Everything was good, food, service etc.
Nice venue. A little noisy-it was hard for our waiter to take our order when the bartender used the blender to make a drink.
Wait staff was not that knowledgeable of the menu but we were fine.
Nice birthday comp dessert.
Will come back since there are not many yakitori restaurants near us.
Had lunch at Hatch. Overall, food and service were great. All the skewers were great except for the beef tongue. The cut is a bit diff than what I was expecting. More like a chunk of rib eye. But other than that, loved all the items. Will be back!
We have been to many izakaya restaurants and were excited to try Hatch as it is in the neighborhood. Disappointing to say the least. Couple of good dishes - Black karrage and black rice was it. Rest was average, small portions (even for izakaya) and way overpriced. Waiter forgot to put our order in twice so we waited long time then charged us for dish we ordered but never received. Overall it’s not worth the money. Way better authentic izakaya places in South Bay than here.
Slow service, forgot multiple orders. Ambiance was nice and food that came out were good.
Fantastic and interesting plates. Very friendly service.
I didn’t expect too much because I’m Japanese but it was actually awesome!
I told our server that I was allergic to oysters and to not bring them out and they still did. The servers also couldn’t remember what they brought out, forgot a few items, were rude and interrupted randomly, and didn’t show up when needed. When I’m paying $125 for a meal (not including our drinks), I kind of expect service to be top notch. The more serious note was that they brought out items I am deathly allergic to. They also didn’t offer any substitute items for allergies. All in all, I love the food, the ambiance was great, but the service is severely lacking and the food is overpriced for what you get.
Hatch was incredible! I chose Hatch for my college graduation dinner and could not be more satisfied. All of the food we ordered was amazing and we couldn’t pick which one was our favorite! The waiters were very informative and got us our food quickly. It is a nice restaurant but not stuffy, if you know what I mean. I highly recommend!
Had a really good time here, although it was more expensive than we were expecting. $260 (including tax and tip) for three people! They bring you an assortment of cool glasses to choose from/drink from, if you order the sake.
Outstanding and fun food. Excellent service.
Fabulous service and delicious food. We got a total of 11 dishes and nothing disappointed.
The service was very good during our lunch hour visit. The food was excellant. The avocado toast was my favorite! Hatch will be a regular.
We had such a delightful Dine LA meal. The food served was so delicious! The staff was so nice!
Hella good; very authentic but modern at the same time for Japanesse Yakitori. Took my in-laws there, who are the most pickiest people, and they loved it.
Terrible service for the money spent at a nice tapas restaurant. Soup came out last for some odd reason
Everything was delicious.
We had a great time although the music was too loud for conversation at times. The server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Slow service. Food was cold. Food overpriced. They literally turned the lights off while we were eating.
I’m a regular here but it’s sad to see they stopped caring about the quality of food and customer service. Will not be returning.
Had 3 different servers.
I asked about my Yelp check-in offer 3 times. Never came
30 mins wait for dessert: Asked also 3-4 times and eventually tried to cancel. Asked for the check instead and the dessert came from another server. So frustrating at any point of the meal, but especially frustrating since we were at the end and trying to leave.
There was a long line at the door, better service would've opened up the table to new guests.
AND we didn't get our drinks half off for the Tuesday special deal.
the Order Employee on the receipt says Oscar, but it was a female taking our order.
Incredible experience that I have never done. Food was awesome and my server was kindful ans friendly guy- Wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend!!!
Good food, clean environment
Excellent food and great service. I have to admit that this place will break your preconditions about food presentation and taste.
Amazing variety of drinks and the ambient is so clean and comfortable, time seems to fly bu when you eat there.
Def coming back on a Tuesday! A++
Excellent quality, stylish presentation, good sake list - “Mystery” was very good, $20 corkage
great place cccc
A unique experience for some great yakitori and izakaya style dining. Great ambience with a wide selection of beer, wine and delicious cocktails. Food was superb and hosts were helpful. Get here while it’s new! This place is going to be hot.
Stand out dishes -
Avocado Tuna Toast (their version of crispy rice)
Black Karaage (their version of fried chicken) with fermented garlic ranch is so delicious.
Skirt Steak with Fresh Wasabi (thats right real wasabi)
Catch of the day with the shiso - churri.
Cocktails and sake list were excellent, overall a great experience!
Amazing. Chicken meatball, beef tongue, and Chicken karaage were some of our favorites. Can’t wait to go back!
Tucked away on the bottom level of the mall, this was a wonderful experience to walk in to. It’s simple but purposeful in its design. Specializing in chicken but expanding in to other veggie and protein option they really delivered. The food was delicious and our friends were wishing they had a Hatch in Alaska.
We had an awesome time here. Food was great, music was great, the team was super welcoming and friendly.
The staff was so helpful and down to earth. Food was good, too. I liked the mushroom skewer. Inside the music was louder than I prefer, so we ate outside.
A little noisy (terrible music) and the surroundings are a little cold (hipster-bait) for my liking, but the food was fantastic, easy to access and park.
