Havana

It was a sunny day and we sat inside, the drinks were on happy hour and the prices for happy hour are great. The food was good, but would have liked 3 tacos not 2. They were delicious.

I like the place but they ran out of fish tacos by 8:30. The waiter also seemed to have other things to do than help us. I will go back though. I have previously attended a play and that was great. Such a cool 60 seat experience. You are right in the play.

Great attentive service, made our special evening unforgettable! Food was first rate flavour and variety. Nothing at all to mark them down for. Well done!

Such a cute atmosphere for brunch .. the food I ordered was a little bland ( the brunch bowl) but next time I will try something else because the vibe was nice in there

First time eating there. Really enjoyed our food and drinks. Not a fan of the plantains that came with the poblano and corn dip. Too dense and bland. Other than that no complaints! And my grapefruit margarita was delicious! Service started out pretty fast but we did have to wait a while for our mains.
Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

The food was very tasty and the service was wonderful- however, my boyfriend and I went on Valentine’s Day so we were given a little menu with few options to choose from. You SHARED 4 courses for 39 dollars a person. Each course was so tiny.. it would of made sense to charge 39 a person if everyone got their own!? We left that night still hungry, feeling like we been scammed.

We ate here on Valentine's day and I didn't think it was worth it. It was too expensive for the small meal and appetizers you had to share. It was also so cold in the outdoor seating. The food wasn't great.

Second time eating here. Got in on happy hour food and drinks which was a bonus. The appies were fabulous but 2 out of 3 of our cubano sandwiches were burned on outside and sloppily put together -- disappointing. And I mentioned a birthday in my online booking but it wasnt acknowledged at the restaurant -- so why have the question then? Will go back as we didnt have this experience on our first visit in September.

The food was great and so was the service. A lively place and a tad hard to hear our conversation, but the great Cuban music and happy hour amply made up for it.

I can't say enough good things about this experience. It was a packed house and our waitress did an outstanding job in navigating the small area to serve us efficiently without it seeming rushed. I especially liked her recommendations for both the appetizer and dessert. Our first time there -- I will definitely return.

Both the food and drink menus are amazing! So many delicious options, for a reasonable price. Service staff are sweet.

Great food and service. The Passionfruit margaritas are A - MAZ - ING! So are the plantaines with garlic and lime aioli. The staff are super friendly and the service was great!

Atmosphere was great

It was my first visit to Havana Restaurant. I enjoyed my vegetarian bowl immensely. It was extremely tasty. My family also enjoyed their choices including my 9 year old grandson.

The atmosphere was pleasant and laid back. Ideal for a Commercial Drive restaurant.

Service is very good. I didn't make a great choice so didn't much care for my food. My friend loved hers and I have had other food there that was very good. The ambience is nice so a good choice on the drive.

Food was good, once I had the right order.
Order was mixed up by the kitchen but server rectified things quickly and efficiently.
Service overall was excellent, despite the busy Sunday brunch crowd.

So good! Our server was amazing, asked her to pick a desert to surprise the birthday boy, she chose the tres leches cake and put candles in it. Soooo tasty! Good choice. Everything else was great as well.

Whenever I need a little staycation I whisk myself and some friends away to this charming Cuban haven on Commercial Drive. Also great events in their theatre here. Monday nights at 9pm $5 comedy show is FANTASTIC! Oh and lovely food and drinks as well. Not a sangria fan but this place may make me a believer.
