23rd wedding anniversary
Food is absolutely delicious. Best sauce I’ve had on a filet mignon ever!
A bit of a cold draft coming from window sills other than that excellent place.
Bit cold but cute dinner date for Valentine’s!
If you are thinking to take someone here for a nice dinner date, prepare to be disappointed. While mostly edible, the food was terrible - I was charged $105 for a meal I wouldn't pay more than $12 for based on the low quality of ingredients and preparation; the music was absolutely awful; the ambiance was all wrong; there is no real view to speak of; and they had too many staff scurrying about all the time, making it feel far more busy and stressful than it needed to be. We had a nice waiter, but we were served food by random people who didn't know what we ordered. I think this is one of those places that is pretending to be really nice but it's all fake and shockingly low quality.
Food portion was small and the windows were n’t clear enough to have a view of the city from the roof top, which essentially was the purpose of eating there. Terrible scenery and mediocre entree.
We went for Valentine’s Day prefix! Food was delicious however the steak was really small. Food came out fast - almost felt rushed. However beautiful place, great ambiance, and good service!
It was very cold , overpriced . The service was good and the food was mediocre
Outstanding service. Great food
Went for Valentines Day. Great food and service. Beautiful setting. Would have like a couple of pictures, but did not want to disturb any other guest. Great night out.
Awesome restaurant in great location. Friendly staff.
Dress a little nice. I wasn’t allowed to wear my toque upstairs.
great views, good food and nice value for mid town location. I would visit again
Good food- service-prices reasonable for nyc-Great Ambience would definitely eat there again - perfect for in-between Harry Potter part 1& 2
Server was great, friendly and helpful when ordering! Great atmosphere and food was cooked perfectly!
A bit of the noisy side although there was a somewhat separate dining area where it was a little quieter. Music was still quite loud though.
Shrimp cocktail was great and nice presentation. The burrata itself was delicious, but the tomato was too soft. A little disappointing there but the sauce over it was also quite good.
Nice place I’d go back to!
It must have been a unusual evening - but the restaurant was very slow - but we had great drinks, service and food - We will be back
No me dejaron entrar al lugar, a la mera hora me dijeron que tenía que comprar unos tickets para ver el Súper bowl, los quise comprar y luego me dijeron que si los compraba me podrían en otro bar, pésimo servicio
Went to a Super Bowl viewing party here, and it was well done. Great seating, really good version of wings, spring rolls, and sliders. Not sure I’d hang out here on a weekend, but it was a great place to watch the big game.
Music was way too loud. Waitress was wonderful and very sweet. Think the restaurant promotes itself to be fancier then it was. Food was good. Bar was nice
Well, the photos of an elegant rooftop dining room were wildly exaggerated—the place was decorated by Oriental Trading and A.C. Moore with bundles of white spray painted twigs entwined in rope lights and faux pine boughs cladding the ceiling. Macrame chandeliers and tiki hut style bars added to the kitschy ambience. Not what I was expecting after being made to wait expectantly behind velvet ropes before taking an elevator up to the top of this boutique hotel.
Food was marginal, presented poorly (calamari dumped on a platter with no plating, ditto for Caesar salad) and expensive for what was a Fast casual quality dining experience.
Definitely not worth the trip.
I had a really fabulous time with my Aunt. From the minute we walked in the door, to the coat check, to the hostesses, bartenders, and server, the service, ambiance and vibe was welcoming, exciting, and attentive. I had the Moonshine cocktail, she had a beer, we split the NY Strip and had a couple salads which was all very delicious! It's a great place for a date, for dinner, or just for drinks at the bar. I highly recommend!
Christmas present for my daughter to see Phantom
Friend’s birthday in a great style ;-)
Unfortunately the best thing about this place is their website photos, which the real deal just does not live up to. That’s it in a nutshell. Very friendly server. Would try again in a warmer month when outside rooftop is open.
Went to Haven Rooftop for my birthday and not only were the food and cocktails delicious, but the dining staff was great and made my birthday celebration very special! Would definitely come again!
Asked about shrimp to get with Caesar Salad. Misrepresented. Small overcooked ROCK shrimp. I would’ve ordered something else if answered honestly. Salad itself was adequate but nothing special. Creme Brûlée was not high end yumminess. Disappointing. Drink recommendation was not good.
The restaurant was festive and comfortable.
Service was great and food was delicious.
I had the lobster roll and it was fantastic !
Celebrating two birthdays for brunch
It was expensive for what you got and not as nice as the pictures.
Dinner was great was cozy amazing location. The food was super fresh and tasty
loved the place Highly recommend for a date night VS. three ladies after theater dinner
Great atmosphere!! Have to try the truffle fries 😍
We were seated promptly but asked to be reseated due to our table filled with ants that were coming out of the wall. We were moved without issue. However, maybe an appetizer or drink on the house? Just good service. The views were ok but this restaurant not worth the hype. Would I go back? Yes. However, not anytime soon. As a New Yorker there are many better places.
We enjoyed our visit to Haven Rooftop. The steak was delicious, but for the money we paid, we should not have been given instant mashed potatoes. They looked like something out of a tv dinner. I would think for $45, someone could peel the potatoes. But, aside from that, the service was good, the atmosphere was nice and overall it was a nice experience.
We went for a double birthday dinner as hotel guests before a show. We asked to share a couple of entrees with our daughters and the meals weren’t divided, nor were enough plates provided, so we had to cut the meat and use side plates for our girls. We asked to have a different type of salad and we’re told that there was no way to do that, so we had to order two salads to get what we wanted. We all had drinks including multiple glasses of wine. When we finished our entree, I tried multiple times to get our waiter’s attention, but he was too busy joking around with his colleagues to notice. We asked the hostess if she could get him, but in the end she cleared away our plates and took our dessert orders. The Creme brûlée was runny, and very disappointing. Nobody asked us how our meal was, so we paid and left. Not the Birthday meal we were hoping for.... The hotel was great so we expected the same service at the restaurant, but we were wrong.
My poached eggs were hard boiled, poor service not worth the price.
Excellent food! Excellent service. We came on a recommendation for brunch from a friend of ours. We would definitely go back!
it was good
Our server was too busy dancing to check on us, the view was awful and the food worse. As hotel guests, we were sat in a corner with absolutely no view and the restaurant was not even half full. Extremely disappointed.
