It was so amazing!!! My favorite is the black chicken Karrage but everything is so exquisite! Thank you!!!
This was by far among the best service that I've ever had at any restaurant. John was amazing. Great experience 👏
Their service was very slow
Loved this place, tasty food, tasty drinks
This place is bombbbbb! We stumbled across Hatch while looking for a place to grab dinner, and were so happy we found it! The food is amazing, our server Manuel was friendly, informative, and made us feel so at home. It was hard to pick a favorite dish, but we really enjoyed the bacon wrapped short rib.
We can’t wait to come back!
We had a relaxing happy hour over great food with incredibly diverse flavors and attentive service.
Food was delicious and staff were friendly, but we had to ask multiple times for a few items that hadn’t arrive to our table. The staff had mixed up which tables ordered which foods. About two hours later, we finally got everything we ordered. Despite the long wait, everything was still delicious and staff were still attentive.
Great food and place
Great food! Disappointed that they didn't have the bone marrow.
Poor service, forgot our food. Very slow. Wasn't even busy for them.
They weren’t open. Said they were
Food was great…will come back!
Yakitori is good.Other food is so so.
Beer is best to drink here
We had incredible service and the food is DELICIOUS! Drinks are are also GREAT!
Great bar food, Japanese with a modern twist, tapas style. Festive, casual and delicious!
Generally, I am a creature of habit. I tend to dine close to where I live at the same places over & over again. However, I had been told about Hatch my one of my co-workers and decided to go and check it out for myself. I made an 11pm reservation on a Saturday night so I could fully grasp the ambiance, service and thoroughly get to enjoy the experience.
My server, Daniel was exceptional. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Mitake Mushroom, the Avo Tuna Toast, and the black chicken Karaage with charcoal ranch sauce. Everything was perfectly cooked, delicious, and exceeded my expectations.
I can’t wait to go back here, bring all my friends and office staff for a great night of food, fun, and drinks. This is definitely my new hot spot and I am looking forward to enjoying more of what this phenomenal restaurant has to offer. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a change of scenery.
👌🏼Nice, The food delicious!
Food was top notch. Service was impeccable! Very friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance is lively yet cool
Best chicken skewers and karaage in LA. Matcha highball cocktail is also a highlight. Must try if you like yakitori fare.
Fun, tasty, pricey. Went for the happy hour like people suggested. And thank goodness I heeded the advice. We liked the food fine, really enjoyed the cocktails, but the prices were just pricier than what we'd expect for happy hour. To give you an idea: We were two women who had one drink each, ordered off the hh menu, and still spent $100+ at the end of the night. It was a fun time, but something to think about if you're on a budget.
I'd recommend it for a fun third date - where you want to impress someone, drop some cash, but not seem like you're trying too hard.
Food is always tasty at Hatch. Their drinks are tasty too. Great place for a date.
I love Hatch, one of my favorite places to bring friends visiting LA. Great location, service is always excellent, food is always excellent, great space — can’t say enough good things.
Amazing food and experience. I will be back!
We went for a late lunch and there was only one server. She did a very good job helping everyone but they would have benefited from another server. Food was really good and came out fast. I was at a business meal so I couldn’t drink but I’d love to come back and try their cocktails
Birds were in our food, yuk. It was so annoying. Service was ok.. nothing over the top.
this is my 2nd time here and the service is awful but the food is really good. this is an extremely expensive restaurant considering the size of the portions for the price, so you would think the service would be better. the drinks are pretty good!
Great food, good vibe. Would definitely go back
great food...great drinks...definitely great spot for a quick bite or a long meal.
We used a dining reward and still spent a pretty penny here, but the food was SO DELICIOUS. Everything was small and shareable, and we were able to try many things and find what we wanted to order more of. Specifically, we had all of the vegetable skewers (except for the eggplant and asparagus -- we're pescatarian), the tuna belly, the eel, the corn fritters, and then avo tuna toast. We LOVED the corn fritters. They were so light and tasty, and we mixed all the sauces together that they came with. Those were the star of the show. The eel and Tuna were okay, but all of the veggies were lovely. The ave tuna toast was probably not worth the full price, but also a decent portion. Worth trying out. Next time we want to order the hamachi.
Happy hour was lovely, but we spend half the time not in happy hour, so it added up cost wise. We LOVE the location - the bloc is great. We went prior to a movie at Alamo Drafthouse and I'm 100% sure this will be our go to prior to our next one. We highly recommend.
The tuna avocado toast and hamachi were my favorite on the menu.
Food and service was great. The lights from the surrounding shops makes the outdoor area not as intimate. I couldn’t stop eating the pork belly sticks and the oysters were phenomenal.
Mediocre food. Decent cocktails. Sterile environment. Relatively disinterested staff. Kind of a disappointment. Maybe it just underwhelms on a Monday
Food was beyond delicious. Service was good until it got crowded but that's understandable. Would come back again to try the other dishes.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Will definitely go back! Hi
Everything was great! Food, ambiance, and service was overall awesome. My server was the only complaint. He was not very professional and a little too relaxed. Other than that I would come back but would prefer a different server next time.
Food was overpriced & and it took them too long to get our orders and it also took 30 mins to get our cocktails & food. Food was okay, I had better yakitori anywhere else in little tokyo and cocktail was worse me mixing soda & liquor at home.
My favorite restaurant in DTLA. Great food, Great service!
Would definitely come back. I just wish we were closer to the area. Great flavors and everything was well cooked. I would say it's a nice balance of a traditional yakitori spot with an upscale twist, but not overly done in any way. Took my wife here for her bday, but would love to go back just because, plus hard to beat the Japanese whisky selection.
Loved it, excellent food and service
Good food and liked their Happy Hour menu!!!!!!!!!
