Entering through a private elevator, guests are greeted by stunning city views & lush greenery complemented by custom-built cedar wood furnishings. A variety of trees and floral arrangements accent the 2500 square-foot space, with plush earth-tone seating areas & sheer white fabric draped among the intimate cabanas, creating a sultry and inviting aesthetic. loved the place Highly recommend for a date night VS. three ladies after theater dinner
We were seated promptly but asked to be reseated due to our table filled with ants that were coming out of the wall. We were moved without issue. However, maybe an appetizer or drink on the house? Just good service. The views were ok but this restaurant not worth the hype. Would I go back? Yes. However, not anytime soon. As a New Yorker there are many better places.
We enjoyed our visit to Haven Rooftop. The steak was delicious, but for the money we paid, we should not have been given instant mashed potatoes. They looked like something out of a tv dinner. I would think for $45, someone could peel the potatoes. But, aside from that, the service was good, the atmosphere was nice and overall it was a nice experience.
We went for a double birthday dinner as hotel guests before a show. We asked to share a couple of entrees with our daughters and the meals weren’t divided, nor were enough plates provided, so we had to cut the meat and use side plates for our girls. We asked to have a different type of salad and we’re told that there was no way to do that, so we had to order two salads to get what we wanted. We all had drinks including multiple glasses of wine. When we finished our entree, I tried multiple times to get our waiter’s attention, but he was too busy joking around with his colleagues to notice. We asked the hostess if she could get him, but in the end she cleared away our plates and took our dessert orders. The Creme brûlée was runny, and very disappointing. Nobody asked us how our meal was, so we paid and left. Not the Birthday meal we were hoping for.... The hotel was great so we expected the same service at the restaurant, but we were wrong.
My poached eggs were hard boiled, poor service not worth the price.
it was good
Our server was too busy dancing to check on us, the view was awful and the food worse. As hotel guests, we were sat in a corner with absolutely no view and the restaurant was not even half full. Extremely disappointed.
Pre-theater dinner in a fun and lovely atmosphere! We shared plates and had great cocktails!
Discretion is a word they do not understand. Party of 6 to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and we all had to provide ID at the lobby to eat dinner/drinks. Clearly 4 of us well over 40 and 2 in their 20s. 40 yr old male lost his wallet and thank God he had a picture of his license which manager accepted after having a few words. That was an indication that we should have left but we gave it a chance. They sat us in the worst area after requesting best view. Birthday girl walked around and found a better table with a decent view. Drinks were weak and highly overpriced and appetizers were horrible. Views were horrible and internet pics are highly deceiving. Don’t waste your time or money, plenty of other places to go to and that’s exactly what we did. We were over dressed for this place. I guess they get away with this stuff since they take advantage of the tourists. Residents of this city, please stay away. Not worth your time or money.
Beautiful view and great drinks. Food menu was a bit small but I went there for the ambience. Over all a great place to hang out for the evening.
The excellent place and good food.
Great food, drinks, ambience and service! Our bartender was awesome and so is the rest of the staff.
Terrible terrible terrible
The view was nice. The food was good and If you don't care about exceptional service then I would recommend the Rooftop.
I was actually looking for more of an overall "experience" and was disappointed.
Very nice. Food was very good and so was the service. The view was ok. Two many buildings around
This is an incredible location that ruins it all by hiring unprofessional staff who have no concept of good service
From the doormen telling guests they are opening the doors the wrong way (!) to servers who spend most of their time talking to each other about how drunk they got last night / will get this night to food that is poorly made and slow to be served, the place is a mess.
No wonder the place was less than 20% occupied on a Sunday evening. I give them less than a year given the competition in Times Square.
Despite having a reservation and there being at least 5 open tables the entire time we were at the restaurant the host sat us so close to the table next to us we could barley cut our food without knocking elbows. Our server was so rude he rushed us to order as soon as we sat down and acted completely inconvenienced when we asked for a refill of our drinks and continued to rush us the entire evening. Although the aesthetic is cute I would not recommend this place.
Amazing meal and experience at this restaurant. Perfect surroundings and staff. Thank you.
Delicious food, great city view, and excellent service. We will be back!
Cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks were great as well as service.
The food and drinks were good. The place itself was lovely. However, the service was horrible. Waiter barely came to check on us, only did when we called him over, which also wasn’t easy. We had to tell a bust boy to find him. Sadly, won’t go back due to the service. If they make changes I will.
It is great. Obviously NYC prices but the same as everywhere else. Highly recommend.
Despite booking weeks in advance they Put 5 of us in a table for 4 - my wife had to sit with her legs out to the side... makes the booking a bit pointless... food was average and waitress didn’t come back for order then we found had clocked off... ! Expensive fir the service we received.
Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Ambiente sehr gut und das Steak perfekt. Die Atmosphäre sehr locker und entspannt.
We loved this place. Warm and pretty. Drinks and food good also. Recommend.
Our server was wonderful. Recommended the perfect drinks for us
Went for a “great view”- host sat us right by elevator where there was no view, many tables were open- better views are upon request. Nice experience overall. 3/5
Extra ambiance vue décor nourriture rien à redire a essayer
New Years Eve
We went for my husbands birthday. The staff was super nice and friendly and the server was very attentive and had an incredible memory. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a true NYC experience.
Waitress was very nice! Food was good. Truffle fries were really good. Being there for brunch you don't get the vibe as you would at night. You really don't see much from the Haven rooftop. Too many bldgs in the way. I was looking for a more exciting experience but again I was there during the day.
Staff not welcoming, quite the opposite. Not helpful, rude and short. Despite having reservation did not get a seat. Did not eat, bar is nice enough, view restricted.
Food was amazing and drinks were strong
Food was awesome, ambiance was great and friendly... great place to go out on a date. The view was not as enjoyable because it was dark and we sat across from another building's wall.
Photos make the venue seem more than it is, but we still had some fun. Ask to be seated in the back, there is a little more space. Soup, fries and smores kit for two were excellent. A little overpriced, but it is a cute place to hang out.
Our waiter Axl was excellent in recommending the specials. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The food was delicious, but definitely make a reservation or you will be standing in line.
