Alessandro does it all- a welcoming proprietor who seems to know everyone and has created a lively old world ambience We sat in a cozy front corner table with the shutter folded back and opened to the street so we felt the outdoors coming in. We tried 3 wonderful pastas fusilli pesto, paparadelle beef ragu and bucatini a la amatriciana- all delisiosa— we will be back thank you !

The food was sub par and very expensive for small portions served in large dishes. The wait staff was not attentive and waited an hour for main course . Not impressed!

Food was great! I always love my pasta al denté. The wait was a little long for a reservation but at least there was live music to listen to.. the host/owner was affable and had great wine recommendations. We had a group of 6 so it was nice to be able to accomodate it

Adorable, warm atmosphere. We had wine, and were given options to test without asking, which was a great touch. We had the artichokes and octopus to start, and then had carbonara and amatriciana for dinner. All absolutely fantastic. I have been left dreaming about the cavatelli. We had one espresso martini and an espresso with amaro to finish (with another taste test of course). The wait staff was kind and inviting. They gave us recommendations to go out after (although I regret going out because I couldn’t take my leftovers with me). The most special touch was one of the bartenders playing my favorite Italian artist, Lucio Battisti, and we sang his signature song together. In short, go here.
