I understand that the restaurant may be understaffed but we went at a slow time and it still took almost an hour to get our food. Once we got the food it had no flavor and it wasn’t even hot. I was excited to try a new restaurant but I was disappointed overall.
Food is always good. Server was sweet. Drinks took very long, but they comped them.
The environment was ok the seating is tight our server was friendly yet the shrimp portions are very small however, the happy hour red sangria was good. It was my first time there not quite considering returning.
Food was delicious! Our server Teri was amazing ! Very friendly and always followed up with us . Food came out hot and fairly quickly . Had a great dinner with my family ! Highly recommend!
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Food was adequate at best which is not typical. The place was dirty which is unusual . Was expensive .

Service was terrible, no water or silverware and plates served even after food was served…cannot believe this. I had to go to the hostess and request for plates…appetizers and main course was delivered together so my dinner was cold by the time my appetizer got over

Food was delicious. However, service was rushed, waitress was not attentive, bought check before getting cocktails that were ordered. I have decided to pay with cash and after 20 minutes, waitress stated they had no change so I will have to give another form of payment. Overall disappointed, will not go back.

Was seated at a table that was completely unstable food and drinks would have spilled on me and my wife, we requested to be moved to a another table, which our server complied he came back with our food and i said to him this is our new seats because we did not want to begin our meal and be asked to move. As we are eating and in discussion we are interrupted by a manager who says that we can't stay at this table because it's reserved and we have to move, at that point she calls over the general manager who trys to seat us back in the same seats with the unstable table. We decided that we had had enough and walked out of the restaurant, it was our first time in there establishment and it was a complete disaster no communication between staff and not organized we travel and frequent all levels of restaurants to date this was no doubt our worst.

Understanding Covid restrictions we made our reservation weeks in advance. When we got there we were seated in a non air conditioned room off the main restaurant. After 1 drink and some appetizers my husband and I were sweating so bad we were ready to leave. We asked our waitress if e we could move to the main restaurant because e we were very hot. She moved us right away and continued to serve us awesomely!!!! Other than that experience it was very nice and would go back again

Table was not ready despite reservation, had to wait 10+ minutes, apparently several staff had called out. When seated by manager, she pleasantly apologized for delay but disappointingly didn't offer complementary beverage or appetizer. Food and service were top-notch which is why we will return.

Food was good a bit salty but the wait was terrible. It took a little more than half an hour to get our orders in when we were already seated. I asked For 2 glasses of water and they came in an hour later

This was my 3rd and FINAL visit to Havana Central @ MenloPk Mall. My husband and I do not dine out very frequently, but we were extremely disappointed with the poor service and poor quality of food we received on this visit. To add insult to injury, it cost us $93 for the experience. Starting with the service - we arrived in time for Happy Hour on a very NON-BUSY Fri night. We ordered 3 glasses of wine, which took a very long time to arrive. In fact, we had to ask what happened, and we were told by the person who brought our beverage order (NOT our server) that the tray was just left sitting on the bar. After our food order arrived, I had to tell the person who delivered it (also NOT our original server) I never received my appetizer. During our meal, our server never came by to ask how our food was. After we finished eating, we asked for some containers for leftovers to take home. She brought the containers, but never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. She then brought over the check and that was the last we saw of her. For the poor level of service, we left only $10 cash as a tip on an $83 meal. The restaurant was still very far from being busy when we left. Now for the food review -- I had ordered the appetizer called Mazorca Estilo Havana (Havana Street Corn). The menu description was "zesty corn on the cob dusted with Latin cheeses & Cuban spices". It was basically 4 mini chunks of corn on the cob sitting on a plate. The "dusting of Latin cheeses and Cuban spices" coating on the corn seemed odd. It was a coating that should have been deep fried or roasted, but instead was left raw. I only ate 2 of the 4 pieces and I took 2 home. My entree was the Churrasco al la Parilla (Grilled Skirt Steak) with mango salsita, crispy onions, and chimichurri sauce. I ordered the steak cooked Medium. It was tough & greasy. Mango salsita was good, but xtra small quantity. Husband had Vaca Frita (crispy shredded steak) which was dry and flavorless. We won't be back. Sorry

Celebrating my sisters college graduation here was the best choice! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. Our server Terry was super sweet and the whole restaurant was a vibe. Will definitely be coming back.

Since we enter the restaurant the customer service from the host was terrible, our waitress didn’t put our order in time and we had to reminder she had our order already. Got the wrong drink with my order, instead of a passion fruit margarita I gota regular one and the food was terrible.

Our server was friendly but kept disappearing. Our appetizers came and we had wait a long time bc our entrées were not taken ahead. When our entrées came. They were wrong and we were missing a spoon for the only soup we had order which was my 6 yr old. We had to ask the runner for water bc our server was chit-chatting and laughing on the server station. To get the check was also a chase. I made my mom come all the way to NJ bc I wanted to give her an awesome experience and we left pretty disappointed.

The service was very slow. Our appetizers were going to come out after our entrees so we ended up just canceling the appetizers that we waited a while for. We weren’t really checked on. I had to ask twice for a knife for my churrasco which at that point it was cold. They should’ve brought it out with the meal. The waitress was nice and friendly, just not really attentive to us.
The food was definitely not what we expected. I’ve been to ALOT of Cuban restaurants and I was excited to try this one because I read the reviews but it wasn’t what I expected. The churrasco had no seasoning. Not even salt and pepper. The beans didn’t have seasoning in it AT ALL just chunks of onions and the rice was dry and looked like it was the last rice of the batch. I had a few hard pieces which I do not like. My wife ordered the vaca frita and she swallowed a bunch of oil which each chew and again there was no seasoning at all. Just taste like meat and that’s it.
Overall, the atmosphere was great, beautiful restaurant, and good vibe! I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt because it was Mother’s Day (it was not packed) and I’ll try it again.

I blame it in covid, but some of the items previously on the menu were no longer available and some that were still available were scaled back. Flavors were still there and our server did her best to accommodate our requests.
