Haven Rooftop Ratings and Reviews
I went here for a special family occasion of three birthdays while we were visiting NYC. The food was great and the staff did a fantastic job of helping me in surprising my kids and sister with special birthday desserts and made the whole night really special. Really friendly staff here, fantastic food (steak au poivre was top class). Thanks again to Frederico - top class service.
The kitchen had run out of what I ordered by 6:15 p.m.. Despite telling the hostess we have theater tickets twice, we were never brought the pre-theater dinner menus. We were also told would have to wait for seats despite having a reservation and notifying them that we have theater tickets
We had so much fun took the kids there after a day of museums. The view was spectacular and the staff extremely attentative and just nice people. I recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy good food and enjoy being in the heart of Times Square viewing the sites.
Went with a friend without knowing anything about this restaurant. It was really quaint and fun. All the servers were dressed in Day of the Dead Mexican makeup. They were attentive and fun. The food was clean and delicious. The drinks were on point and we had a great roof top experience. Fun place for a lively date w good food.
My husband and I went there in October and it was fine but we expected more from a rooftop restaurant. We both got fish and I felt that it was dry, and just felt more like a lunch place than a nice night out. Would probably look to go somewhere else when we get back to NY, but if the temporary walls were down and the weather was nice I could see it being a fun spot.
I went for dinner with my sister and 5 year old niece in the early evening (5pm). I had the Travelzoo voucher for a bottle of wine, appetizer, and entrees. For a Times Square area restaurant it was good: not too noisy or crowded; we were seated right away and the wait staff was attentive; the food was good and kid-friendly.
This is a restaurant that seems to specialize in a party atmosphere. We wanted a quick pre-theatre family dinner, and this didn't deliver as well as we hoped. It was noisy, and the party groups seemed to have priority in getting seated over the dinner patrons. Aside from this, the location is great, and the service was pleasant and quick.
We were there to celebrate a birthday, that I made staff aware of the day day before, with the thought they might seat us in a desirable location or perhaps offer a dessert to the birthday girl. Instead we were seated by the elevator,no acknowledgement of our celebration, and there was some confusion about how we could use our Travel Zoo voucher. The rooftop terrace is very pleasing on warm nights, but noisy. Food acceptable but very small portions for what they charge. And...they reported that we were a "no show" to Open Table, so guess we were invisible to staff.
