste in the tonnarelli was black pepper (so much pepper)! Would probably go to other Italian restaurants in Seattle before coming back here
Haymaker never misses the mail with their chef's tasting! Came here for our anniversary dinner and every dish was incredible.
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was not spicy at all. If you’re gonna go with that name, you really gotta give it a kick. The Focaccia was delicious. My pasta was decent, a bit stuck together and dry. Service was great, and the prices didn’t break the bank. We
did get put in the back near all the employees’ bags and purses, which wasn’t ideal, especially considering it was my birthday.
The food was very tasty and the service was very prompt. The waitstaff kept checking back in with us and my wife sincerely enjoyed her Mother's Day dinner. The only issue with the restaurant would be the parking. There were not many spaces open nearby. We will certainly be back.
I wanted to love Haymaker, but unfortunately most of the food and drink failed to stand out. I will say that the one exception is their house-made breads; that unfortunately doesn't carry the experience.
The ideas behind Haymaker's menu are fantastic, but the execution of dishes is where it fell short for me.
The gem salad was just OK, Nothing exceptional in either direction and felt like a salad I could easily toss together at home.
Their burrata stated it came with castelvetrano olives and rhubarb, but those flavors did not come through at all in the preparation.
The Tonnarelli with truffle creme fraiche, wild mushroom and black pepper again sounded awesome, but all I could taste was overwhelming black pepper. If there were any mushroom or truffle in the dish, I certainly couldn't detect it on the tastebuds. I ate about half of the dish and couldn't stomach any more. The staff, who were exceptional in every imaginable way in their friendliness and accommodating nature, offered me a replacement dish, but I was full by that point so didn't try anything else.
My partner had the Halibut, which was genuinely pretty darn good!
Overall, however, there were far too many "meh" items for a restaurant at this price point. I'm unlikely to go back and probably wouldn't give it a strong recommendation.
The cocktails were great! But the pasta was undercooked ... not even al dente. The short ribs were not quite what I expected. Hoped for braised. Anyway, not sure we will be back. Sadly.

It was still restaurant week and we had a delicious tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was amazing! They were very busy and service was a little slow at the beginning, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
