TOOK SOME CLOSE FRIENDS THERE FOR DINNER.
AND WE ALSO HAD BIRTHDAY FOR ONE OF THEM.
EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING.
I'M GOING BACK ON MY BIRTHDAY IN A FEW WEEKS.

One of our favorite places because we can eat outside when the weather is nice. It was great to get out of the house during these crazy times and feel safe.

Always professional and friendly! Chef Megan always checks to make sure everything is perfect! What a team for professional, friendly and helpful service!! Love this place for special occasions and everyday dining!! The food is always delicious and cooked to perfection!

As always, the food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. Just cannot say enough great things about our head waiter, Johnathon, who made our dining experience "over the top"!!!! We shall return!!!!

The Scallop special was excellent. The Veal Chop was also excellent.

Anniversary

The appearance when you walk into the dining area is absolutely depressing!! It’s all dark and, looks like a dungeon!! No table cloth, no ambience!! It’s awful!! What used to be one of the most beautiful breakfast and dining rooms with a rich palace like ambience before Hawthorn Grill came in is now a black hole!! The food was ok angedeutet the service was great!

The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was amazing and the customer service was spectacular oh and the white Muscato was perfect. Would certainly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back!!!

We went out to eat to celebrate my Husbands birthday. The Food was Great - as always!
Our waiter, Elkin, was awesome, excellent!! He was Very personable, knowledgeable about the food/menu, recommendations, polite and fun!! All of the staff, was courteous and attentive.

From a food perspective, this certainly was not one of our better meals. The service however was amazing. Very friendly, attentive and made for an enjoyable evening. The restaurant is beautiful, seating very comfortable. The manager is present and a delight. If the food was better, this would have been a home run for sure.

This place has aGreat happy hour. The Menu has something for everyone. Recommend the Artichoke dip. The burgers is good as well.

Unfortunately, this was our first and last time at this establishment. We ordered a drink and an appetizer and both were very good. We had ordered our dinner but after about 45 minutes- 1 hour of waiting, we asked them to please check on the order. They said we were still number 3 on the list. We asked them to cancel the order since it had been so long and they still seemed in no hurry to get us our food. They did but when we got our check, the entire meal was still charged even though we didn’t get any of it. We told them that we will not be paying for food that we never received. They did take it off but did not seemed worried at all about any inconvenience that they had caused. The Manager walked by us twice to fix the bill without saying a word. It is unfortunate because the one food item we actually received was very good but the lack of customer service was unacceptable.

Food and service were very good. Excellent cocktails and nice wine list. Only complaint was it taking too long for the entree to be served, too long a wait between salad and main course.

It was just ok. I was disappointed with the holiday decorations and table setup.

We were there for Xmas Eve dinner. Four adults and one child. They had to split us up into two tables due to the new COVID regulations and they were still amazing. Oysters, lamb chops and even the kiddie food were perfect. Nice wine list too. We’ll be back again.

The foods very, very delicious, all of us enjoy it very much

This was our third visit. Probably wing be back for quite a while. My steak was overdone and tasted more like pot roast than fillet. Service was very slow. All in all very disappointing for what we paid.

Always love this place

The Crab legs (Alaskan) smelled older and had a bizarre texture. Awful flavor to them and I was afraid of getting sick. The Manager said that they have been serving them all night and we were his first complaint. He offered to buy us a dessert. The waiter didn't have the wine we ordered which was on a 30.00 special for JLohr Cab, he told us he would bring us a 30.00 cab and didn't even let us select it and he opened it before we could tell him, no and it was terrible. They charged us for the bottle after we took one sip and said we wanted to order a different bottle. I rarely ever give reviews, but for a 220.00 meal during covid - you expect a great meal. AWFUL FOOD all around!

Excellent happy hour. Tables of 4 so they gave us 2 tables for 5. Let's tip excessive for our great servers

The food is excellent, expensive but, excellent. Comparably better than Capital Grille or Flemings. Extremely good service. Pleasant. Overall, may favorite.

I am a regular visitor to the Hawthorne Grill and I must say that the salmon I had was the most delicious I have ever had.

Food, service, and ambiance were outstanding. Host, Terry, was a hoot, and made our evening. Would highly recommend.

HOW DO YOU GET OVER GETTING DIRT IN YOU FOOD.

Had drinks a drink in the bar, moved to a booth, ordered crab legs $108 (pricey)
Ordered a shrimp cocktail ($18) 3 shrimp on a bed of greens, ate the shrimp and tasted the greens to see if they were baby watercress.

When I picked up the greens, a large clump of roots and dirt came with it. Someone had pulled the greens from a container and put them into a shrimp bowl without cleaning them.

Manager came over,(Philip Alcala) he did not seem surprised or outraged, he was condescending and he actually told me it was garnish and you are not supposed to eat the garnish.

He offered to comp the shrimp and I said I have never been served dirt before and that was not good enough. He said we could cancel the dinner and leave. He even threatened to call security on my self and my guest a University professor from the UNLV Hospitality school. (Who was appalled).

This place is dirtier than it looks, and they need new management......

Beautiful restaurant in an exceptional setting. inside and out. Attentive service and wonderful faire!

Dining just not the same during Covid. As soon as this pandemic is over they will deserve 5 stars again.
