Welcome to Hawksmoor Chicago, our biggest and boldest steakhouse yet, located in the iconic LaSalle Powerhouse in River North. We've brought everything we've learned from nearly 20 years in the UK, Ireland and the US to create something genuinely special in downtown Chicago - a city that knows and loves great steak.     Sundays at Hawksmoor are all about our Sunday Roast: all-natural, dry-aged, slow-roasted Rump served with crispy beef dripping potatoes, Caraflax cabbage and carrots, gigantic Yorkshire puddings, lashings of bone marrow & onion gravy and the option for a side of cauliflower cheese or slow-roasted bone marrow and onions. Sunday Roast dates back to the 15th century where large joints of meat were roasted on a spit over an open fire; to achieve a similar flavor, we start ours on our charcoal grill and finish them in the oven. Many who've had a Sunday Roast equate it to a Thanksgiving dinner – a comforting, filling meal that is best in the company of loved ones. And, should a Bloody Mary, or two, be consumed alongside it, who are we to judge?

    Have you heard of our Monday Wine Club? It’s a simple concept: bring any wine you like – doesn’t matter if it’s a first-growth Bordeaux or a bottle of Barefoot – and we’ll only charge you $10 corkage (for up to two bottles). Not sure what to buy? Take a stroll over to our neighbors at the Aqua Wine & Spirits store (they’re literally on the other side of the street) and they’ll help you choose something to make your meal pop. You can even call us ahead of time and ask one of our somms what they suggest.

                                                                                                          Overpriced new spot with mediocre food and all the charm of a gas station. Entrees generally ok but side dishes were tiny and 2/3 were tasteless. Especially limited yet pricey wine list. Including an ordinary Wilamette pinot for 200, our bill for 4 was 750. I give it 6 months

                                                                                                          Overall, our food was really good and our server was excellent!!!! I think $30 for a glass of wine is ridiculous and overall it’s a very, very very pricey place. With tip and Bill I paid for just myself $265. That’s just ridiculous.!!!!!!!! I would go back if it wasn’t so expensive and honestly, I can just go to Gibsons if I’m gonna spend that much money. The martinis were ridiculously small and they had ice chunks in them. I said a skim of ice on top from being shaken really well not ice chunks.

                                                                                                          New spot for us! Had drinks at the bar before dinner, nice bartender fun and interactive. Dinner was great! We essentially ordered the same meals with different temps. Side a were great. Mac and cheese, rosemary creamed spinach, mushrooms and sautéed onions. Interesting wine list, I’m normally really good with wines and boutique wineries, this was an interesting list. The sommelier came over, I told him what liked and a price range, he did good! 2 of three of us loved the deserts, I was the odd one out. Although!!! I had a taste of the blueberry sorbet, wow!!! I’d have ordered a bucket of it!
