Very good food and service
the restaurant is amazing, and my server Abwael was the best, good conversation exceptional service, very attentive to the table, good recommendation in the food, hi was very helpful.
thank you, abwael(ABI)....
Had dinner on Sunday night, it was crowded and noisy! But it’s to be expected! They had live music and there was a birthday next to us. Food was amazing like always!
Havana Central was fun and energetic and the food was authentic! We had the Ropa Veija which was awesome! They also accommodated a child who just wanted grilled cheese. Very friendly staff. With our reservation, we got right in.
My family and I had a fun night at this restaurant. We were entertained with a live band which was a little noisy but bearable. He definitely recommended!
Havana Central didn't deliver on the Cuban feel for food or atmosphere. The restaurant was noisy and crowded, so it was difficult to appreciate the music. I was there on President Day weekend so perhaps the restaurant was busier than normal. The food portions were large but mostly filled with rice. The food lacked the authentic flavor and spices I was looking for.
Pre-theater dinner on a Sunday night. Had read mixed reviews, so we were pleasantly surprised when almost everything was great! Our waiter was friendly and informative, as well as great with food allergies. Cocktails were fabulous! Tables are dangerously close together, but we were luckily seated next to friendly patrons. Food did not disappoint! The live music that began playing was SO LOUD!! We couldn’t carry on a conversation.
Our family of four dined before a show on President’s Day weekend. I could sum it up by simply saying that we bailed out after appetizers and hit the Chick-fil-A down the block instead. My wife’s one sentence review was “This restaurant does for Cuban food what the Olive Garden does for Italian”. I decided to label this place ‘Ciudad de sabor’ in honor of another recently departed Times Square restaurant whose demise was also long overdue.
The specifics - the Maraquitas were thick and stale and served with guacamole (?!). The Chicharrones were overcooked little nuggets that seemed to consist entirely of chicken bones. Drinks were good and service was fine.
This place is great. Right in the Theatre District and close to everything. Great food and prices. Service is great too. Highly recommended.
I love this place! Brought in colleagues from out of town and they all had a blast! The wait staff was very accommodating to our loud and crazy group! Thank you for an awesome experience!
It was great to spend valentine's day here with my fiance. The drinks were great, the food was good although I had to send it back because it was cold when it was brought to the table.
Went for a Valentine's day date. It was fun. Good food. Our waiter kept getting lost on us. But the service was good. Overall, it was a good time.
The overall service was excellent. I will go there again.
Really good service by Rafael! Had a lovely time. Worth a visit
Great food. Lovely Valentines decorations. Service very accommodating. A+
Very good place to go with friends or family!
Good eats, quick but not pressured service. The turkey cuban sandwich is delish!
Food only warm and delayed service
Very nice place. The staff was very friendly and energetic. The menu was simple and easy to read. The food was very good
