   BYOB on Monday is a good deal, especially given the price of the restaurant's wine list. Steak was huge (£160) and perfect. Starters were good too. Disappointed at the prices for some of the sides. E.g. 6 asparagus stalks for £8.50. Nice ambience, not 'stuffy'.. but please train your servers to not stretch in front of one diner to place the food for the other. Walk around!

   Lovely dining experience in a fabulous building, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely to deal with and fun too. We had dined in Hawskmoor in Dublin and we were excited to try Liverpool and it didn’t disappoint.

   The side dishes were poor quality for example we ordered chunky chips and green and where very underwhelmed by the portion size and quality. The chips had alot of scraps

   Excellent food, great service, beautiful restaurant. Is quite expensive, however you are certainly paying for the quality. Would highly recommend.

   Staff were pleasant and assisted my mum who required wheelchair access. However, service was slow and the food was poor. I even had to send back fried eggs which were burned black! Burgers were like rubber. Fries were no better than McDonald’s and were not what I remembered from previous visits. Shame, as this was my third visit having enjoyed the previous two. I was additionally let down because it was my sister’s birthday and I had recommended Hawksmoor to her and the other guests. Way overpriced especially the fries and small canned lager. Will give Gaucho a chance next time.

   Had chicken for lunch as I’ve always had steak and omg it was the most delicious chicken I’ve ever had so juicy and succulent. Husband had the burger and chips and he loved it. The triple cooked chips and salad were so yummy! Thanks for the help of Holly and Charlie we really appreciated your attention and service today and the sommelier who advised us on wines for our event. We are back in a few weeks for a private event looking forward to it.

   One of the best choices in Liverpool! The food, the atmosphere and the service were great! The lady who served our table was very polite and helpful. Thank you for the great night!

    We received the most wonderful welcome from Gemma. What an amazing person. Everyone is so friendly and Gemma explained the details of the menu to us. We chose a couple of cocktails to start - both incredible choices. I had the Sour Cherry Negroni whilst my husband had the Shaky Pete’s Ginger Brew (his name is Peter!). Both were absolutely divine. Our food was perfect, we both enjoyed three courses, each one cooked to perfection. My husband had the Rump Steak and said it was the nicest rump steak he’d ever eaten. My starter of the Beetroot was exceptional, and definitely worth noting. Gemma is a hugely capable person and her attention to detail is admirable. Thank you Gemma for all you did to make the start of my husband’s 60th birthday weekend so very special. All of your team are amazing. Thank you everyone. Keep up the important task of preparing sensational food and presenting it with genuine smiles.
