It has closed - very disappointed that I was able to book a table at a restaurant that was no longer in business and luckily found out the night before so could make alternative arrangements!

We've been in several times for breakfast and twice for dinner, staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. The main part of the restaurant is separated from the bar so it's possible to hold a conversation without having to shout which is a real bonus, the atmosphere is still good though. I can thoroughly recommend.

Love this calm restaurant where the music plays but in the background and you can actually have a conversation while eating or having a drink. Food and service - excellent. This was a return visit and will be back again.

Great evening with super food and wine although rather noisy and service was protracted as the restaurant was packed to the gunnells.

I've been here a couple of times before, and it's OK. Nothing outstanding. The lighting is awful - pretty bright which doesn't do anything for the ambiance of the place. The food was OK, my leg of lamb looked like it had been slopped on the plate - one-half meat, one-half peas, that was it. Irish coffee came lukewarm in a red wine glass - odd. Prawn cocktail was 6 prawns on a massive mattress of lettuce with a ton of sauce plopped on top. Luckily we were pretty tipsy by the time we ate....which also numbed the pain of a £200 bill. Such a shame as we had high hopes for it upping the standards of restaurants in East Grinstead when it opened - tbh I'd rather go to Prezzo or a nice country pub in future.

Friendly and polite staff, with excellent person centred skills. Food very good, but some of the dishes served could have a little more refined presentation. I would recommed this restaurant. Lovely for a romantic meal of meal with friends.

We dined in the restaurant for a special occasion. Food was excellent: staff very welcoming and efficient. They even went the extra mile with an indoor firework candle 🎂 for my wife’s Birthday for which I owe them a big thank you. Nice surprise: how did they know?!? Good background music from the bar without being too loud. A great experience- would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely lovely meal and great service! The wine was also very good! Overall an excellent experience and we will defiantly return and recommend
