Service was very good but food was not up to snuff like it should of been. Ordered bottled water but glasses had a funky smell which effected the taste. One of the specials was asparagus soup that tasted flat. Not gourmet quality at all. Shrimp cocktail was sub-par.

The customer service was amazing! From the hostess that greeted us to the awesome wait staff, Camille and Sean were extremely accommodating and friendly! The food was very flavorful and tasted wonderful. The offerings were amazing with many allergy friendly options from entrees to desserts. We had a great experience and will be back again!

I love eating at the Hawthorne and I always order scallops. No scallops very disappointed we thought about leaving but stayed anyway and the food was good but would have been better with the scallops!!!! Service was great!!!!

Our third time here - we always make a point of dining here when we are in the area. Unfortunately the salmon was quite dry and the green beans were tough and chewy. The seafood tower was good not great - everything seemed pre-prepared and had come out of the freezer- while the oysters were tasty it was obvious they were not just shucked- they appeared to have had all the air and moisture sucked out of them. Not what we experienced the first two times we ate there.

Always enjoy this restaurant. Lamb Chops and soup were both excellent. It does seem that prices (up) and portions (down) have changed since last visit, but I couldn't quantify that. Several large and boisterous groups made this Gourmet spot a tad uncomfortable. Also at some point property management may recognize that the very bright mercury vapor lights in the parking garage shine through the restaurant windows and hurt what could be a very romantic and calming view of the outside ponds, waterfalls, and gardens (which incidentally should also be lit at night for more ambience). Still a neighborhood favorite.

For our wedding Anniversary it was pretty awful. To start- the bread at the table was stale, dry and hard. The butter was good! The Wedge salad was served with the rind of the lettuce head…so I couldn’t eat half of the salad.I split it with my husband and his portion was ok, although when cutting it in half, I gave him the portion that I could cut easily. The steaks were pretty good although my friend ordered her filet well done and butterflied and it was served to her medium and butterflied. Very red..she had to send it back and it took over 10 minutes to get it back, at that point everyone was done with their meal. I ordered the filet and crab legs. My steak was perfect, the 3 split crab legs which were actually 1.5 legs of crab, was tough and overcooked. Couldn’t even eat it. The waiter let my soda/Pepsi turn to water and I had to ask for another. Instead of bringing me a new one, he came and added more Pepsi to my half glass of water. Undrinkable. I didn’t even complain because they were too busy with a table of 6 and service dropped off for our table of 4, unless we flagged someone down. My friends Halibut was tough and overcooked…but he ate it because he was hungry. We all didn’t eat the whole day so we could enjoy our big night out!! The side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes was cold and tasteless. The side of Mushrooms was all stems. My friends tried not to complain because it was our Anniversary but it really was a crappy meal. The manager asked how our $250 meal was, so we told her and she took 20% off…still the bill for 2 people was $230 + tip. Never will I go back or recommend this to anyone. In fact, if I hear someone mention it..I will steer them away!!!

The bread they brought was cold and stale and a piece of the rye had something hard in it like a pebble, almost broke a tooth. The lobster tail had a bleachy taste to it, it was horrible and I was concerned for what I was possibly eating. The fish special was good but extremely small. The king crab was good.
