Upscale and very classy!

If you're looking for a great place to impress a date, that happens to like spicy food then you will enjoy this place. The look is upscale and not bleak and spartan as one normally finds for Indian/Asian food.

The food and service were excellent. Check the menu for things you might like. My wife had one of the lamb kabobs and I had an excellent lamb chop dish. I do forget the names. We both chose medium (5/10) spice levels and found them a little spicier than we've become used to in bland Cincinnati. We'll likely specify level 3 or 4 out pf 10 next time, and there will be a next time!

I'd recommend you check the menu and give this place a try.

All around fantastic experience!

Went on a Thursday night and made reservations with the Open Table App. The reservations weren't necessary but the availability is there.

First off, the place is gorgeous. Really gorgeous. Very beautifully decorated, nice water feature in the front lobby area and very nice seating. Standard size and large booths. Full bar with seating at the bar as well.

You could go casual, business casual or formal to Haveli and not feel out of place either way.

The food was well priced. Slightly on the higher side but well worth it. If you don't mind paying good money for good food, then you won't have a problem with it. I wouldn't quite call it expensive but for three meals, naan bread, drinks and no appetizers, the bill came to about $75. Just to give you an idea.

The food was fantastic. One of my staple "first time trial" Indian dishes that I order at an Indian restaurant is lamb korma. It tells me that quality of meat they use and gives me an idea of one of their well seasoned recipes. Perfect! One of the best kormas that I have had in a while. Great flavor, great seasoning and the lamb was beautiful.

Is there naan breads are very tasty and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals also.

Would I go back? Yes. Definitely. I'm very much looking forward to going back, bringing friends there and telling people about this new restaurant. Visit their website and you can read a little bit of their background. The owner / chef, Mani, came out and said hello to us before we left. We enjoyed a conversation with him and he gave us a little history of the restaurant and their successful beginning in Iowa City, Iowa. It was a pleasure speaking with him and I look forward to seeing him again soon.

Great new Indian restaurant with true cuisine from North and East of India. Serving size for dinner is great. Pleasant service. Five of us booked table and they were all ready to take cate. Great Indian beer. We tried Lamb dishes and various vegetarian dishes and varieties of Naans. All done very well.

The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance. The service was very slow. This was on a Sunday night , when it was not crowded! The waiters were very polite and friendly, but not attentive enough. We had to call them 3 times when we were ready to order! The food was good but not exceptional. The Naans were excellent! Not a bad deal for the price. Worth trying one time.

Good Indian cuisine in a lovely setting. Good, clean and vibrant ambience. Excellent and fairly quick service. A good array of vegetarian and non vegetarian entrees. A nice selection of spirits is also available. Food was tasty. It is hard to find good, authentic Indian food in a restaurant with good decor. This is it!

Foid was very good. Service was excellent. Restaurant was too cold. It was also pricey for an Indian restaurant. Not $$. Defibitely $$$. Somewhat of a disappointment, though i have good leftovers.

I don't usually rate restaurants but since this one has only opened several months ago and was truly a great find... Located in small mall assoc with Rave theater near Mitchell's. We found it to be best Indian food we have had in Cincinnati! Staff was very helpful and attentive. We will certainly be returning! Extensive menu to experiment with. Beautiful décor too!

We have eaten at most of the Indian restaurants in the city, and while this may be the prettiest, it is not the best, particularly when you consider their price point which is $3-4 higher for most items. My wife's chicken korma was very good, but my saag paneer, which I have had in restaurants around the world, was the strangest version yet. It was virtually puréed, which I have never had before, and hope never to have again. We enjoy Indian beer with our food, but the Taj Mahal was $10, way overpriced.

Second time dining here. Food is very good and authentic. Upscale feel and ambiance. The food is not like your typical Indian take out. The only issue we had was with the slowwww service. We were not in a hurry, but even the drinks took ages to come out. They need to staff up - at least on the weekends.

Good Indian restaurant with several menu options from different regions in India. Great to enjoy an Indian meal pre or post movies (including Indian movies) at the AMC close by. Service is good - staff was very open to feedback and acted promptly to fix things once feedback was provided. Spice levels can be adjusted to your liking providing greater taste and flexibility. The homemade Pista Kulfi was a great dessert option.... Hoping to try the lunch buffet one of these days....

Restaurant looks very good from inside, food is good. Little sweet taste though. I am sure chef will fix it next time for me. No Goat in Indian restaurant. Little strange though.
