We had an enjoyable dinning experience. Everything was delicious. Super cozy and inviting. The staff was super attentive made our experience that more delightful. Look forward to going back.
Just what I wanted. Have been there a number of times before--always good.
We ordered from the lunch menu. Great Cuban sandwich with black bean soup. Good service.
It’s was great!
My husband and I had our first date here 5 years ago. We just went back for our anniversary dinner and it was just as wonderful. We generally order way too much food but it's all so good! They even gave us a congratulatory champagne and dessert. We will definitely be coming back!
Great food, great service
Fantasy place! The good is great. We came with a baby in a stroller in a busy Saturday night and they put us in the side dining room, which was in fact much nicer and more quiet. The staff was very accommodating of the baby, which is not to be taken for granted in this city.
I recommend the red sangria — it’s strong and not too sweet— and the vaca frito main course. It’s fantastic. And the churros with chocolate sauce for dipping are surreal.
Love the love music
A bit too loud to hear the person who's literally two feet from you. The food was mediocre and overcooked. The hostess tried to sell us the price fixed menu even before we were seated. The forks and plates were dirty (dried food). The sangria was ok. Overall just an ok experience. Not going back.
Awesome food at a great price. The staff and service is impeccable! The food is amazing! I can't recommend this place enough. The lights were a tad bright other then that great experience!
Everything was great EXCEPT for the bad 80's music blaring from the bar. The music choice didn't match the ambience at all. Would have preferred Cuban music!
Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere! The lechon asado was superb! Went on a Friday night and there was live entertainment and the staff was phenomenal. Hidden gem.
Fantastic place to eat. Great authentic Cuban food. Nice live music creates great ambience.
Entree's were all delicious. Mojitos are the best!!!
Food great, yes we ordered cafe Cubano first and in the end.. loved the specials.. coming back
Loved this place, service was top notch and the food was to die for
Beautiful vibe, wonderful service, delicious food--perfect for a pre-theater date!
May have been good but when we were taken FROM the side with all the energy and life and sat down “next door” where it was dark, cold and seriously nearly vacant we did not feel so “warm” about staying.
The black beans and rice were good, drinks not so much.
Havana NAH NAH NAH, pass.
Food and service excellent. Live music Friday night otherwise would be quiet.
Nicest staff on the planet, very accommodating unlike open table which requires me to use 50 characters here and waste more of my time
I come here a lot. The staff is always extremely kind, friendly, knowledageble, and helpful. The mojitos are some of the best I've ever had. My server, Ruben, is the man, and always has a smile on his face. Make sure you try the empanadas, the tostones, and the corn - all delicious! Definitely check this place out. There's a reason it's been open for a long time.
Havana Alma de Cuba is consistently good, nice atmosphere, great food, and service. I am a "regular" there!
Always a delight! We've been several times, and went for the New Year's Prix Fixe and were not disappointed.
Found it by accident. Great Cuban find. Food and drinks excellent. Staff ver nice. One negative serve dishes to soon. Did more time between dishes
This little Cuban restaurant has been here for a long time and can always be depended on to serve an excellent meal whether you order fish, meat or a chicken dish. I'm never been disappointed . the staff is also very friendly. Only one thing to caution here is that at times it can get quite noisy.
If you like Cuban food I urge all to come. Once you've had a meal there, yI know you'll come back again.
Definitely a fun place to enjoy some tasty Cuban food. We really liked everything we ordered.
This restaurant is a little gem within the West Village that we used Open Table to book following reading the reviews. The place is small, cosy and full of atmosphere. It was my first Cuban restaurant and branched out to try the fantastic menu. The live music and the ambience of the place added to the experience.
Went with a group of 5. The ceviche was fabulous. Super fresh:clean flavors. Drinks were great as well. Have already recommended
The food is very tasty, the service impeccable, the staff friendly.
The food is amazing. The seating situation is a little tight, but not a big deal. They do such a good job on the shareable, make sure to order a few things besides your entree
Quiet and spacious outdoor dining area, solid food for a good price, and we got a lovely post-dinner drink on the house. Thought the mojito was too tweet, but it was a fantastic price at happy hour ($6) and I'd go again for sure.
Food was great rreasonable prices. Service excellent and live music to biot.
The drinks are amazing! Authentic and strong! Unfortunately the food isn’t on the same level as the drinks. Somewhat bland and basic, not in line with the $2_ price tag.
The ambiance is quite lovely with live music. Lovely outdoor space along with a beautiful mural on the wall.
Havana Alma De Cuba is an amazing restaurant. I have been many times and have never left disappointed. The food is awesome, the service is great and the mojitos are flowing!
The food was ok, the guy that seated us was pretty rude.
Our first time. Very good appetizers. Good mojitos also
One of our fish entrees had to be returned- an unpleasant smell. All other was good / including black beans
Nice patio !
Wonderful service! Great food!
The food was good, the restaurant is pretty and there was live music that was very nice. However, we were not allowed to share a dish (paella) without a 50% surcharge, which was not stated on the menu. Beware!
Been coming here for a while and I found the food bland. Some of my favorite dishes were flavorless, like the Vaca Frita and the Croquetes.
It was my friends birthday and the restaurant made no effort to make it special, even though they were EMPTY.
