   Never has a bad meal at Hawksmoor.. until today. Sunday roast was bland. Roast potatoes- rock hard. It was my son’s birthday and some nuggets came to the table. I said we didn’t order them and was told they were complimentary only for them to appear on our bill at the end of the meal!! Drinks completely watered down with too much ice. Not good at all.

   We were so impressed with our first visit that we have returned several times - treating our children, grandchildren and, this time, our closest friends to the delights of Hawksmoor. And every one of them had a very similar reaction, that: “That is the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had”. We agree. And once again the food, service and ambiance were all exceptional. Sincere thanks to all your brilliant staff. We will see you all soon.

   The food took a little while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. My wife and I had the Sunday feast with chateaubriand, one of our daughters chose the children’s roast, and the other went for a ribeye. Everything was really tasty. The bone marrow gravy was especially good — worked great with the beef and Yorkshire puddings. For dessert, the kids had ice cream and we shared Hawksmoor’s take on tiramisu. It was a bit different, with some ice cream hidden in the middle. Definitely one to share — big enough for two or more. The prices were on the high side for Liverpool, but the food and service were excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

   Amazing experience. The food was just perfect , the service was great and the venue had the right balance of incredible food in a beautiful venue with just the right amount of casual dining.

   My first visit in Hawksmoor in a while. I almost forgot how good it can be. I enjoyed every bit of it!

   Fantastic restaurant with such lovely friendly staff. We had the express deal which was such fantastic value. The food was lovely and what was really nice was the way the server knew who had ordered what without having to check when bringing our steaks to us. It’s the little things like this, as well as the beautiful streaks of course, that makes the Hawksmoor stand out from the others.

   No one on reception had to wait not much vibe The Ivy is much better similar food wine but much better all round pull your socks up!

    Another amazing experience at hawksmoor, our server was just so attentive and fantastic. Food was nothing less than exceptional. Came with a friend and it was his first time trying to which he was very delighted.
