Entering through a private elevator, guests are greeted by stunning city views & lush greenery complemented by custom-built cedar wood furnishings. A variety of trees and floral arrangements accent the 2500 square-foot space, with plush earth-tone seating areas & creating a sultry and inviting aesthetic. The entire space is encased by glass walls, allowing guests to view the city lights and enjoy the Midtown views while remaining in the chic & intimate confines of the rooftop.

Overall it was a good experience. To be honest, I thought the view was going to be better based on the website description. The menu is a small selection, but my party of 5 all enjoyed their meal. The portions are not big, but a decent meal. We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Although they did not have a complimentary dessert for birthdays, our server Domas bought out a sparkle and they sang and put birthday music on which was something at least. Overall, I would visit again, because it was still a nice experience, although slightly disappointed we did not get a window seat.
Awesome experience! Good good, good price and great vibe!
It was a wonderful - almost secret place to dine. We loved the ambience, the service and the food!
We have dined here several times over the years, usually before a theatrical event. We went there again on Saturday, March 7th. The avocado and crab appetizer was outstanding as was a perfectly cooked salmon entree. A ziti dish was fine and a margherita pizza was as well. It's a bit hard to see the entrance from the street and you have to thread your way through a restaurant and bar area to get to the elevator for the ride to the roof. The place was lively and the music on the loud side (I suppose both to cater to a young crowd).
Coming from a broadway show, the expectation was for this to be a great dinner. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was a little loud, but it was Saturday night and there is a bar so we knew what to expect. Service was amazing, and Stephen was very attentive as well. The young lady who helped while he was on break was awesome also though I feel terrible that I can’t think of her name. Between the salmon and the steak, there was nothing disappointing on the plates. The guacamole was very good and tasted fresh. The creme brûlée was insane. Both the depth of flavor as well as the presentation was off the hook.
You can’t see much of it from street side, but believe me, it’s worth the trip up the tiny NYC elevator to the roof to spend an evening at Haven.
We had a good time. We ate fried calamari and the Mojitos were great. They brought shot skis out which was a fun 1st. Would go out there again.
Honestly, Axel knocked it out of the park. We had the BEST everything. We’re on our honeymoon and we plan to come back, maybe tonight! 10/10 recommend going and enjoy the best experience, while also GORGEOUS, and being in the heart of NYC.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day with my lady on leap day
Girls Day Out!!!
Our waiter Stephen was PHENOMENAL
Amazing crab Benedict and truffle fries. Services was ok, but not very attentive.
We expected a more romantic place for our 50th anniversary. It was ok but not what we expected. For our anniversary the waiter handed me something and it erupted with sparkles. Wrong place for romantic dinners but the location really could be great.
Took my wife for her birthday. Not as good a view as I had imagined. Food was good not great. My Havenly chicken was dry. Beer was good. Service was ok. Overall not a great bang for the buck.. I probably would not return..
Fantastic place. I've worked on 47 for almost 10 years and only after moving out of NY and coming back as a tourist I discovered this amazing place. Wish it happened 10 years ago. Beautiful rooftop view of NYC.
It was ok. Service was nice. Friendly. Our order didnt come out right which is fine. They just forgot the sides. Not a huge deal. We started with the "Freshly Baked Bread Basket" for $12. I dont recommend. It was a basket of 6 small chocolate croissants. Sounds lovely but how are 2 ppl going to eat 6 croissants when they are cold hard and not good. There was nothing fresh about them. And I never complain about food. Or desserts. Not what I was expecting but it doesnt specify what type of bread so I probably should of asked. Avocado toast was delicious. Never got side of bacon even though we asked. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and it was good. Its very pretty inside so if you are going for a bday or large group definitely try it out.
It was a birthday dinner and the table was extremely small and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. I’d asked prior with the reservation to make sure I had the best table but that was not honored. The staff attempted to relocate us to a different table however it was just as small. I would not recommend this place.
Great food and deinks!!!
Food was good but a bit rushed. Had a 7:30 reservation and we were done by 8:15. Sat there after paying bill just to make a little bit more out of the night. Food was good though. One thing though... two men Kept walking past our table and staring at us and the food and kept taking every single dish away that was not being used, even though I still could have probably used it for something. It just seemed very rushed and pressured.
The wait to go upstairs to rooftop takes forever because coat check is so slow. And you apparently have to go up with the hostess. Waiter kept standing behind me and leaving on chair so I had to awkwardly crank my body and head around to speak to him.
Loved the food and atmosphere
This is a lower level rooftop off of Times Square. You will not have a good view from this restaurant if that is what you are looking for.
23rd wedding anniversary
Food is absolutely delicious. Best sauce I’ve had on a filet mignon ever!
A bit of a cold draft coming from window sills other than that excellent place.
We went on February 16. We made a reservation more than 2 weeks in advance for 2 people at 7:30. The day before they called and said there was a mixup and we had to come earlier or later they had nothing at 7:30. So we went earlier the food was good service good table not so good but we had a fun time . They were not crowded and when we finished and left by 8 pm it really was empty. I asked why we had to change our reservation but no real clear answer.
Bit cold but cute dinner date for Valentine’s!
If you are thinking to take someone here for a nice dinner date, prepare to be disappointed. While mostly edible, the food was terrible - I was charged $105 for a meal I wouldn't pay more than $12 for based on the low quality of ingredients and preparation; the music was absolutely awful; the ambiance was all wrong; there is no real view to speak of; and they had too many staff scurrying about all the time, making it feel far more busy and stressful than it needed to be. We had a nice waiter, but we were served food by random people who didn't know what we ordered. I think this is one of those places that is pretending to be really nice but it's all fake and shockingly low quality.
Food portion was small and the windows were n’t clear enough to have a view of the city from the roof top, which essentially was the purpose of eating there. Terrible scenery and mediocre entree.
We went for Valentine’s Day prefix! Food was delicious however the steak was really small. Food came out fast - almost felt rushed. However beautiful place, great ambiance, and good service!
it was nice and expensive
It was very cold , overpriced . The service was good and the food was mediocre
Outstanding service. Great food
It was a little cold , by the bar side was very cold
The rest was great, food delicious !
Went for Valentines Day. Great food and service. Beautiful setting. Would have like a couple of pictures, but did not want to disturb any other guest. Great night out.
Awesome restaurant in great location. Friendly staff.
Dress a little nice. I wasn’t allowed to wear my toque upstairs.
great views, good food and nice value for mid town location. I would visit again
Good food- service-prices reasonable for nyc-Great Ambience would definitely eat there again - perfect for in-between Harry Potter part 1& 2
Server was great, friendly and helpful when ordering! Great atmosphere and food was cooked perfectly!
A bit of the noisy side although there was a somewhat separate dining area where it was a little quieter. Music was still quite loud though.
Shrimp cocktail was great and nice presentation. The burrata itself was delicious, but the tomato was too soft. A little disappointing there but the sauce over it was also quite good.
Nice place I’d go back to!
It must have been a unusual evening - but the restaurant was very slow - but we had great drinks, service and food - We will be back
