Fall is here! Nestled in the heart of Times Square in the bustling Theater District, Haven Rooftop, offers a welcome retreat from the hectic streets below.
Entering through a private elevator, guests are greeted by stunning city views & lush greenery complemented by custom-built cedar wood furnishings. A variety of trees and floral arrangements accent the 2500 square-foot space, with plush earth-tone seating areas & creating a sultry and inviting aesthetic. The entire space is encased by glass walls, allowing guests to view the city lights and enjoy the Midtown views while remaining in the chic & intimate confines of the rooftop. In the colder months, the entire rooftop is enclosed and heated.

    Excellent meal. Had the breakfast sandwich, felt like it had 3 eggs! Yum! Love the location and the view. Service was good. Music was a little loud, but we managed to have good conversation. Small thing - I was getting dripped on (it was raining). We had a lovely time.

    We came celebrating our birthdays and anniversary and while we enjoyed the food and our server was wonderful, it was quite loud, the “dress code” wasn’t clearly stated before attending. It also said “$$” on the Google food page and I would definitely say this was “$$$” as my husband and I walked out spending well over $100 on an entree, salad, 2 beers, and 1 appetizer. Nice experience but we will be picking something else next time. And the view was poor. Very poor.

    The food was better than expected: Lobster roll (not too large) was delicious and yes, came with a ton of fries and the Crab snd Avocado eggs Benedict - cooked perfectly and great combination. Had 2 cocktails from the menu and both were spot on. For midtown NYC, I felt the prices were not unusually high. Nice vibe.

    Didn’t necessarily go in for happy hour but it was that time and HH menu in table looked appealing. My chief complaint is our server kept pulling us away from it and 2hrs was cut into one. We asked and they said it was because they got busy..hook and bait tactics aren’t cool. Sketchy.

    Very cool spot, decked out in Christmas decorations! The food wasn’t bad, but I think it was overpriced considering the quality and portions. Fairly simple, small mains with a lot of fries as the side which is not worth $30. Would have ordered a pizza or something instead if I went back. We got a bucket of beers, 10 for $70 which was awesome. Unfortunately a lot of our choices for appetizers were sold out, but may have been because we came for a late dinner. The biggest disappointment was our arrival and how long it took for a server to come to us. We were sat down at 9:10 (5 mins before our reservation) and did not get a server for 20 minutes. At that point the restaurant was not busy and the servers were convening right infront of us. We asked to move tables as we were also right infront of the kitchen window which was loud. We were moved to another section and then still waited over 10 minutes for the server to come back. All in all we sat down at 9:10 and didn’t receive our drinks until 9:50. He then had to take our food order right away because it was last call for the kitchen. Overall the staff was very friendly, just disappointing we had to wait so long to be served even when it was not busy.

    Overall, the food and service were excellent. When our main course arrived before we had finished our starters, the server offered to have a new plate prepared which, while we declined, was greatly appreciated.

    This place was great! First customer service was outstanding! I made reservations based on our show and distance but we arrived early…an hour! And they accommodated us right away! The food, drinks and vibe were awesome! The truffle fries…yummy

    We had the truffle mushroom spaghetti and lobster roll. The spaghetti was fabulous, I would order that time and again. The lobster roll was great, just as you'd expect a lobster roll. The hostess could not have been bothered by us to stop texting when we arrived, so that was a bit disappointing. Aside from her disregard, the server was lovely and the atmosphere was great!

    The service was very poor. We watched our waiter stand and do nothing against a wall, and we watched people come in after us. We watched them get served, and leave before we even got our food. The service was not great considering the price of the meal.

    The food is not good at all. And the view on top of the rooftop isn’t as good as I thoguht it would be. Too many tall buildings surrounding this place, so it blocks the view of the city.

    I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. We went on a Saturday night. City was packed because of the xmas tree but this place was not busy and great service. It was decorated nicely especially for pictures. Food was excellent and drinks were good. Will definitely be coming back.

    Too hot, too noisy, excellent server, nice doormen downstairs, horrible margherita pizza best butternut squash ever eaten in my life. It was okay but wont be back. Everyone likes different things. The roof top was not really a roof top. Its all closed in and there is zero view. The hostess was not charming but the rest of the staff was super kind.

    The pictures said it was supposed to be a holiday pop up bar and it did not look like what it was advertised to be. Although the drinks were refreshing I would not go here if you want to experience a holiday type of atmosphere

    It was very nice, cozy and pleasant. However, the coffee I ordered was very bad quality. I am always looking for a very good coffee and this did not met my expectations. I did enjoy the pumpkin cheesecake. Thank you!

    This is one of my favorite rooftops in the city. Their brunch never disappoints. I'd highly recommend the blueberry french toast. Definitely a spot I'd highly recommend.

    Always love coming here before or after shows! Great rooftop that’s enclosed during cold months which is great! Food doesn’t blow me away but it’s good. Cocktails are creative - definitely get their espresso martini! All in all lovely experience and great photo ops if you go with your girlfriends!

    SO disappointing…This was not really a “rooftop” experience. It is enclosed with high plexiglass and the building is not very high in the middle of a block so really nothing to see. The calamari was like chewing rubber. Service was somewhat friendly when they were present. I wish that I had chosen a different restaurant for a rooftop dining experience.

    I had heard great things about about Haven Rooftop. I thought the food was average. The Caesar salad was fishy. The chicken blt was good - I did not feel like the restaurant had great service - the waitress did not come back to check on us. I would not return. There are so many other restaurants in the city.

    I can not give a very good feedback because we had to wait too long. We had a reservation for 8:30pm but we had to wait 50minutes. So our start was at 9:20pm and this is a no go. Service and food was very good but with the start of 50 minutes of waiting (and we paid for that), this was a bad deal for us. Sorry

    We had a pre-paid reservation for Thanksgiving at 8 pm and we still had to wait for our table about one hour. The place was chaotic, the music was too loud and the service was not very friendly. The food was good and the views are nice. However, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Very pleasant place. Good food. Evrything was perfect. Just when you arrive you have to wait at the bar of the hotel before taking the lift to go to the rooftop. People of the bar want you to have a drink.

    Haven Rooftop is just money machine, had a reservation for 7:00pm, had to wait 30 min for the table😤, the food was like fast food, no taste at all. I believe you can find better restaurants for the money you pay.

    Went for thanksgiving, place seemed fairly busy but not too bad, got in not long after our reservation time though we had just gotten drinks in the bar that they wouldn’t let us take to the dining room. Waited over an hour for salads and with empty drinks while several other tables that were seated after us had already gotten food. We would have walked out if it hadn’t been a prepaid pre-fixe menu. When entrees did finally come out, the food would have actually been pretty good if wasn’t all cold. They at least covered our drink bill but would not recommend or go back again.
