Really fabulous food in a funky cool retro atmosphere - don't miss!
The menu options is great, from appetizers to kebab skewers. They also have very unique beer selection. A very fun restaurant.
Wow, wow, wow!!!! My boyfriend is a chef in Atlanta, GA and he was recommended this restaurant by one of his friends who used to live in Vegas. There was four of us in our party and we had Juan as our server. Juan was absolutely fantastic - he was very knowledgeable about the menu, had a great professionalism, and made our experience so much fun. Juan recommended that we do the chef choice and pay per person ($45 per person) - the chef sent out a variety of dishes and plates - cold to hot. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and my boyfriend (the chef) was blown away. We highly recommend Hatsumi and we will certainly be back each time we visit Vegas! Bonus - Pricing is very reasonable!!!!
Excellent food from cooks who understand good yakitori, so many restaurants in Vegas serve really mediocre sandwiches and plain food so this restaurant shined a light on what the food scene in vegas could be. Amazing dishes and the turnip kimchi was incredible!
Fantastic restaurant! Highly recommend. Such a top level dining experience. Do the tasting menu! Inexpensive and absolutely delicious! My new favorite spot.
This was a fabulous restaurant! Amazing food. Lovely service. Very interesting menu ...cannot wait to go back to try more dishes. Probably not a spot for the vegetarian or vegans out there ... but I loved it!
I love love love this restaurant and will definitely be returning and suggestion to friends, the chef came to our table and said hello, and the fact the produce comes from a local garden is super dope
Absolutely loved the Beef Tataki and Lomi Lomi (ordered 3!) The skewers were delicious... my favorite was the Kobe beef and bacon wrapped asparagus. This would be a great spot for a party of 2 as we had a hard time sharing with a party of 5. Each of us wanted to eat all the food!!!
Can’t wait to go back!
What a great surprise! Everything about this place was wonderful. One wonders where they will be dining as it's near old Las Vagas and not in the greatest neighborhood, but you need not worry.
An oasis within the "Old Las Vegas" where it all started - area a little run down, but soon to be gentrified, we understand. The restaurant is located in an old style Las Vegas motel, and is cozy, modern and relaxing. Fabulous bar seating stretches the length of the kitchen so you can see the chefs at work. Tables and banquettes make up the seating. Service was friendly and professional. All the skewers were amazing, especially the lamb and chicken skin. All the appetizers were outstanding - beef Tataki and pigs ears were stand-outs - the shrimp and bacon okonomiyaki to finish our meal was out of this world! A must visit - we will be back!
So good! Great service, our waiter was super knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks were beyond outstanding, great sake collection, and the food was divine. Cool atmosphere in the old Ferguson’s Motel downtown.
Fantastic Japanese food! Okonomiyaki, gyoza and quail were excellent. I must if you like authentic Japanese
We always have an amazing time when dining at Hatsumi. Perfect atmosphere to unwind after a hectic day, have a fun time with friends or bring a date for a romantic dinner. Great food and top notch service !
Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillller. Highly recommend.
For a restaurant that's only been around since May 2019, Hatsumi is nailing it. The food is superb. The space is interesting and unique. The staff is engaging, responsive and on point. And the price point on the food is almost ridiculously reasonable. Hatsumi is one of the best additions to Las Vegas' restaurant scene in the last year and an amazing addition to the emerging downtown Las Vegas/Fremont East District footprint.
Found this place through yelp and was not disappointed. We ordered a few things beef tataki-awesome, pork dumplings- flavorful, yakitori (chicken and spring onions- 🤤, chicken skin-🤤, american kobe-get it!!) . Love how the place is set up and where its located. Plenty of parking, and after dinner we walked across the street for a market in an alley. Servers are very engaging. Will be back.🤗
I would highly recommend this restaurant! Plus, I love the repurposing of the motel into two restaurants, office spaces and music venue.
Everything was amazing. Everytime our dishes came out the sever or manager explained to us what was in it and how to eat it. Which every dish was so good. The skewers were delicious!
This place is a gem! Will return often. And they are opening another restaurant on the other side of the complex. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced.
This is a fun new spot in an area that is up and coming. Food was delicious and environment was fun and lively. PublicUs is around the corner as well as the Writers Block a cool book store.
It was amazing!!! I want to take a bath in the beef tataki!!! The potato salad was unreal. We ordered seconds because we couldn’t get enough! Our server was awesome and had such a great personality.
Everything was amazing. Especially recommend the Pork bell kimchi!
We went for n with high expectations based on reviews, and left a bit disappointed. The flavors were definitely there, but the portions were a bit small. The pork belly and kimchi appetizer was disappointing.
Good, not great.
I would recommend this place to anyone. Solid cocktails, great food, reasonable pricing. Staff was also very friendly and the speed at which we were served all our food was kind of impressive.
Food at Hatsumi is delicious, it’s my second time here, and definitely isn’t my last. However, with that being said, I just wish the service was a bit better. We had to flag down our server twice, just to order. We had to flag down another server to get the bill, and flag them again to get our card. How do they not realize that if they turn tables faster, they would make so much more money? Lol
Original menu, Good food good service, what’s not to like?
I have been to HUNDREDS of Japanese restaurants all over America from nori-yaki bars to hand cut ramen houses with lines that wrap around the block.
Hatsumi is an absolute must for any foodie. The rare combination of fusing traditional yakitori technique with a fresh twist on flavor and presentation.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone willing to experience a truly unique Las Vegas Japanese meal!!
Delicious, eclectic Asian fusion fare. Plus pretty and yummy cocktails.
Food and Service was great. Highly recommend if you are near downtown/Fremont.
Such amazing food and drinks. Can’t wait to go back. Interior very nicely done. Bathrooms very cute, too!
Food was amazing! Cute and clean place! Service was outstanding. I will go back there with friends! My favorite was the miso glazed chicken and shrimp skewers!
Great value! Loved the menu suggestions from our waiter. The Goyza were so delicious. The sauce that came with it stayed on the table the whole night, so good!
The service was very attentive. All the staff were friendly. The food was very good but short of five stars.
Unique and delicious. Everything we tried was delicious and nothing we had seen before anywhere else. They described each dish expertly.
Great variety of small plates and skewers! It is located in an up and coming area of Las Vegas, but is a fun place to dine with friends.
The place was very modern, the food was excellent. Very good value, something you won’t get in other Japanese food establishments
By far the best meal we had in Vegas!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service was incredible the food was amazing!!
Great experience. Service was exceptional, and the food was amazing. The shrimp okonomiyaki was delicious and the combination of flavors in the beef tataki was yummy.
