Have & Meyer | Vineria Naturale con cucina
Extremely packed and buzzy Valentine’s Day, but we were seated right at our reservation time which was really great. The bartender did a fabulous job introducing us to new orange wines and brought several to taste. It was such a romantic and perfect place to celebrate.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent.
Terrible service. Made a reservation for 5 people and it was not honored.
Food was just ok.
But the wine list is incredible
New Years eve
Service was quite good but kicked us out as we don‘t ordered another glass of wine immediately.
Food was fine...
The food was great and also the choice of wine I’ll be back for sure
We did not stay for dinner at this lovely bar and restaurant for dinner. Upon arrival in time and waiting over ten minutes for a host to greet us, we were taken to our very small two top table for a party of three!. Metal folding chairs were offered so between no space to eat, a busy night and overhearing other patrons complain about slow service, we left and went to the lovely French cafe next door.
Love this place
A busy wine bar that doubled as an amazing italian restaurant. Interior was small and inviting, but packed by a lively crowd. I can't stop thinking about the Truffle Gnocchi which was the star of the meal.
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice for such a small place. Due to the size fo the restaurant it can get loud quickly.
Terrible service. We were sat at the bar, which was totally fine, but the bartender forgot to put our order in, didn’t check to offer us more water or drinks, and didn’t even give us napkins (we had to ask). The ladies next to us sat down after us and got their food about 20 minutes before us. Disappointing.
Cozy vibe and great atmosphere. Amazing food, wine and service.
I made a reservation here for my anniversary. They dont have tables and just cram you in at the bar. It was louder than any sports bar ive ever been to. Its so narrow, the servers elbows hit you in the back as they walk by. We were there for 20 mins and noone waited on us. We eventually just left without even eating. I guess dont go there unless your prepared to be at a crowded, loud bar that happens to serve food. Not a restaurant or dining experience I’d ever like to have again.
Really cute inside. Great music and great vibes. A little right of a squeeze but otherwise fun!
Everything was great but service seemed a little slow - maybe they were understaffed or someone called in sick ? Either way would definitely go back again
Lovely buzzy place. Good wine selection. Pasta was really tasty. Overall expensive. If price not an issue then check it out. Had booked an outside table but was put inside (not an issue for us but just a note if that’s important to you)
Love this place for a date or going with your girls and enjoying the afternoon/ night!
Get the burrata and the olives for starters — amazing!
Always a treat. It's one of my all-time favorite NY places!
Simply put - if you charge $26 for pasta it must be perfect. My carbonara was far from that. The guanciale (not even sure it was guanciale but some subpar bacon) was flabby and not rendered. The “creamy” sauce that the egg yolk and cheese should create wasn’t there and the pasta resulted quite dry. There was no freshly grounded pepper and to end with the pasta lacked seasoning and was overdone. The tagliatelle with ragù were a bit better but nothing to write home about. The wine list is interesting but a serious wine bar adds vintage information and doesn’t let the guest find out when the bottle is presented at the table. The wine I asked wasn’t available anyway. With so many great Italian places in the neighborhood I can’t see how this place at these prices and poor quality will survive. Our server was really nice and friendly.
Great food and wine, Daniella helped us pair the right wine with our meal. Thank you!
I now have a new spot to visit on my frequent returns to NY. Love the idea of anything by the glass and the food was delicious, but most impressive really was the knowledgeable, attentive service (thank you Daniela!) that brought the other elements together and fostered a perfect evening.
Have & Meyer is one of our two favorite restaurants in a part of Brooklyn that has many good options. The food is always delicious, it has a great selection of Italian wines, and the staff are invariably welcoming and warm. Excellent food and genuine kindness - what more could one want from a neighborhood eatery? My husband and I were here recently for an anniversary meal (11 years since we met and shared our first meal), and we're glad we chose Have & Meyer to celebrate.
We loved everything about this place!
Amazing opportunity to try a broad range of unique wines all the while dining on absolutely fresh and delicious foods. Loved this place!
We were pleased with the ambiance, the food quality and also by the very high quality service we have received.
We were pleased and we will go back for sure.
Very nice place, good Italian food and good wine, nice people and great time
Mediocre pasta and way way to loud music. I arrived at 9pm and the music level was the same as a night club. I love a vibrate restaurant, this is not one of them. Unfortunately as I was really excited about going to the restaurant.
Great food - a little disappointed that we had to share a table with another couple.
Food is good... service is HORRIBLE! Been once before and had a good meal. Wanted to come back for our anniversary and they didn’t honor our reservation and were extremely rude. Pass on this place!!!! Not worth the price.
My new favorite restaurant! We were looking for a place that served dinner late and figured we would try this place out. My whole party agreed it was an amazing find. They play the best old school music, the staff is awesome, the wine list is amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!
A little tight for three people.
Amazing wine selection, have been
Ambience is the best (music and decor are great), but the food was nothing impressive... you could barely taste the truffle in the gnocchi with truffle and the steak was chewy .
Great Brooklyn find--interesting menu, fresh and delicious dishes, great service.
This was my second visit, and unfortunately my last. As other reviewers have noted, the food simply isn't great - and particularly in relation to the steep prices. My companion and I both ordered pasta dishes, each in the $24 range, and neither were particularly enjoyable. In addition the amount of food on the plate was noticeably less than any other restaurant I've been to in recent memory. Two entrees and four drinks totaled $140 including tax + tip - far too steep for the experience.
Food and environment were amazing! I loved the extensive wine list, but gave this a 4 for value - my friend and I both left feeling hungry. We shared an appetizer, had a plate of pasta each, had to share an additional entree and a dessert. With 2 glasses of wine combined we each spent ~ $80....
As other reviews have said, the food was just not good. Extremely bland and boring. We got too pastas and neither had any flavor & were dry (not any sauce).
Great selection of orange/skin contact wines, in particular. But the menu has no descriptions so you’re at the mercy of your bartender/waiter. They will give you tastes which is great, though. We opted for a bottle at the end, after seeing the TINY pour size of their glasses. And the prices were high so you would feel ripped off getting wine by the glass.
