Absolutely loved this restaurant!!! The setting ,food, and service were awesome. We had the best time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service and decent food.
My only issue with this place is the seating. The teak chairs are extremely hard and ergonomically bad... impossible to get comfortable in. The cushions do not help at all.
Sticky tables with flies, loud, slow service, and bland food-this place is for tourists who don't know any better.
Très bon endroit, bien fréquenté, service remarquable
The food was fine. Definitely not worth the price. 16$ for mediocre guacamole with hard chips is ridiculous. Was told I couldn’t wear a hat- which is okay.. But most of the patrons were in jeans and sneakers.. not posh enough to be told to lose the hat. Wouldn’t recommend this to friends, I’m sure there are much better brunch places with the same views and same prices with better quality.
Great date night spot
Loved the atmosphere and food. Service was great too’
It was a nice day for being on the roof with perfect weather, so that alone makes it a win. No one will call this place inexpensive and the food was good but certainly price adjusted for the environment. Overall the experience was enjoyable and we would go back. I had the lobster roll which I think was $28 but could have had a little more filling at the price. It was fresh and very good and the fries were excellent, it just could have been a bit more robust at the price.
Our server Taina was fun and friendly, we liked her casual relaxed vibe. I imagine this place would feel a lot different if we had a surly server, but the whole staff we interacted with seemed nice.
Good drinks, fun vibe and amazing brunch food. The Brunch Style pizza was incredible! We had a lovely meal before heading off to a Broadway matinee.
Servers initial comment “do you know what you want.”
We had been seated after getting a drink at the bar, sat for about 15 minutes until a server came to great us. However, we were not created, not even offered a water. Will not recommend.
We had 8:30 reservations and requested a seat with a view. They did not have a seat with a view available so we had to wait until about 8:50 to be seated with a moderate view. Drinks were good, server was awesome. Tuna tartar appetizer was great and we shared it between the three of us. The crab avocado for appetizer was delicious but very small for the price of $23. You will not be stuffed when you leave here. for dinner, two of us had the sesame crusted tuna which was plentiful and delicious, great value for the price. One had the lobster salad and it was disappointing. Half of a claw and half of a tail on quinoa. For the price it should've been bigger. We had ordered Tito's martinis and the bar while we were waiting for our seat and the bartender told us he was out of Tito's so we chose another vodka. When sitting for dinner, there was a bar on the other side that had Tito's. I don't know why the bartender didn't go to the other bar to see if they had Tito's. For a place like this, you would think they would go the extra mile. All in all the view made it worth it. I would ask about the portion size before ordering and if they don't have the liquor you want, ask them to check the other bar. Otherwise, the food was good and atmosphere was dreamy.
Absolutely loved it x
Pizza a bit boring but the chicken nice
Nice Location to snack something and chat with friends.
Always a nice experience! Good drinks and tasty food.
Party of 3 with reservations at a rooftop restaurant...initially seated at a rickety uneven table in front of the bar with no view and lots of server traffic to get drinks. Moved to a window seat and received inconsistent service. Our initial drinks and appetizer were timely - about 10 minutes. But our entrees took over an hour...when the two tables adjacent to us who were seated after us received theirs in 30 minutes. At the end of our dinner I waited 15 minutes for our server to pick up the check only to have him pick it up and put it back down. Evidently he did not realize out card was in the folder. We ultimately took our check to the hostess.
On the other hand, the drinks were exceptional and the food above average. Had it not been for the inconsistent service, this review would be four stars.
They have excellent food and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The service was terrible. Hostess seemed to be confused where to seat us. The waiter was no where to be seen for at least 15 minutes at a moderately light time (i.e. 5pm). We had a drink and a poor excuse for an appetizer (i.e. crab & avocado). To be fair the crab and avocado was just that, crab meat with avocado on top. The trip was a waste of our time.
Excellent service! Nice food
Beautiful rooftop even in the pouring rain! Service was fair!
Such an easy go-to place. Food always lovely, service lovely-just easy
The food and drinks were absolutely amazing! It was our anniversary and the the staff changed the music to suit us! They also gave us an anniversary treat! Not super fancy but we had a perfect evening there! Would definitely go again!
Great time celebrating my daughter's 23rd birthday. They always do a great job and this is the 5th year we have celebrated there.
Absolutely wonderful service. The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating.
I went for my moms birthday & they really did a great job helping us celebrate. The food was amazing! I absolutely recommend the truffle fries & the margarita pizza with chicken! I look forward to going back again!
Terrible service. Waited forever just to receive a water and had to ask to place my order before the waitress almost ran away on me. Sat around for awhile waiting for my bill and again had to ask the waitress to pay. Tons of staff around goofing off/talking to each other yet impossible to get good service.. food wasn’t worth the price and the view was honestly awful. I came here because the pictures and bio made this rooftop sound good but I wouldn’t recommend it at all! Food was nothing special you can find way better in NY.
I loved this place! You don’t want to sit in the middle section when you first walk in because you don’t get to see the decor. It was great where we sat on the right hand side. 10/10 recommend!
Service was slow waiters were having more fun joking with each other than waiting in tables
Haven was very nice, the food and drinks were excellent. It does lack the NYC view as the rooftop it's on is lower than the buildings around it. However overall it was an excellent choice for dinner before our show.
The service was slow, the food was decent. The drinks were okay.
Table was not ready when we arrived. Service was rather slow. Found the place too noisy. Food was good
It was terrible- I have a small Backpack that I use for my purse and was unable to attend my reservation.
I have been here twice before with the same small back pack. Terrible to be turned away —
Nice place. Unfortunately for a roof top experience there was really no views. That was disappointing
I ate Crab bennedict and it was amazing at a very reasonable price. 20$. We also ordered fries for the table. We were 3 ppl, and I was already pretty full with the crab bennedict, but those fries were really good, the price was 8$ and it was a big side, 4ppl could share those fries perfectly when getting any other order. The rooftop doesn't have the best views, but it's very welcoming, with nice tables and sofas. And the service was great. Definitely going back
Great rooftop . The dinner was excellent, service was very good . Definitely smaller than it looks in the pictures from website but still a really nice place
Ordered the swordfish with mixed vegetables, great tasting, Chelsea was very attentive to make sure we were doing well, highly recommend!!!
Not at all what we were expecting for a pre-theater meal. There was no ambiance and the music was more hip hop than anything. The food was marginal, limited selection, and overpriced.
The cocktails were excellent though.
Wonderful experience. Food was good and the drinks were even better. All the wait staff was friendly.
The waiter neglected us, drinks took long, he did not bring water (we had to remind him twice), no water refill until we paid the check, bad service in general... The food was nothing out of the ordinary, it took over an hour to get it, the steak & fries wasn't good (steak wasn't tender, it came with re-fried potatoes, not fries), not worth the price...
Lovely roof terrace restaurant, sensible value for the location, really close to everything and the food was lovely too. Overall a solid option for brunch without going overboard at an upmarket hotel restaurant
Haven is a nice rooftop restaurant close to the bustle of Time Square. The service was friendly and speedy...we never were looking for our next drink. The only problem I had was that when I made reservations the person was very specific to tell me that the dress code was “business casual” and it was very definitely NOT....not unless business casual is cargo shorts and T-shirt’s.
