The food is amazing. The seating situation is a little tight, but not a big deal. They do such a good job on the shareable, make sure to order a few things besides your entree

Quiet and spacious outdoor dining area, solid food for a good price, and we got a lovely post-dinner drink on the house. Thought the mojito was too tweet, but it was a fantastic price at happy hour ($6) and I'd go again for sure.

The drinks are amazing! Authentic and strong! Unfortunately the food isn’t on the same level as the drinks. Somewhat bland and basic, not in line with the $2_ price tag.

The ambiance is quite lovely with live music. Lovely outdoor space along with a beautiful mural on the wall.

Our first time. Very good appetizers. Good mojitos also
One of our fish entrees had to be returned- an unpleasant smell. All other was good / including black beans
Nice patio !

The food was good, the restaurant is pretty and there was live music that was very nice. However, we were not allowed to share a dish (paella) without a 50% surcharge, which was not stated on the menu. Beware!

Been coming here for a while and I found the food bland. Some of my favorite dishes were flavorless, like the Vaca Frita and the Croquetes.

It was my friends birthday and the restaurant made no effort to make it special, even though they were EMPTY.

After a positive first experience here I left extremely disappointed after coming back and bringing friends. The cocktails are good, but the issues with food and service outweighed the pros. One person had to ask for the 2nd glass of wine they ordered twice more before it finally arrived. We also had to ask for the cocktail menu back twice. When a dish arrived fried (not listed on the menu), my friend commented that he had no idea it was fried, and the waiter's response was totally unacceptable and unhelpful. He ended up just keeping the dish. Some of the entrees were very good, but the salmon had a bit of a fishy taste which you normally don't have in restaurants. The kicker is that we were a party of 6 and the menu states that 20% gratuity will be added. After we left we realized they had added exactly 21%, which is extremely sketchy. Makes me wonder what else they are doing here that's dishonest and I won't be returning.

We have been here several times. Authentic Cuban dishes. Everything tastes like it has come from a treasured family recipe. The mojitos may be the best in NYC. The staff is awesome. We'll go back soon.

Havana alma de Cuba was amazing as always. I've been going here fairly regularly for five years and their great food and amazing service always keep me
Coming back. Their delicious strong Sangria doesn't hurt either.

Have been eating here and celebrating special occasions here for over 12 years! Made a reservation far in advanced for our 24th wedding anniversary. Wrote a note requesting to be seated in the front main room and indicated it was our anniversary. When we arrived the 2 tables available were next to the cigar roller or the bar that had people sitting & standing less then one foot away from the table that was in front of the kitchen and at the walk through to the garden and back room. As if it could get worse, there was no air condition to be felt in the restaurant on a day that was 89 degrees. My poor husband was literally dripping sweat from his forehead while we were trying to resolve the issues. After no real solution from the restaurant staff other then to sit by the bar with someone on top of me with no air, we decided to leave. Happy Anniversary to us! Never again and it's a shame because we loved this place but the service over the years has declined.

The food here was amazing, and there's happy hour until 7! The drinks were delicious and strong.
We ordered the beef empanadas, and chorizo to start. The empanadas were really large and there wasn't excess dough, while the chorizo was lighter. We also got the shredded beef with yuca and guacamole which was great. We topped it off with the churros - they were AMAZING.

The food was extremely delicious ! And the service up and till the end was ok. The waiter cut our unlimited drinks short by 20 mints. When in any other restaurant waiters fill your cup and notify you is the last one.here he never notified us in top of only refilling our drink once. Because he was talking with his co workers

Authentic Cuban food. There were three of us dining and we found all entrees to be very good. Bistec Empanizado was nearly how my Cuban wife makes it. The Ropa Vieja and the Moros were the real thing. Highly recommended. There are quite a few Cuban restaurants in the city but nearly none as good.

Great food, fun atmosphere with live Cuban music. Fairly grumpy waiter, however, who let it that be known due to us not ordering appetizers. But otherwise, a fun place to eat.

Things were fine until the waiter basically threw us out. He felt that because we had finished our meal and did not want anything else, that we should leave. Mind you for a party of 4ppl and $220 for three appetizers and two entrée and three pitcher or sangria. I guess it wasn't enough. Rude, we ask to speak to the manager (the bold Spanish guy who refused to give his name )and the manager was even worse. He basically said sorry, you finished and we want the table and walked away. We paid the bill and left. As we walk through the main dining area the entire left side was empty. Very unfortunate, I was looking forward to bring my friends but never again.

Went here before a show at a theatre down the street. Happy hour was nice. Had the white Sangria. Meal was very good but the chicken was a bit dry. Maybe it was what I ordered but other Cuban restaurants seem to have more authentic choices of sauces and sides.
