   Great happy hour specials. Drink special are available at tables but the food specials are only available at the bar. Enjoyed empanadas, stuffed plantains, roast pork. The salad was just ok and could have been a bit better. We enjoyed conversing with Orlando, the bar tender.

   We had the empanadas for appetizers beef,cheese and shrimp that were all amazing. Classic Cuban sandwich very nice and tasty. Mojitos mango were delicious. Would definitely dine there again soon.

   Staff was kind, but got our order wrong, it took a while to come out and it was cold.

   The food was ok, came out very quickly. Service was good and also quick. Being so close to time square explains that sense of being rushed but I know we could have stayed longer if we wanted. Loved the free hat and desert that came with birthday celebrations.

   We went for my birthday dinner after a show. I’ve been here before but was disappointed with the food last time I went. We both ordered the Cuban sandwich for our meal and empanadas as an appetizer. The empanadas were served within 10 minutes. Warm but not hot. The sandwiches came about 5 minutes after that. The sandwiches were hot and fries cold and stale. The waiter quickly changed them but they were blah. It was super loud but we expected that so not an issue. The best thing we had were the passion fruit mojitos. Last time I go there. Nothing impressive to go back for.

   2nd visit was as good as the first! Tostones and Ropa Viejo were great.

    Having eaten Cuban food in Miami for many years I was sorely dissatisfied. I had roasted pork, supposedly the chef’s mother recipe and husband had the garlic chicken. Pork was ok at best, chicken was hard and flavorless. The dishes came with rice and black beans. The beans were excellent! Had also ordered ham croquettes - supposed to be made with potatoes and ham. Over fried and you could only taste potatoes. Aside from the beans, its location within a stone’s throw of Times Square. Totally crowded and very noisy. Server was pleasant and checked on us a couple of times. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
