This is the story of a date night and a kitchen batting .800.
They gave us a solid charcuterie, outstanding beef tartare, delicious street corn, and a solid steak frites. The scallops were a swing and a miss. Initially forgotten and then rushed, they were a bit undercooked, over peppered and the choice of citrus with olives was not a good mix.
Drinks solid and the service well done.
Had an awesome dinner at Haymaker. My wife and I went with the Chef's tasting menu, which was 7 different plates (a pretty great deal at $59/ea). Service was great, and the cocktails were delicious.

I was a little surprised when our waitress brought a $100 bottle of wine to our table without asking if that price range was okay. Shame on me for assuming it was in the same price range as our first bottle ($44).
The indoor seating is what you want on a rainy day. Although I appreciate that they tent the outdoor seating when it rains, the tent was a benign setting and when you are spending that much on dinner you want some ambiance. Perhaps some tall plants might make a difference?

It was just OK. The pasta was a little dry, rigatoni. The wait staff and the general manager were great.
Server Ronnie made the night for us. HIs recommendations were spot-on, including the wine. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the entire experience.
Always great food and great service! Chef Nick does a fabulous job with his food preparation. We were greeted by Juan and seated promptly outdoors as requested. As usual, Juan was extremely gracious. Lexi, our waitperson, was phenomenal! She's always attentive to the details and makes us feel at home.
Juan shared one of the appetizers from the tasting menu and it was phenomenal. We'll have to try the tasting menu soon, it's been awhile! Thanks to Lexi, Juan, and Chef Nick!.
If you are a party of two that likes to try several items you may want to sit inside. The outdoor seating they provide for parties of two didn’t even has enough room for two sharing appetizers plus drinks and plates let alone our water glasses…we were playing make it fit all night long. They redeemed themselves with the dessert. It made shuffle board worth it kinda!
Amazing! It was my first time and can't wait to come back. Loved the food and the service. I would highly recommend for a date night, must try the tasting menu 5/5

Food and service was excellent here we sat outside with a view of the water. Nice and quiet. Inside dining was also very airy and the atmosphere wonderful.
We went to Haymaker to celebrate my mother's 87th birthday. We frequent Haymaker West Seattle so this was our first visit to the Eastlake location and it did not disappoint. The food and service was impeccable as usual. They treated my mother like a queen.
Super cute restaurant! Signature cocktail was amazing but ordered a martini and was not good. All food needed extra seasoning and pasta was too undercooked. Service was also lacking, especially for a Thursday night. Wouldn’t come back for how expensive it was.
The food and service was lovely. We tried almost all appetizers and desserts and would recommend them all. One of my party members was quite late and despite Covid restricted times, they were quite accommodating to let us sit longer. The only issue I have is that their outdoor dining area feels like you are sitting on the street. A lot of restaurants in Seattle who have created outside seating areas during Covid have this issue. Next time I go back, I will ask for an inside seating. Other than that, I loved the restaurant.
We sat outside and every time I go I'm always at a table closest to the street. Not that big of a deal but would like to be closer to the water some time. My friend and I did the Margarita to start and very well balanced. We did the tasting menu which had a lot of courses and fun to try new things. The complaint I have is they have an option kitchen and you can see the chef and staff preparing food. They did not have their masks on and just had them dangling from one ear. This was concerning and upsetting given that we are at a state mandate of masks indoors. I don't think I will return until things with covid get better as the staff doesn't seem to make masking up a priority.

We ordered the tasting menu. It started strong, but then fizzled. Also, the pacing was disappointing. Not satisfying at the price point.

Drawn here by the patio seating. Took a long time to place our order and get a drink. The food (chicken sandwich, halibut, fries, fingerlings) was fine but not up to the standard of sister restaurant Vendemmia.

Delicious food! The halibut was done perfectly and so fresh! We also loved the asparagus, again very fresh and packed with flavor! Ronnie, our waiter, was very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. Beautiful restaurant in a great area!
We came for our third wedding anniversary. We were looking for an outdoor setting and a solid chefs tasting menu. I chose haymaker based on reviews and could not have been happier with the choice. Service was excellent, attentive, and totally accommodating to my dietary restrictions and that we had a movie to make after dinner and needed an accelerated schedule for the tasting menu. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, but we did have special praise for the burrata, halibut and pasta. Thank you, haymaker, for a great evening!
Wonderful update to this space/restaurant. Food was spectacular and the happy hour is outstanding. Dinner portions on all HH food. We will be back.
Very hot due to AC not working. Food value was fair. Halibut dinner very poor quality. Drinks expensive for size of drink. Food expensive for what was given. Some food was cold.
Food is very good. The space, particularly the outdoor space, is very pleasant (if you don't mind hearing some Eastlake traffic noise). Good vibe with friendly, attentive staff. I've been three times in the past 5 weeks.
I did the chef's tasting on 7/28 and the appetizers were amazing. I was very underwhelmed with the pasta dish (not a lot of flavor) and the steak was cooked well but also didn't seem to have much flavor. I was somewhat disappointed this go around because my past experiences have been SO incredible overall. It was also busy, and it seemed as though the staff were stretched pretty thin. The wine pairings didn't come out on time - it was an overall fair experience. After my first two times there, the third was very disappointing.

Amazing tasting menu - perfect for a group outing of four people. Love that we were able to make a reservation for outdoor dining. The pasta and halibut were the star of the menu.
My friends and I split a bottle of wine and each ordered a different kind of pasta. All of them were great, but the Tonnarelli was my favorite!

Great server, friendly ppl working at haymaker, good airflow, nice open kitchen that doesn’t overwhelm the experience or become the focal point. Super comfortable dining experience. Always good oysters, mixed drinks, salads, pasta. Good neighborhood place!!! Also love the decor. Minimalist and bright without being cold or too hip.
