   For such a renowned steakhouse the meal was just ok. The food was good, the steak cooked a little beyond medium rare and all the apps & sides were ok. The wine list, in my opinion, was weak and a little overpriced. The service, again, was just ok. Nothing terrible but it fell short of what a fine steakhouse should be. Sorry to say, the value was just not there.

   Great venue even as a solo dinner. Bar staff fantastic made my favourites even if different from the menu.

   From the money we arrived and Douglas the Barman greeted us with his friendly charm and pour us a couple of drinks , you felt a local. The food was amazing really good , yes it’s pricey. But not “how much “expensive. it is defo a special occasion place . Sarah are waitress was amazing talked us through everything and the service was top quality.

   Our server was awesome. Very attentive and provided great recommendations based on our preferences. Don’t know his name but he’s from Manchester. Cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend. Wonderful dinner!!!

   We had booked for a table for 2 at 4:30pm but were early & they seated us on arrival. We were looking forward to having a Sunday roast to be told when we went to order that sadly they had ran out of the roast & sides. Our server then advised that we could pick a cut of steak of our choice & that they would cover the cost of our choice of sauce & sides. It honestly was so lovely, every server we had was more than helpful & it was overall a lovely experience. Thank you so much!

   Great steak! It’s a great place to eat. We didn’t opt for the Sunday dinner option but from what we saw that looked good too. It’s not a cheap place to eat, it would have been £27pp for the Sunday dinner + £9pp for all the trimmings (which you have to get or your just eating meat!). We went for a starter which was a Yorkshire pudding and potted beef with gravy (really tasty!) and then the best of the best steak which you pay per 100g, ours was £16 per 100g and we got a 500g steak to share between two + 2 sides at approx £8 per side which was enough. In total with a drink each (4 of us all together) the bill was about £286. The steak was amazing! The sides great, the atmosphere and staff great too. We would go again in a heartbeat! Yes it’s fairly expensive but it was well worth it. You can get cheaper steaks and different meals too. We came away very happy and satisfied.

   Service was very warm, professional, and efficient. Food was served warm at most and the bone marrow, even after having it replaced because it was served tepid, was still cold inside the second time arrow.
