Fall is upon us! Nestled in the heart of Times Square in the bustling Theater District, Haven Rooftop, offers a welcome retreat from the hectic streets below.
Entering through a private elevator, guests are greeted by stunning city views & lush greenery complemented by custom-built cedar wood furnishings. A variety of trees and floral arrangements accent the 2500 square-foot space, with plush earth-tone seating areas & creating a sultry and inviting aesthetic. The entire space is encased by glass walls, allowing guests to view the city lights and enjoy the Midtown views while remaining in the chic & intimate confines of the rooftop. In the colder months, the entire rooftop is enclosed and heated.

    I specifically asked for a city view in my booking. We were placed under this canopy thing with no view of the city. They had a month to get the right table for us. Then the server we saw maybe 4 times. She was quick to inform us of a 90 minute max period but then we waited on her to appear for 30 minutes after we were done eating. Being pushy on a 90 minute period seems more effective if the table doesn’t have to wait 30 minutes on nothing.

    Dear Spouse and i had drinks and dinner last week at Haven. The atmosphere is about as open and upbeat as you will find in central NYC. The food was acceptable and our server was spot on. Reservations are necessary.

    It is considered a “rooftop” but it is very crowded and small, with an actual roof. Did not have any food so cannot attest to that. Drinks were good. Was not impressed overall.

    We weren’t sure what to expect having read mixed reviews. The food was good and came out quickly. Our waiter was great and carefully wrapped the wine bottle so that we could take the remainder to our hotel. It doesn’t have any particular views but it was nice to sit under a canopy on a lovely warm evening.

    Menu is limiting and expensive. We weren’t impressed, we expected it to be more sophisticated given the ‘dress code’ and hoped it would be, It wasn’t. We tried it, won’t be doing it again or recommending.

    Steak & eggs!! Perfectly prepared tender flank steak with peppercorn sauce & fluffy scrambled eggs (my choice). Home fries were also excellent! My major disappointment was the inability to watch the US Open (huge fan) d/t factors not of the restaurant’s fault. The whole Disney/ESPN vs. Spectrum was really inconvenient if you were in a hotel.

    We enjoyed the Haven Rooftop! The drinks were delicious. If you like some spice then try the Cielo. The charcuterie board and calamari were excellent. The board is definitely enough for 4 people). We also shared the sliders. They were a little too pink for me but very juicy. The DJ was playing a very eclectic mix. Fantastic views and great ambience. We will be back.

    This is a cute restaurant right near broadway and time square. We didn't really have much of a view except of the side of a beautiful church but it was nice to be seated outside on a beautiful late afternoon. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Definitely no complaints. I had the solstice cocktail which was very sweet but I liked it for the most part. I also had the caesar salad which is big enough for 2 persons to share. For my dinner I had the flatbread pizza with prosciutto which was just ok. Came out at room temperature. Other than that it seems like a fun place, we were there early because we were going to a show. At 6pm a DJ started playing music and it started livening up at bit. I know in some of the reviews said the wait staff disappeared but we did not have that problem at all. Everyone was very nice and on the ball.

    Starters came but mine was not what I ordered. They bought the correct one once husband had finished his. I was putting the last mouthful in my mouth and they bought our main with started plates still on table. Did not get clean cutlery was told to take used off starter plate. Not offered another drink till finished and ready to leave.

    Our recent visit had some room for improvement. The hostess warmly seated us, and the initial service was pleasant. However, there were some gaps in the attentiveness of our waitress, who took our order but unfortunately didn't check in on us afterward. To maintain the flow of the evening, we had to directly request another round of drinks from the bartender. Additionally, we had to ask for the check when we were ready to leave. On a positive note, the food was truly enjoyable with no complaints. Despite these minor setbacks, the potential for a perfect 5/5 experience was evident had the waitress shown more dedication to her role. It's worth noting that the bartender and hostess provided commendable service, which influenced our decision to leave a 10% tip.

    Molti ristoranti di questo tipo nn vogliono bambini, questo nn dava indicazioni e io ho portato la mia bimba di 5 anni, abituata ad andare a mangiare al ristorante. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo preso tre piatti principali, Pizza buona e buono anche il resto. Prezzi in linea con gli altri ristoranti della zona, ma vale il viaggio, essere su un terrazzo sopra la città. Pienamente soddisfatta. Perfetto per la cena ma il top sarebbe andare per un aperitivo/cena al tramonto. Consigliato!!

    Service was terrible. Our server took forever with drinks. Once food was dropped off he never came back to check on us. Had to ask another server to bring our check. Very over priced for mediocre food and bad service.

    Beautiful rooftop restaurant. Service was wonderful, waitress and hostess were very friendly and suggestions were very good. We were hungry so the charcuterie board tasted like the best thing we ever ate, but was really just a few cheese slices and some salami. Fries were awesome with Havenly chicken and my husband’s fish was cooked perfectly! Great meal for our first night in NYC.

    Nothing but good things to say about the place and the food! It was our final day in NYC and it was great to end the weekend with brunch. We also had bottomless mimosas (could have alternated with peach bellinis) and the server was spot on with refills during that hour! Can’t wait to go again soon!

    It was a little upsetting to make reservations at 2:30pm without knowledge that the kitchen closes at 3pm. I think that should be expressed at the time of making the reservation OR the reservations should still be able to order food.

    First time dining here. When you get up to the rooftop its very cute loved the decor. I ordered a red sky for my drink and the garnish was super sloppy and with every sip i was crunching on salt i sent it back it was terrible. My husband and I ordered the charcuterie board to share and it was delicious. My meal was the filet with truffle mashed potatoes, filet was super chewy and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant awful. My husband ordered the havenly chicken and that is what saved the meal. We pretty much split it. Our server was a joke never checked on us once to see how anything was. Terrible experience for what was supposed to be a nice night out

    Place has a cool and fun vibe. When arriving, it seems like you are going to a secret place because you must get past the outside door guys and then the desk inside to get the ok to go up to the roof. We had a reservation so was no problem, but was cool to go through that process. Food and drinks were good. We enjoyed the whole experience.
