Friendly service with great food. Let us sample different wines to find one that we enjoyed. Will go back!
My husband and I enjoyed our time here. The food was delicious and the wines were very good. Since there were so many options for wines, I asked the bartender for a recommendation and he was able to provide us with two tastings. We selected to eat indoors. The space is a bit tight and we had to sit at the bar. I didn’t mind it at all. We enjoyed the starters and our meals and the wine as well. We will definitely want to go back.
The tables were just way too close to each other.
Service was excellent and the food delicious. Lived the quaint outdoor space and the attentiveness of the staff.
Absolutely MUST visit!!! Our highlight of the trip. 10/10. So cute and cozy, super knowledgeable and friendly staff, excellent food and wine. Do not skip this one!!!
Beautiful wine selection and very Nice ambiance.
Unfortunately It’s way too expensive ($72 for 2 small pieces of cheese and 2 very small portion of chorizo and prosciutto) and the service is terrible.
Great place to hangout with friends. The fresh pasta is great, the Stracciatella & Anchiovies is a must-try. Of course a great selection of natural Italian wines, the staff is very helpful when choosing even if you don’t know much - try the orange wines!
Perfect date spot! Does get crowded, not very spacious so be prepared. Didn’t have food but our cocktails were great, bartenders were very gracious despite being upper busy, homey yet romantic ambience
Its being a while since I go to a restaurant and I enjoyed every single dish. Super recommended.
Ate at the bar, was perfect
Great service, waitresses were very considerate. Food is A+, very simple, quality ingredients, tasty. Charming place, perfect for date night or even a group of people. Amazing selection of wines.
Absolutely wonderful meal! I’ll be back!
Ordered the bruschetta, which was disappointing. Basically chopped cherry tomatoes thrown on top of bread. We also got the octopus, which was good itself but the dish in its entirety felt unfinished. There wasn’t even any dressing on the “side salad.” A little sad because I live in the area and was hoping to have a new spot in the neighborhood. Most likely will not return.
This is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood, and probably in all of NYC. It has a beautiful and welcoming indoor ambiance, and they have done such a good job too with their outdoor COVID set up. The staff stays there a long time and they are incredibly knowledgable about the food and the amazing and unique wine list. They are friendly, remember you by name and face, and make the experience feel like youre at home. The aforementioned wine list is awesome; the list is focused on only natural wines from small issue makers, and it's outstanding. The food is really great as well. You will definitely spend some money here, but it's a worthwhile special treat.
fantastic wine selection & wonderful ambiance. a bit pricey.
Wonderful service, really lovely staff provided great recommendations.
Food was cold, steak was overly fatty for a ribeye and severely undercooked
Live across the street. Its always a treat. And some of the more authentic restaurants out there
Service was good, food was average at best and it was very expensive!
The gnocci cacio e pepe was delicious! However, the rest of the food was not great. The cheese + meat board was underwhelming and overpriced, and they first delivered it without honey or the gf bread we requested. We paid extra to try the chorizo iberico, and were very disappointed to only receive like 6 thin slices of it - not worth the price. Additionally, though the restaurant offers gluten free alternatives, I would not recommend coming here for that. The gf "bread" was basically just corn flour - no flavor and an odd texture, more like cornbread than anything though it was a flatbread. I did not risk trying the gf pasta after having that. The carbonara was also bland and sticky. Overall, an underwhelming experience. Would only return for wine and the gnocci.
My second time coming to Have & Meyer and it was a great experience as usual. The food and wine were amazing. The waitresses and host were prompt and friendly and the outside seating was beautiful…the chairs were a little uncomfortable but that’s the be expected with outside seating. Definitely will come again.
I’m sorry but, $16 for an individual charcuterie board item? So a charcuterie bird consisting of a single (not so generous) portion each of cheese and meat runs me $30??
$16 for a single dessert??
The place was cute, especially their outdoor dining area, the service staff was kind, and the food was fairly tasty (but not amazing) but it was absolutely not worth those prices.
We like this place usually. I thought the octopus was good but not great, especially for the price. Not a good value. Very expensive.
The appetizers, meats and cheeses are the best way to.go.
It was an amazing dinner. We came for my fiancé birthday and he just couldn’t get over how the food was. The waitress we had was great and offered some great recommendations from wines to food. Definitely will be returning again!
Very romantic setting
Amatriciana pasta was good but not stellar. Everything was very pricey. $70 per person for 1 shared appetizer, 1 drink each, and 1 pasta each. Waitstaff was very nice. A bit loud. Overall, proudly wouldn’t come back.
So beautiful with amazing wine and food! Would recxomend for a special date night OR for group night! Also AMAZING service
I absolutely love this restaurant. I always feel so wonderfully taken care of and my passion for orange wine is always satiated here. There is a server, she is hispanic, VERY knowledgeable about the wines and one of the best people I have come across the in Food & Beverage business. The effort that the owners/investors/staff but into this establishment is all over the restaurant, full of love and attention to detail. During the winter, the were one of the only locations that made it comfortable to sit in 40 degree weather, no problem. A true gem!
Amazing food, amazing wine, this place is always great!!
This is a unique, especial place because of the food, first and foremost, and also because of the ambience, cozy, warm, with touches of home. The beef ragu over pasta is my favorite dish. And if you are finicky about your Negroni cocktail, have one here and the bar for you will be set for life.
Such good customer service! Amazing gluten free pasta
The service here is always perfect. The meal is slow and never rushed, they let us try several wines before deciding on a glass (something that doesn’t happen anywhere else in NY) and the food is truly outstanding.
The wine recommendations and service was great but the pasta was slightly disappointing.
Solid place, amazing food, great wine list, and awesome staff!! Anthony and Melissa are amazing
Very cute outdoor/parking lane seating! Ambiance is definitely the reason to go here. A bit tight for 6’ spacing to seem realistic. This is supposed to be a wine focused place but when I asked the waitress what wine would pair with my meal well, she told me to just pick whatever I like & it would go because I like it. She declined to give me any recommendations of interesting wines after I asked that as well. My friend and I both ordered the burrata & mushroom pasta. Her’s had a chunk of burrata, mine did not. It was under salted and there wasn’t salt on the table.
Nice atmosphere but way over priced. Food was good but not great. Wines are primarily organic which requires a certain kind of palette. Did not feel like it was a good value. Will not return
The quality of food was frankly mediocre at best. My pasta was cold already when it arrived and lacked taste. Given the price, I expected a lot better. Overall a disappointing experience!
I come to Have & Meyer often and am always blown away. The wine is incredible and the food is amazing! The wagyu filet and carbonara are my favorites!
Lovely outdoor space and delicious food!
The food and wine were amazing. What a great gem in Brooklyn!
