Soup and main courses arrived together. Soup was not hot, main courses brought back into the kitchen. When they came out 10 min later, chicken was dry.

The service was very good and the food was even better! I had the pork chops. Unbelievable.

We were visiting the city with our three year old and this was the perfect place for us to eat lunch. The staff looked delighted to set him and the host put us in a comfortable booth in the corner. Our little guy wanted the shrimp empanadas and even though the kids' menu didn't mention them, there was no problem ordering them. This was a fun, friendly, and delicious place to have lunch. Those shrimp empanadas, I mentioned, they were amazing! The plantains were soft and flavorful, my Cubano yummy and the arroz con pollo was delicious and the perfect size for lunch. The price was also very reasonable for leaving us all full and satisfied.

walked past this restaurant several times during stay near Times Square. Decided last minute to try and get reservations on OpenTable and was successful. Added two friends later and had no problems changing reservations. Great food and very authentic tasting. Mojitos were amazing!

If you try Havana Central, do yourself a favor and have the Crispy Beef (vaca frieda). It's wonderful.

The authentic Cuban food is plentiful and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a 6 piece band playing/singing Cuban music which heightened the pleasure. They play on Sundays from 6-9 p.m.

The waitress with glasses was nice and friend, even for someone like me who does not speakEnglish English well, still feel comfortable.

I love this place. I usually stay away from restaurants this close to Times Square, but the food and value are really great, considering the location. The food is always delicious, and the mojitos can't be beat. Make a reservation, though, or you'll be waiting a long time if you try to go pre-theater.

Food was really good and came out quick. Live music was a lot of fun. Our waiter Ivan was great! He made the experience that much better! We would go back just to see him!

The food is awesome!!! If you have never eaten Cuban food, this is an excellent place to try it for the first time. Cuban food is very similar to Puerto Rican food, which I can’t live without!!! If you want to try traditional Cuban/Puerto Rican dish, Oder the Mofongo. The shrimp Mofongo is amazing!! Don’t leave without trying the tostones. They are so delicious!!! In Puerto Rico we eat them with every meal. I visit Havana Central every time I am in the city.

As a Latino I am very surprised at the lack of seasoning on the food! I am not sure what or who is cooking this food but it needs help. The drinks were ok and service was average. The atmosphere is great as well as live music. As a Latin restaurant they need better chefs period! I wonder if the chef even tastes the food being put out. If he did and let it still go out! Shame on them.

Great food and live music. This was my second time visiting this restaurant and it’s been great both times.

Unfortunately, the food quality has taken a turn for the worse. I took a friend for a birthday lunch, and the empanadas were not hot, and the mofongo was not seasoned well. Also, our dishes took 40-45 minutes to arrive, which is a little long for lunch. The restaurant is very busy, but the quality of the food has gone down. However, the service was wonderful, and the wait staff were giving the best service they could.

Great find while on holiday, something different. Very tasty food, great atmosphere. Young kids enjoyed also. Walked straight in to a table with booking.

Excellent spot for pre or post theater meal. Fun atmosphere, good drinks....A bit tight..Good value.

Although the food came out quickly, we were still on our appetizers . We felt rush to eat the appetizers to have our dinner. Not to mention, I asked for avocado with my meal and they forgot to bring it. After about 15-20 minutes the waiter came to check to see how was everything and that was when he realized that avocado was not brought to me. The food was very bland.

Ivan was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! Our service was fabulous. Fast and friendly staff. Food and drinks were the best we had in Times Square all weekend! Would recommend to anyone of any age.

Waited for 45 minutes for soup course and only got it after complaining. No more than five minutes after it arrived, while we were still eating the soup, the mains were plunked down on our table.
We asked to see the manager who told us she was sorry but there were kitchen problems and she made no effort to take the mains back until we were ready.
The main dish of veggie paella was a heaping crock of rice with a few random vegetables here and there. It was dry and most of those at the table left about 90% of it over.
The manager kept asking after that if everything was ok and I do not understand why since she saw it was not a dining experience for us that we would remember with satisfaction or want to recommend.

My date was a half hour late and they were so accommodating and seated us as soon as he came. The food came out hot and delicious in short order. We made it to the theater on time. They know how to get people in and out in time for the theater but don't skimp on making good quality meals. I would definitely go again.

Restaurant was very cold. Every time the door opened everyone was freezing. Waited 30 minutes before waiter greeted us. Food was really good just wish the service was better. Was very dissapointed, was looking forward to eating here.

great cuban food! the pernil asado was very tasty, the pork was so moist!....the pollo y camarones al ajillo was very flavorful and the chicken was NOT dry/tough....we also had the empanada sampler and the stuffed tostones, and both were also very good....i would highly recommend this restaurant!
